When players need more distance they don't go with a heavier head and shaft. Every brand has gone lighter in head and shaft to see gains. Force vs mass is valid physics but has less value in golf or at least in this application for increasing driver distance. If you doubt this just look at every brand going lighter and stronger in head and shaft.

I welcome more offset in designs. And the P2 obviously got pretty big offset as you can see in your pics, I'm sure you see It. RMX MB vs CB has a big difference in offset vs each other and especially against the P2. These personal 2's are 2.8 in the PW and 3.5+ in the long irons. Compared to the other Epon irons it's considered a goose neck, nothing to hide they use that term themselves to describe these. This is a similar amount to the ONOFF forged 2013 cavity. More than any Honma TW iron and pretty close the IS-03.

Seven Dreamers is a new shaft company launched early 2014, while new the company has a long standing history in composites dating back for over half a century. In 1955 Minamoto Takeishi Watanabe came across a material that left him intrigued with all it's possibilities, he decided to single handedly study composites and after 2 years of research in 1957 established his very first composite molding plant in Shibuya, Tokyo and thus began the company Super Resin Inc. Originally it started off with glass fiber composites then a year later in 1971 Super Resin took the global lead in molding carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). For those of you who are new to CFRP it's basically a composite material made of fibers and resins that has a very high strength to weight ratio that is often used in aerospace, automotive and recently sporting goods. unlike materials like steel or aluminum CFRP has directional strength properties that depend on the design and lay out of the carbon fibers. By the mid 80's super resin expanded into Advanced Composite Materials (ACM) establishing their first ACM plant pursuing R&D in the aerospace field and as a result developed a CFRP remote control space (drone) in 1988. Over the next decade Super Resin was the supplier for many materials used in space satellites which would evenutally lead them to join the Hayabusa project in the late 90's. The Hayabusa project is the first and only unmanned spacecraft to land on an asteroid and return to earth with an asteroid sample. Super Resin materials are found in almost every satellite launched in Japan Today. Are all these advanced materials and technology overkill for a golf shaft? Simply put no it isn't, already on the market there have been shafts costing upward of $1000 dollars and some based on hype or fancy branding so now finally a shaft arrives that provides and justifies the price with quality, technology, and the consistency our money deserves. What makes a shaft from Seven Dreamers stand above others? Below we breakdown the difference between Industry standard shaft vs the way Seven Dreamers builds their shafts. In the standard industry process, shafts are made using a normal oven under atmospheric pressure. To apply pressure during processing, the shafts are wrapped with a shrink tape, After the process the tape has to be removed and when removed it leaves an uneven surface. The Seven Dreamers process uses actual inner and outer metal molds while the shafts are processed in an autoclave under pressure, no need to apply shrink tape. To smooth the uneven surface, the industry standard shaft requires grinding and polishing but the grinding while it smooths out the surface it also damages the individual fibers and that has a major impact on the performance of the shaft, the carbon fiber itself and the design is what gives the shaft its unique strength and stiffness. The Seven Dreamers shafts are smooth as they come out of the massive autoclave, there is no need to grind and polish and there is also no need to paint either because the shaft is made perfect and true to it's blueprint with no variables or extra weight from paint. The results are shafts manufactured as they are designed consistent from one shaft to the other. The outer mold keeps the shaft perfectly round while in the autoclave, the result is complete accuracy unlike other shafts. One of the most exciting aspects about working with Seven Dreamers is their scientific approach to total club performance, Seven Dreamers actually takes the customers club head into consideration with their proprietary fitting process during the shaft selection phase. Paint add's unnecessary weight and covers carbon material inconsistencies, similar to how a plated finish can hide grind defects on an iron or wedge. Seven Dreamers shows it's bare carbon as a testament to the qualities of material they use. The fairways are really good, really good. Most of these have 65 gram options. I suggest ditching the 3 wood and playing a 5 wood a bit long and tight, just easier to hit and refreshing.

One of the things SD doesn't do is paint their shafts. It adds about 3-6 grams in shaft weight also with carbon that perfect they are probably showing off. Over the years and by a country mile it's the Yururi Gekku Raw CONFORMING version. The Unicorn, It does not exist. The raw was only available in non conforming grooves. The Tour is available in conforming and non conforming. But never the raw. too bad.

That's a good question, naturally I wanted to compare them against each other right away. A55G is really easy to hit, rounded and smooth that just goes through turf like nothing. "slide through" the feel is very different than the Suda-wedges, the Suda's are what most of us are used to, nice pure form forged feel, precision, more aggressive looking while the A55G is soft and dense like a firmer mizuno but different. While the feel is different the performance is somewhat like the grind on the Buchi global wedges that also glide/slide through turf making them very user friendly. This is just a really stunning wedge that I wasn't expecting. Even the matching iron set feels and performs like the wedge. Comparing them to the most compact CBC model modart irons these feel different more spongy than firm.

Modart MWC A55-G Wedge For some reason when I first saw these I thought they were bigger, then mine came in and they are small. CNC'd from a block of carbon steel, the feel is an unbelievable dense soft. Lofts: 48/50/52/54/56/58/60/62 Because these are fully CNC'd they run just north of $600 per wedge.

imo satirized really never looks clean, that sorta gloss effect is lost where as factory done satin still has that effect. our refurb/refinish/build service is about to begin at the end of this month. this is not through gold's factory TSG deals directly with multiple refinishers only in Japan, our prices will be fair for the quality you receive.

This equation is from sevendreamers I think the bottom line with the equation is that a lighter club allows you to swing it faster which means higher ball speeds. I don't know F=MA, how does a heavier head/balance increase ball speed if the opposite is true?

I gotta keep reminding people that Gold's isn't a putter maker, they modify putters. PZ milling comes from me requesting premium zone milling on a putter, orbit G weights came from a customer asking GF to make weights like scotty.

It's boron, not new, old material used in making shafts. These pics were on mizuno's twitter page last week. Mizuno is making a a new forged material that's more of a blend.

Bridgestone vs Srixon It's being called a war of Ballistic Trajectories, a little dramatic imo but it's going to be great watching the two duke it out. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Srixon should have this one. The first thing worth mentioning is that Srixon has a 400cc head in the line up with the Z945 driver, not many brands are willing to make them that small anymore. The Z945 is very similar in shape the the Z745 while the Z545 looks quite different. Z945 vs Z745 the 745 simply extents a bit further back and has a taller face especially at the top, of course the 945 the smallest head has the sexiest setup and face profile. In the first image and the one below you can see how the more forgiving Z545 has 2 weights with the back weight all about increasing MOI.
