  1. Best way is to post it in our forum with nice clear pictures if you are in doubt.
  2. They are usually in S.E Asia, China, & UK & USA Ebay.
  3. I think a lot of that has to do with how your swing works with the i9's. It's pretty certain that if you installed your normal shafts at your specs these would perform admirably. It sounds like a timing issue due to the graphite shaft. I've only played the i10's in a set of 5003's and the combo was one of my best ever but it has been a while since playing graphite in irons.
  4. I do from both of you! I have full faith that you guys know enough and have definitely own enough JDM to make some really good reviews. The hitting part is a blast, It's the writing part that sucks.
  5. Any other updates? I know at least 20-30 sets were sold. I'm still waiting for mine. I had to order with I-9 shafts because I-10's are sold out until June. I was told there is a chance the heads would be gone if I waited for the I-10's in June.
  6. We have been getting customers saying they are now into JDM and bought a Ryoma maxima online and are asking if it's legit. The majority have been fakes recently. We work with Ryoma to track these to the point of original purchase. Another big one lately is fake Crazy Shafts: Top Shaft = Fake Top Shaft = Real:
  7. I've played both, I also suggest doing some forum searches. 460HX is a great head, feels good likes to fly straight just all around awesome. You should also look at the new RomaRo Type-R driver ( i will post this week ) I've taken both out very recently for a quick head to head but only over 5 holes. The Maxima ST is longer but the RomaRo is more reliable. this is stock vs stock stiff shaft I'm talking here, on the ST I was out gunning the RomaRo by 10 yards at least. But of course the ST is non conforming and can't exactly handle faster swing speeds. The ST has better feel than the conforming version and better lower spin rates (Ryoma claims 300rpm less) If I needed non conforming I think I would choose the Type-R driver over the normal Maxima. Now is it worth it to spend the money to replace? I would say in the case of the ST it may be because once those are gone people usually want them even more. I will say if you end up going Ryoma buy it from us, I've seen too many get burned on fake Ryoma's lately, they look practically identical to the real thing. If you go Special Tune you want that face break warranty through TSG.
  8. Hi Kekoa, nice avatar btw. The global model is pretty forgiving. I would say more forgiving than the CB1007 and a little less than the AF302. It's size also fits in between those two. A little bit of offset & thick enough top line does wonders for forgiveness, We also noticed the perimeter weighting on this iron really works well making impact feel good on the edges. These take so long I would still suggest ordering custom. the trouble with reviewing custom versions is that each one is slightly different in options, for example I've had zero offset vs offset, square toe vs rounded, thick top line vs thin. Having hit all that I personally would go for minimal (not zero) offset, thicker top line ala ONOFF CB358 and square toe for looks but rounded for performance. It's can be a very forgiving CB depending on what you choose.
  9. Need help testing clubs. It's hard to find people nearby who know their stuff and are willing to write about it.
  10. So it's been a bit of a roller coster ride for Crazy. Started a few years back with the old president getting busted for some unsavory activity. Then Japan domestic sales tanked due to the affiliations of the old president and his actions. Early this year Crazy was purchased by a brand that runs pro wrestling in Japan and decided to change the company name to "Single B"... "Triple X" How original... Anyway besides that the good news is that Crazy will continue to offer products and produce popular older models and perhaps even launch new models under Crazy with new leadership. That said "Single B" will also be releasing products from wedges and irons from Toyoshima-san to their own line up of shafts and accessories. It's a pretty safe strategy, they get to say its under new ownership with proof of new brand, they can also continue to sell their great performing shafts under the Crazy label and hopefully the past never catches up with them. To be clear they will be making more FW80 shafts and Crazy Black UT's! just a small update.
  11. We did plan on picking up this brand a couple years ago and decided not to. However we can still get it for those interested at a good price. imo the product is cheap looking especially in person from irons to woods & wedges. Looks so funky we didn't bother shooting it at the show. It's pretty expensive for much of it not being made in Japan. That said it does have a following and the drivers supposedly perform like stew says.
  12. Color & Specs. S200 isn't that bad compared to KBS but in Japan they double check most american shafts and in many cases have to toss a lot. Same like Crazy KBS shafts, Color & Specs = big jump in price.
  13. That thing is beautiful! Especially the face shape.
  14. I bet it's long the lofts are super strong 40* PW!
  15. Need to correct some info. These are NOT RAW. These are plated and yes they do look raw even in person. So again Zodia wedges and Irons are no longer RAW. The pare plated with a RAW texture! No rust!
  16. Here's the MA01H Hybrid by Modart, I haven't hit it yet but will soon, this modart hybrid is shafted with the Crazy Black Utility and that will be going up against the Ryoma U w/stock shaft.. These two couldn't be more different I'll post the comparo soon. My initial impressions are that it's small and it reminds me somewhat of the Callaway JDM Legacy utility which I really did like as it was very easy to get up into the air and had a beautiful trajectory even with steel. This too is supposedly anti-left. It also has a little bit of offset as well which is interesting.
  17. Gun Blue will wear but it's similar to what over 60% of tour pro's play. I suggest the plated satin or black boron. black boron is a dark plating that doesn't rust and looks better and more uniform than gun blue this finish has a firmer feel to it. The plated satin is as the pics show and it feels just right imo. kinda soft w/feedback. These are handmade to the customers specs even bounce & sole grind. Takes about 6 weeks for a plated wedge, raw 3-4 weeks. If you don't want to wait we ordered 10 extra sets of 52/58 combo's with Modus 130 (just like set in photos) but even these should go quick. I suggest it like this, I'm blown away at their performance, feel, and feedback.
  18. I've got the Type-R driver going into tomorrow mornings round.
  19. We are bringing in a few more seven heads in that same answer shape and even the L putter shape In SM490A.
  20. There are so many to choose from in JDM land. If you want uber soft Custom Yoro Mizunos. We can also get Buchi or Modart in Copper, it's not the same copper as Epon it's a bit lighter and brighter, 2 versions brushed and gloss. In no particular order: Titleist Cold Forged Vokey Miura 5000WC Yamaha Tour Model 2014 Modart Custom Suda Buchi Customs S-Yard Bold Wedge by KK Also in regards to shafts you may want to try the lighter MCI's, the new NS Zelos, or even graphite.
