  1. Here are the M-Grind version of these coming out soon! TourStage X-Wedge Forged-M Wedge
  2. Is Taylormade Japan on to something? For those of us who have hit the original Gloire then the reserve we all know they are long, forgiving, and user friendly. These are designed for the non athlete type player although the driver can easily withstand a 100 mph swing speed. This year it's actually named Gloire "Distance"... Does that mean it's longer? I'm not sure only time will tell. The face looks a bunch cooler in black vs white. It's still the 70 layer composite material but TM claims its 55% bigger than the average sweet spot, that's even bigger than the reserve. It's got the adjustable loft, comes with the wrench, but what has my stuck is the shaft options. Head material: α · β titanium Face material: Graphite Composite + thermoset urethane loft angle: 9.5,10.5 Lie angle: 58 degrees Head volume: 460cm3
  3. All GT's wedges are awesome, even back in the day. The shape of this one is near perfect as well.
  4. I like Zodia especially the wedges. They have been CNC'ing all sorts of interesting cavity designs into open model heads recently.
  5. What you see him filing is actually him creating the shape for the mold to produce new tooling. It's pretty rare to see, I don't recall it ever being shown anywhere on video and only a few can still do it this way.
  6. 1. Yup Endo has made parts for many industries, in fact at one point they were tooling up to make motors for rolls royce and that wasn't too long ago. That deal didn't happen though. 2. I'm not sure to be honest but I've seen the rapid prototyping system building one offs for pro's. 3. I don't know his handicap but I know he hits it a mile for an older guy, he's a big dude.
  7. We shot this back in march it was about a month before the bolds became available. S-Yard came out with the XV Driver, FW, & irons after that and are about to release a super high COR series for the slower swinger.
  8. Wow that's a nice piece. Exactly what milling is this? Sasaya can also make thinner milling higher on the face going deeper on the lower portion.
  9. Former president of Endo and current president of S-Yard Kenji Kobayashi talks about his personal history in the Golf Industry and some of his philosophies on golf design. <!-- This version of the embed code is no longer supported. 10. 2016 Hybrid but this is just a rendering. The latest Nismo R35 was just revealed today and it's the fastest "Mass produced" production car around the ring 140k - 600hp The Porsche 918 holds fastest production car ever around the ring it's just not mass produced and it costs nearly 1m per.
  11. The Zen is a special putter one of those that don't come around very often.
  12. Sorry I was kidding, got all hyped up reading this thinking there would be a pic waiting at the end.
  13. Yes you are rambling, you don't even have the putter yet and it's god! ;)
  14. You contact Tario. Thats the best way hands down. Customizing your favorite putter is pretty bad ass as well.
  15. Stew, these are firm at impact no? How did you re weight your Maru's?
  16. Last few rounds I increased the weights in my xXx D013 8g & 6g went in. The sound went berserk it was wild but the driver was now uber heavy not to mention it was playing at 45.75". So after a few rounds with that monster I put the ptune waccine into rotation again and it felt light in comparison! It completely behaved and performed very well today.
  17. wow that's a pretty big deal. Is this egg as easy to hit as the 2nd gen? As straight? How could anything be straighter than the F3 or feel more rewarding than the XV..
  18. Yonex has been off my radar since the Ezone 380/420/450 drivers, they went a little big and loud after that. I miss the pear playeresque shape of the 380 and in the new i-Ezone TX they have seemed to get some of their mojo back. Yonex has 3 new drivers, this is the smaller cooler looking one. It's a carbon crowned, 6AI-4V Ti Cast body and SP700 face. It is yet another JDM adjustable so you can open and close the face, if you want to control trajectory closed sends the ball higher while open a bit lower. I'll be giving this club a whirl later this week so stay tuned for feedback and post any questions if you gotum. I've got the bigger driver here as well, not nearly as pretty but I will snap some shots.
  19. A good handful of members have these in the bag. I've been a fan of two Giken wedges recently this 5000WC & a two models back the 5000WB. The grind and feel is most remarkable about them both, Just very user friendly all around. The 5000WC is versatile, I've had some time with a 57* and I like it equally to the WB. In fact it's hard to tell the difference in performance and feel. They do carry a similar negative and that both Tatsuro and I found it to be 2-5 yds shorter than other wedges which is no big deal considering how well they perform just about everywhere else. The Spin is average to above average I think. What say you about the 5000WC?
  20. Any Crazy UT fans? Like the FW80 the UT never leaves my hybrids. Have been completely satisfied with it in my Type R hybrid for many months now.
  21. It's hard to tell, I hit a lot of really good drivers with really good shafts and so many pass through its all hard to gauge anymore. I need a good month of just playing hardcore to sort through it all. This is a good driver, it's a solid impact unlike the irons, a little much written on the sole, I'm not a fan of adjustable stuff and based on this heads feel even with one of my favorite shafts I probably wouldn't fall in love. Because it's got in my experience a decent amount of roll for a mid/high trajectory it does leave me curious to see what inserting a medium trajectory shaft would do for its overall distance. I'm not really looking for a distance champ there are plenty of those, I need a club i can swing smooth for 18 holes and get good yardage down the middle.
