  1. I don't see how you will get along with the ZERO, the Nike is it's complete polar opposite! Anyway let us know!
  2. I really never paid much attention to the Premia but you have peaked my interest. I've spent most time hitting the V-Spec. Have you hit both duffer? The easier the better.
  3. Fiamma is made of 40T. Here is a Video

  6. Scheduled to go into the proshop today or tomorrow at the latest.

  8. Many major publications in the Japan are similar to how they are on USA and trend with the big boys. I don't consider Yamaha an aggressive player in marketing golf clubs. Titleist in Japan totally is. So is Taylormade & TourStage.
  9. Mizuno's JDM line is called the JPX. It's a little on the big side. Go with something other than Mizuno for JDM. You can get some excellent deals in the B/S/T.
  10. http://www.kamuipro.co.jp/product/kpx.html U guys want this in the shop also? Kamuipro is a good brand. Kamui works is better imo but I havent tried the KPX.
  11. You may want to consider Ryoma & Kamui as well.
  12. That's interesting that you were able to get aggressive with the royal deco as it fits smoother tempos better most of the time. CB-50 & CB-46 are outstanding shafts that many get great results with. I think your spot on with CB-50 & Epon Zero sounds like a dream setup. CB-46 will also keep you from going left as well. In regards to flex and the royal deco people with 108-120mph swing speeds have been getting great results going down in flex but it seems that isn't the case based on what you described here.
  13. Awesome & congrats Robbie! You really had to go the long route I wish you would have saw it sooner. It's a fantastic maybe the best head out there provided you can find the shaft that brings it out and it looks like you did.
  14. We speak with Ryoma frequently. Still on for April. I saw the Special Tune prototype at Crazy and hit it into a net. I'm back in line waiting for one again. I went from scheduled to getting one of the first to probably getting the last.
  15. I would say go Ryoma, Crazy, or Kamui.
  16. Are you talking the Shingo Pro Spec? If you like that try the new Type-S they look very similar as the new Type-S is based on the pro spec but a bunch of tweaks were made to make it easier to hit plus more distance. It's considered a mid trajectory hybrid.
  17. The fact that forged clubs are much more expensive to produce I'm sure plays a big role in this also. It doesn't help that the USDM market is more budget oriented. No matter the application Forged tops cast. Iron/wedge heads. Forged Ti driver faces vs cast Ti and in the automotive industry look at all the high performance vehicles, they used Japanese forged pistons and rods while economy cars utilize casting.
  18. V-Forged is a fantastic iron, not as soft as the ONOFF but it feels superb. It's very forgiving maybe just a hair less than the ONOFF. So I say the V-Forged wins in setup and soft/solid feel while the ONOFF in forgiveness and softness. 905CB is pro level again. New X-Blade 707 is worth considering as I think you will need more forgiveness.
  19. Great Shot Dale! I still love the NS950/1050/1150. I have no issues playing NS950 in my irons, feels outstanding, it's a stock offering and it lands soft on greens. I can forward press and lower the flight or pop the ball up high with ease. I notice I hit longer irons easier with the 950 as well. On Yamaha irons. I have never played a full round with the Tour's. BogeyDog is making me wish I kept the set. V-Forged non tour is pretty outstanding as well.
  20. Good points Spoon, I've felt some pretty amazing cast clubs ala Fourteen TB1000 proto but if you take the best feeling cast club and put it up against the best feeling forged club there is no comparison. night and day. game over! I think just your average decent feeling forged head will feel just as good if not better than the best cast head.
  21. Me too! I can't handle any of those shafts for an entire 18. Stew are you saying CB50 if you could only choose one?
