NEW crazy 460
It's an awesome driver. Set solidly in the bag. I have no experience with Ryoma yet because I have been so happy with the new CRZ-460. I have it with the Crazy Black HOT. This combo could go a bit lower for my but I have picked up a lot of yards which has helped as Tatsuro is always draging me to the tips and now im only 30 yards behind him instead of 50!

Titleist VG3 vs Titleist AP2 ?
Yup I love the VG3, its got minimal offset yet a top line that isn't razor thin which to me equals lots of forgiveness + confidence! I'm going to see whats new and available at the Golf Show next week. If nothing tickles my fancy im back with the VG3 or Epon 302's. One thing to note is the VG3 has gotta be one of the most highly demanded irons in Japan. The back orders are silly. We can find sets quickly if your willing to wait on the #4 iron or be flexible on set make up and specs.

2 & 4 Wood Suggestions
I agree with ya Spoon, the EGG is not the best off the tee. I don't get along with any shallow face FW's off the tee. Even the 202 HT. standard 202 is a gem off the Tee! Royal Collection makes some killer driving fairways! My opinion is that nothing beats the Egg off the fairway.

Less is More! Smaller Driver Heads
love the opinions guy's my take is different on longer shafts and maybe Tario can chime in with some of the data found in the shaft bible and other Japanese independent publications. The longer shaft does create a little more distance. The shorter shaft increases the accuracy of hitting it dead center. When all is equal and you hit the longer shaft dead center and the shorter shaft dead center the swing speed, ball speed, and most importantly distance is increased a bit with longer shafts. So that's what the research shows... My take is hit whatever you hit best. For me 44.5 - 45.5" is good. Longer shafts have softer butt sections when designed as such which equals better feel as well. Also the type of shaft plays a big part in it. For example 50-80T shafts have significantly less shat deformation which brings the head back to it's starting point a lot faster. This supports the longer shaft. Crazy is a great example of a shaft that works well at 46" or 44.5"

Less is More! Smaller Driver Heads
The 380ccc head's are back in Japan. Top TourStage players are playing their new prototype R driver which comes in at 385cc's and Ryo Ishikawa is gaming the new EZONE Type 380 by Yonex as well. I do however think that the Epon AF102 is a good example of a 460 driver that has many of the same attributes that smaller heads do in regards to feel, face depth, and pear shape. When you get below 400 the pear just really starts to look super sexy. I'm sure these new 380's feel amazing at impact!

2 & 4 Wood Suggestions
Hi AB, Welcome to the forum, thanks for making a signature, now all you need is an avatar! In regards to fairway woods, so many. The favorites at TSG are the new PRGR Egg, Epon AF202 HT Spec, Royal Collection FW's and there are also a couple of new Spoon's set to come out one from MAC TEC Japan and the other from Maruman. It will come down to your budget and what sort of characteristics you want. Looking for a distance? Go EGG! It will send the ball up pretty quickly. Also driving irons are a good way to go as well! Anyway so many options for you here, Are you looking for lower lofts to lower the flight or simply gain more distance?

Epon AF 101IP vrs AF 102
Anyone find that IP finished heads have a different feel or pitch to them? AF101IP vs AF101 std.
-
Epon AF 101IP vrs AF 102
I think the 102 feels better and has a better shape and profile by a slim margin. The head weight can be custom ordered through us. Distance is about the same in my opinion. The AF102 with a FireExpress or Crazy is an insane players setup.

CRAZY vs RYOMA vs QUELOT
Which Ryoma did you hit, the V-Spec is 8.5/9.5 and 0.5 open. I think it all goes with the shaft, I have a Crazy driver now that higts a mid high ball that goes a mile but Ryoma has been all the rage with those in the know in Japan. Thanks, Chris

Why is epon not promoted more in the US
There is some truth to that shambles but Endo also manufactures mass produced products for companies like Callaway, Cobra, Titleist etc..

Why is epon not promoted more in the US
Endo is hands down the most advanced factory with the best materials in the world when it comes to golf clubs. It is also more expensive for OEM's to produce their clubs there so they tend to only manufacture their highest end models or most tech packed models at Endo because other factories just can't do it. Nothing is pre made and stamped at Endo, it's designed by the OEM in correlation with Endo, the CAD & tooling is produced and belongs to the OEM. To put it in car terms some VW engines are made in Canada, U.S, or Mexico while the Porsche engines are made in Germany. They must make them in Germany because they require experts to build them by hand. Similar deal with Endo and golf clubs. Hope that helps a bit.

Verizon or AT&T?
TourSpecGolfer posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearIn my Area it's all about Verizon but when I have lived in other area's it was all about AT&T having better coverage. I'm also a big fan of CDMA as that has always been the easiest transition for me between the U.S and Japan. Also below is the latest chart put up by BillShrink compares the latest plans.
