  2. I would like to get the new iphone4 but AT&T sucks in my location. At my desk in my office I have to lean forward to get reception. My living room and kitchen drop calls ever minute. Rumor is early 2011 there will be a new one that corrects antenna issues but little good that will do me if my reception is poor. Thanks for posting about this in our new section T. Lots of people are curious about jail breaking. FYI to everyone its not illegal to do.
  3. TOKYO — Rumors lately buzzing around Japan suggest that the next-generation Nissan GT-R will come with a hybrid option. Earlier reports suggested that Nissan was working on a high-performance SUV using the GT-R drivetrain. This car, which would wear an Infiniti badge in the States, would be Nissan's answer to the Porsche Cayenne (which is Porsche's best-selling model), the BMW X5 and X6. Another rumor hinted at a four-door GT-R-powered sedan badged as an Infiniti that would go head to head against the BMW M5 and Porsche Panamera. As far as we know, both of those projects have been shelved in favor of the GT-R hybrid. Upon closer inspection, the hybrid option is the most feasible of all the rumors pertaining to the future of the GT-R. That Nissan showcased a high-performance hybrid in the Infiniti Essence is a fact (the Essence was built atop the GT-R platform), and with reports of Porsche also toying with the idea of a hybrid-powered 911, it would be natural for Mizuno and Nissan to entertain thoughts about a hybrid option. Digging deeper, we're told that the possible candidate for the powertrain is the HV system used in the hybrid Infiniti M to be released next year, but with a dramatic power increase. The Essence showcar's hybrid system consisted of the G37's 3.7-liter V6, whose output was raised to 440 horsepower with the help of twin turbochargers. This was combined with a 160-hp electric motor, bringing the grand total to 600 hp. For the GT-R, Nissan would go with the 3.8-liter twin turbocharged V6 (VR38DETT) with the same electric motor used for the Essence. The target output would also be 600 hp (440 hp from the gasoline engine and 160 from the electric motor). That means the hybrid GT-R would boast more than 100 hp more than the current GT-R, while fuel economy would improve to roughly 25-30 mpg. And because it's a GT-R, we're also told that all-wheel drive will still be part of the package. To counter the weight of the hybrid system as much as possible, Mizuno and company are expected to put the next-generation GT-R on a diet, but the curb weight is still expected to rise once the battery pack and electric motor are added. Still, we're told performance will increase over the current-generation GT-R (R35). Nissan's goal for the hybrid GT-R is for it to be just as quick as the current car — despite that curb weight increase — while boasting much better fuel economy. It's no secret that Nissan targeted the performance of the Porsche 911 Turbo when it developed the GT-R. A quick look at the car's specifications will reveal just how similar the cars are, from their twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engines' output, all-wheel-drive layout and of course, lap times around the Nürburgring. GT-R Chief Vehicle Engineer and Chief Product Specialist Kazutoshi Mizuno even went as far as saying he intends the "GT-R to maintain a life cycle of six to seven years as it evolves gradually during those years, similar to how Porsche cars evolve." But that was back when the GT-R was introduced in 2007. Today, the economic climate is far different than before, and now comes word that Mizuno-san may be changing his thinking about the future direction of the next-generation GT-R. We expect the Hybrid GT-R's price tag to be around $100,000 with an expected debut of 2012 as a 2013 model. The all new R9 Supermax driver is all black and ultra forgiving with a focus on distance and ease of use. Hi MOI and high launch with max carry. With the new FCT Sleeve the R9 Supermax comes in at an ultralight weight of 287g (R Flex)! This makes for increased swing speed and more overall distance for the average golfer. The all Titanium head features an inverted cone technology face and ultra thin wall crown at 0.6mm. The Supermax will be available in 9.5 10.5 and 12HT lofts. Taylormade will also release all black fairway woods and rescues both with FCT and a new set of irons. The Supermax FW features a bigger sized head (#3 175cc #5 152cc #7 146cc) with mid high custom 455 Stainless Steel faces. The 450SS body FW's are designed for high trajectory and distance performance. While the R9 Supermax FW does have FCT, it is naturally weighted for draw bias. The new Supermax Rescue will also be all black and feature FCT as well. Made of 17-4 stainless steel and available in 19 22 and 25* lofts. There will also be an all new mid sized R9 Supermax Iron which feature long and mid irons with a 2 piece undercut cavity design and shorter irons in a 1 piece design with no undercut. The long irons feature a 17-4 body and a custom 455 face while the 8 to wedges are all 17-4 SS. The irons do have offset especially in the longer irons which becomes progressively less as the irons get shorter. The lofts are ultra strong with a 23* 5 iron again showing a big focus on distance. The all new Burner 2.0 irons are a performance iron with a focus on high MOI and a new sole design. Again we see strong lofts with a 24* 5 iron, inverted cone technology and Fubuki iron shafts. The new Rossa Core Classics putters will have the following 11 models released with the new and very soft AGSI R insert: Daytona 1-02 Daytona 8-02 Sebring 1-02 Sebring 3-02 Indy 1-02 Indy 4-02 Monte Carlo 7-02 Monte Carlo Center Shaft Fontana 7-02 Maranello 8-01 Maranello 1-02
  6. The raw face is a big plus to me it has a softer feel and when it rust it seems the feel becomes enhanced even further. I've been told that the spin is improved as well but I see that as opinion not fact.
  7. I like forging as well but have experienced some great feeling cast products like the old fourteen TB-1000 prototype & the more recent TM burner TP iron. Outside of those not many have impressed me over the years so I still tend to gravitate big time to Forged products.
  8. Yup if you need a forgiving wedge that conform to the new rules these are great to get into. Very user friendly is what I feel about them.

  11. I agree the gn502 tour would be the one to compare against the af-302. The tr-500 should go up against the AF-TOUR.
  12. Thanks Supo! If it's S25C it isn't Endo but in 2000 mizuno was producing some clubs at Endo. Also what do you mean by "for tour pro's" it was a full retail release.

  15. I would have never expected a Forged iron in the egg series and it's also a surprise that it has minimal offset.
  16. Yup It's clean, looks very forgiving also. The only drawback is the price but I consider it a must try and if it doesn't work out I always have the current Egg models to fall back on.

  19. There are a couple versions of the S-10's. One is more player the other just under mid sized. As far as value goes about 300 bucks for 8 irons sounds about right. Very old clubs. The S10's I believe were produced by Endo, not sure just a hunch.
  20. Hey Sticks, I was able to hit both, the 302's are more forgiving and due to the meat behind the cavity feel a bit softer despite being made of the same S20C. The setup and shape of the TR500 Limited is better in my opinion and should be slightly more workable. TR500 is very similar to a blade in my opinion.   21. If you can handle the 208's you will love the 210's. Once dialed in it's near perfect in performance. I don't see the grooves being a problem the spin is actually pretty good on these.
  22. Looks like I was able to keep these. Soon they will be listed in the ProShop available heads only. Only 1 set will be sold to the public and that's the one I currently have in my possession.
  23. Compared to the KGX210 Wedge and without bias the seven hills wedges are softer and more straight forward to use. I still find the KGX210 wedge to be a little bit hard to hit when comparing to others on the market. The KGX210 has about the same amount of spin while its new rule conforming vs the Seven Hills wedge being non conforming grooves. I would sum up the SH wedge as very soft and good for players seeking a more narrow sole and the ability to open the face with stability in face direction.
  24. The KBS are awesome shafts. It's one of my favorite aftermarket shafts in steel. Combo that with 302's and you have got a winner!
  25. I'm using the Nowon expert grips in black these days. It's a pretty good grip not as soft as the other nowons, it seems to have less torsional twisting.
