      woo hoo! (^_^)

  2. It's very similar to the flat back. A 2010 model of the flat back is coming out soon. I'm not sure to the exact differences but this one is based on the new model.
  3. That's funny, no info or pics or even word on a new Egg and people are already lining up.
  4. Is everyone ready to see the new Egg spoon?
  5. So Dinesh Chand's new Yururi Blades appear to be the new 2010 coming out in a few months.
  6. How Crazy is that. Ingots galore plus PZ milling. Expensive Putter!
  7. Hi Adam, I've been fit on the trackman and other devices multiple times. In my opinion trackman is more about finding very accurate ball flight, swing speed, distance etc.. information. The fitting will still rely on the fitter and also rely heavily on what clubs they have for you to hit. You can have an average fitting specialist with all the best fancy equipment and get still a poor fitting.
  8. Hi Biff, If you meant the Tour wedges, they may dig on bad angle shots, its a wedge designed for players so it's got the ability to pick. If you mean the RuPaS then those are very hard to make dig, designed with a wider sole and a rounded leading edge it compensates a little better during bad shots.
  9. Try the Yururi Rupas for max spin + conforming.
  10. I see Yamaha as the Titleist of JDM golf gear, they tend to use traditional shapes and designs yet kick it up with technology like Octaface V which breaks down the inside of the club heads face into various thicknesses providing attributes like enhancing forgiveness and improved feel. The 2010 new V & D series drivers also have a new Forged Titanium face which provides lower spin and more run. The V201 is a good choice as it's looks player yet maintains a 460cc head size. I wouldn't hesitate to consider the D series as well for those who have a bit of an issue going right or swing smooth. The V is still considered a driver for the faster swinger but by Japan's definition of "faster" many American golfers would be able to handle the V. Not many people have adopted Yamaha drivers, IMO it's very underrated and is one of the best Japan has to offer.
  11. Hi jer, Yup Rupas is conforming but designed to maintain nearly the same amount of spin as pre 2010 grooves. It's a bit funky looking but its very easy to hit (especially from the bunker) and it's based on the old Football Jersey logo'd Seida wedge.
  12. Pics are at the very top of the page. This thread is on the Yururi Tour's.
  13. Looks like everyone has to wait for the results of his Shoot Out...
  14. visit www.golftoimpress.com for more info on the new ATTAS T2 shaft by UST Mamiya!
  15. Hold on there buddy, Yes new irons and wedges are coming! 2 New Irons in the Yururi line up 2 New Irons in the Seida line up Yururi Tour Model wedges are available in Conforming ( Gold Paint ) & Non Conforming ( White Paint )
  16. Here's a little update after a few more rounds. The EGG makes me cocky on the course! I feel so confident yes even so with the stock shaft that i begin over swinging trying muscle everything because its so forgiving. Well last weekend I hit a point where I was swinging so hard my contact was poop. Im going to need to back off now until i get my Crazy FW80 installed. The 13* Egg Spoon is longer than my driver by 10 yds. It's also easier to hit!
  17. I agree man, I was talking about not caring much for the standard 202 not the HT. The HT is pretty solid, good feel and more forgiving than most Fairways on the market. To put it bluntly and as Spoon said, leave the #3 to the HT not the standard version. The standard version is much easier to hit in #5 and #7 though. I suggest it with a DI-7 shaft, very good combo.
  18. Hi Jim, This is what I suggest: 1. Epon AF-302 2. TourStage 703 Limited ( could be sold out ) 3. PRGR GN502 Tour Forged 4. Fourteen 910 5. TM R9 Forged 6. TM Burner TP These are all players CB's. If your striking is a strong point you should do fine with them.
  19. Maybe Gocchin can chime in, he has a lot of experience and knowledge with the Crazy & Quadra shaft profiles.
  20. Hey B!, Good to have you back, For those of you who don't remember Plus1 is a very good member from back in the day. Ultimate JDM bag, I know your style very well already man and you want the Best. Few questions: Blades or Players CB or Semi Players CB? What Shaft you desire? KB or NS I assume? Conforming or Non in wedges? Just off the top of my head and this is what I would like to call an Ultimate JDM Bag: Driver: Crazy FX-435 w/ CB50 or LY01 or TJ46 Crazy Shaft FW: PRGR Egg Spoon/FW + Crazy FW or Tour AD DI-7/8 Irons: Custom Epon 302's or Grind Studio Blade or CB or Combo Wedges: Yururi Tour, Seven Hills, Sky Dream, ONOFF S-Forged. Putter: Gold's Factory, Japan Odyssey, Custom Tune Golds Scotty Cameron Bag: Something All Black with minimal designs on it. Just my 2 cents, great to have you back!
  21. Thanks for your honest review. It's sad but I sorta agree with you on the Epon, The 202 ranks outside of my top 5 for sure maybe even my top 10. Yup RC does make a good product, not exactly long or forgiving but good feeling, consistent performance. and decent attributes make it very appealing.
  22. The brands that use spin welded hosels for their product are able to produce the head mold in 2D flat. Currently only TADA mfg sells spin welded hosel raw blanks in Japan. Miura uses spin welded for their entire product line, I know Scratch Golf used or uses it for their wedges.
  23. Mr. D, I assure you that its the same material and process. What your feeling is due to the overall/sole design, grind, and loft not the material. With most of their MB's they are adjusting the same mold and in many cases using existing molds and changing the grinds. In regards to Miuraism, The tolerance is no better than normal Miura product which is great. They use spin welded hosels which allows them to cut on mold costs using 2D instead of 3D. In the end design consistency is below average BUT it gives them the ability to zero in on exact weights and tolerance. Also Miuraism is supposed to be fitted in person by a Miura rep which isn't always the procedure as we can allocate the heads without the fitting.
