  1. Great thing about Japanese clubs is they use taper unless they are graphite shafted.
  2. Just a few days ago I played with Tario at his home course Kiminomori, I didn't bring my clubs so he let me play one of his many backup set's. The set had DP2010's with Roddio graphite shafts, these alloy produces a great soft feel, the wedge grind is spot and It's just an all around great wedge. The QC issues have been a concern but TSG will take care of those problems for our customers as always. Main thing is that they perform, feel great, and look great as well.
  3. I didn't even know a was suit was pending but it appears today Bridgestone Sports Japan won over Acushnet over the 2003 - 2005 model year Pro V1, Pro V1x, DT Solo, NXT, and NXT Tour balls. It was your standard patent infringment case and acushnet has been forced to pay damages. Bridgestone sports said they spent a lot of time, effor, and money on the research and development of the golf balls manufacturing technology and often produce new technologies far ahead of the compitition. I am not sure if this is a Japan only matter so if any insiders have some information please let us know.
  4. We can change your name to EponFreak if you would like, let me know. Seems like TMFreak must be your old name because you have moved on to much better things.
  5. The latest S-Forged is the first ONOFFF wedge in a long time to be forged at ENDO of S20C. The grind is not like the previous non endo forged models it's much more straight forward and versitile. Your two previous wedges were solid choices, I really liked the Cleveland Miura 588's but the TourStage wedges were a bit too compact for me. The feel of the PRGR is better than the Fourteen IMO, my first impression was that its about the same size but also more forgiving. I am about to shaft up the Crazy Wedges, those look stunning. In regards to the up and coming Epon 210KGX, I honestly can't say much because I dont have them in hand and I have never hit them, the 208 was not a user friendly wedge for most who purchased them I am hoping and have a good feeling that he new versions coming will be better.
  6. Thanks Corky, Crazy Wedge 2010 Yes ONOFF S-Forged Wedges Fourteen V5 Wedges PRGR Forged TR Wedge Sky Dream Jump's ( currently having QC issues but when it's spot on they perform and feel good ) In a nutshell those by far are the best in any market!
  7. Live images, specifications, and opinion here: http://www.golftoimpress.com/2010/03/tours...-limited-irons/
  8. As promised in hand images or you can read the write up in the GolfToImpress Blog.
  9. Yea PRGR actually calls it a blade at times. Technically it's a CB, I will post more pics in this thread tomorrow, It is stunning to look at in person.
  10. 8620 can be made using the casting process as well as the forged. One is produced using a mold, the other is heated and pressed. They can also be form forged.
  11. Ditto It's a huge improvement over the EMB. The Sound has been muted, feel enhanced and it has a much better setup. The launch is a about the same and in my experience they were equals in distance as well. FYI the scorpion is on the Japan version, we can get that model for you too if you request it at time of purchase.
  12. You Ok Pal? Is there a lack of Epon Images on our website? I will post pics from all angles tomorrow just for you.
  13. The SuperDeep promotes a lower ball flight due to the deeper face, it is also less forgiving on heel and toe shots, consider it the closest thing to a the old 510TP driver that was so popular back in the day. The SuperTri fit's a wider range of golfer, it's more forgiving with a higher launch. Online people are saying that the SuperDeep is for players with 110-120mph swing speeds. I don't think that's the case for a couple of reasons the first is that leaves out 99.99% of golfers in Japan or the USA for that matter and why would they offer it in softer stock shaft formats. Last week I hit the SuperDeep, It felt very good at impact but it lacked distance in my opinion compared to other drivers on the same launch monitor.
  14. I'm talking about the Iomic X-Fusion Diarrow and Rombo Grips. It's a cord grip available in both 2.3 and 1.8 sizes, basically softer with less torque so it feels better yet doesn't twist nearly as much as the previous model or even the No1's. I am personally gonna give the cords a try on my new Irons.
  15. The Masada's look slick due to the minimal amount of design on it but when you pick them up you will notice your glove hand is practically stuck to it. Not in a sticky way but in a total traction kind of way. I also look forward to the New low torque Iomics coming out in April, got to hold those at the golf show and really think Iomic has stepped it up, I can see those becoming our top seller very soon.
  16. They have irons coming soon but they are not all that sexy in my opinion. The key products that we can stand behind are the shafts especially CB50 model, these wedges, the shoes are simply to die for but very expensive, and I really like the hats they produce as well. A new shaft is also coming called the Noir. Not sure if you guys read how big Crazy has gotten in Japan, I think gocchin posted a blog post with sales data of 2009 and they have climbed to the top of the mountain.
  17. Guy's these will be in the pro shop shortly. If you need them now please drop myself or gocchin a PM. They cost 259.00 each, forged in Himeji Japan and are available in square grooves or the the new double R groove which is what Japan calls the groove rule change type. The price includes S200 but these can be custom built with most other shafts for a small up charge.
  18. I hear that Chikara is done and that he has moved back to Japan. I think he worked japan tour service for a little bit but outside of that the brand has pretty much vanished.
  19. Crazy Shaft Co. New Limited Edition Forged Wedge
  20. Hi Derek, Yes you can and they are available now. Just go to the top of the screen and click on PRO SHOP HOME. Find the product and checkout sir. If you have any issues just drop me a private message.
  21. Hey Guy's it will be a little while longer on the new designs. We are making adjustment to prototypes now to provide the best possible blade we can.
  22. Try taking it to your local clubmaker and tell him what you told us. I assume you dont have a swing weight scale so to dail it in better have someone who does have one do this labor for you.
  23. Ok gents got a approx price, its about 135 - 150 and he can make just about any groove even shredders. The finish doesn't have to be removed he can just CNC the exact location of the original groove. Keep in mind your grooves will rust if you dont clean them after the process. The other option is to remove the plating, CNC the new grooves onto the face then replate which would add some money to the job.
