  1. 15hcp, IMO dont play a blade or players CB, go with a mid size CB, i.e Srixon WR, XXIO Forged, PRGR is501, Mizuno JPX, R7 Forged, Yururi Gekku CNC, Tourstage VIQ Forged etc, ONOFF Forged etc.. etc..
  2. Just stating his opinion here, what is yours? Code Zero is like a white hot putter at 350g, the Eldik Ace has a aluminum insert, hollow body and gives off a clink, compared to the leap which is 350g with the premium zone insert and the premium zone vs the code its an easy pick.
  3. 1025 Double Pressed! Yururi has their own factory. Small one but its very high quality. FYI these are my gamers now! Hitting them good so im not sure if i want to try graphite Roddio's in this set.
  4. I second the ferrule and adapter thing that pitbull says. Also these so called 2006 models were released in April 2005 in Japan.
  5. Its a hard TPU and combined with the fact it has no undercut this iron feels pretty sweet.
  6. Wedge? No, None of Fourteens wedges are forged but its a really soft casting, when bending it feels softer than many forged wedges.
  7. Don't be concerned with Iron MOI, In regards to shafts of choice, of course you can for cost of parts plus labor.
  8. I have hit it but not enough to remember. Yes IMO its only 2-10 yards depending on your head speed.
  9. I would stay away from the Eldik Ace and get the Leap instead. Also the Player Zone i would skip all together.
  10. It is a high-tech composite shaft with Pentacross and Nano-Tech tungsten Prepreg technology for the hard hitter! Take a look at the Serial #'s TSG0038!
  11. A few people have been asking how to tell the difference between the USGA legal version and the HCR version. Red Line and it says H-COR
  12. This driver has a scratch that doesn't effect play at all. It is from the JPGA tour, I was told LJPGA. It is .5-1* closed 10.5 loft Its shafted to the expensive OZIK TP-7 Shaft in R flex, This is the shaft that retails for 1000.00 Club and Shaft have never been hit. Make me a good offer and its yours! light scratch seen in first pic.
  13. Pics taken for you Cameron, PRGR on Right Top line measurement ( PRGR is half a mm thicker )
  14. What kinda name is that? They have been getting play from some top JLPGA girls and sent us this sample. Reminds me of the new RC wedge.
  15. Anyone ever try the Budwar from prague? Americans stole the name and design and created Budwiser. The original is from the Czech Republic, but let me tell you its much much better. Its like drinking Amstel or Heineken in Amsterdam. The worse is drinking Asahi that has been bottled in Italy. Gross! European's make the best beer in the world!
  16. They setup a little smaller and feel a little more muted at impact. I guess its harder for the Mizuno to feel as good when the face doesn't have as much meat or bulk behind it. Also TPU's do absorb vibration quite well. Both are great irons, If i had to choose it would be tuff to do. Im just throwing out another great option... As if you guys needed more options..lol Having hit both i do think the Mizuno's fly higher.
  17. For those looking at the Mizuno JPX forged I actually find these to be just as good if not better.
  18. Also id like to mention if you have trouble hitting a 3 wood off the deck, try the 2007 Mizuno JPX and the new ONOFF fairways. both get up easy with no stress. If you want a 3 wood to hit off the tee, nothing beats the Epon 13.5 driving spoon.
  19. My take is a bit different, I hit 4 woods much better than 3 woods due to shape and loft. The 4 woods seem easier to get off the turf and in my experience fly even better if you play them at a shorter than normal length. Yes the 3 is longer but the 4 is better for my personal score.
  20. If it doesn't perform with better results than traditional blades there is no point really for Epon to produce one. They still consider the type J a muscle back. Ive seen them with tungsten inserts and was told it features the same flight characteristics as a cavity with less forgiveness. There isnt much that can be done that hasn't already been by Endo or other companies in regards to a blade, besides style and stamping of course. If you want a 1020 double pressed butter knife just get the ol MR-23 blade, its Endo forged. My opinion is that if +5 handicaps can deal with cavity backs than so should the low handicapper. Its all about performance and quality not lust and desire.
  21. No new blade is coming out. Word from the bird is by late 2007 early 2008 you may see 2 new drivers, a replacement for the Type X, a high bounce technity 58 & 60* version wedge and Epons first putter.
  22. Please keep in mind that when the finish is applied it looks much more smooth. I think we got enough suggestions for now, I hope to post some pics after all the feedback has been absorbed and more proto's made. To sum it up: - lower where the face connects to the hosel - A tad less teardrop - Grooves further away from the hosel - A tad higher lower toe grind Im guessing it would look something like this: You mean grooves? there are 4 different types of face designs on the table right now but im sure they will select one that is USGA legal. BTW none of the fourteens grooves are like the ones you saw in Japan. And the big E didnt make the wilson wedge. FYI guys this is not my brand im just aiding in the design.
  23. Have a look in the gallery guys and if you see a shape or a groove distance from hosel that you like post it in here please. I will take some digital caliper measurements from grooves end to hosel in a couple days against other wedges, seems like more than one of you are saying this so its gotta be a concern or the way i shot the image.
  24. If your not ready for a LM session then i would suggest getting the 1150, or S400, or Shimada AC-10 100. When you get fitted for length, lie, and optimal swing weight you can have them adjusted then.
