  1. X-Drive FW is my guess, I have not hit it or compared them side by side with the X-ST. the X-UT is a new model designed along with the X-Drive FW so I would assume they play quite close.
  2. I will be taking more pics today. I want to compare several medium size forged cavity backs for those who want somthing a little more forgiving than Miuras, Type J's, XCB's, etc...
  3. Hold on guys, what most of you know about spin is based off of OEM adverts and technology garble. Spin is not a bad thing it is neccesary for certain types of hitters and swings. A year or so ago it was high launch low spin was all the rage, well if you look at the numbers they didnt perform as good as the drivers with a bit more spin. Less spin was creating a little less distance. So in 2006 they started doing things to add spin to the club and back off that low spin trend every OEM was gunning for. Now they are making high launch with high kick shafts and ultra high MOI heads that are very difficult to work the ball the way you want. Pro's are requesting less MOI than these square drivers for a reason, japan is creating lower MOI versions of these clubs for this very same reason. So yes the score lines on the face are to increase spin on a low spin design head. It takes just the right balance of spin rates to get optimal distance.
  4. I dont know, and my Srixon Rep doesnt know either. In the USA they have a very limited product line.
  5. It has always been 4-6 weeks. Flat Black is its name and yes you can customize the new stuff with no Run Bird if you wish. I will have to double check if they can remove the bird from the sole.
  6. X-ST is the older FW model geared toward better players and that was just replaced with the X-Drive FW. ViQ is a series that is more forgiving with a higher launch. Ball flight and playability depends on your shaft, specs, and swing.
  7. Just released guys and on its way to the lucky five who pre-ordered first!
  8. For the XXIO fans its their first forged club in a long time!
  9. Below are a couple of custom mizuno sets that just arrived, the MP-32 has more of a killed trailing edge when I compare it to the retail version. Now if only my running bird logo 67's and R wedges would come in
  10. Srixons new forgiving forged cavity back!
  11. In Japan Srixon had no 460cc driver, until now the all new 2007 Srixon WR Series Driver!
  12. On our putter fitting studio we show Yes C-Groove, Guerin Rife, and G-Field as equals, face grooves seem to aid an end over end roll and reduce skip. Now that good role can be duplicated without them inserts by having the proper lie and loft angles, its just stock vs stock it seems those 3 putters mentioned had a slight advantage over others including, Scotty, Bettinardi, ASGI and others. That said G-Field has the softest feel while the others were a bit more clicky at impact. This imo is because the insert is made of SS304. G-Field does have dozens of more designs under their belt while Golds doesnt. G-Field also uses more Technology. Now as far as quality goes, Golds Factory is far better, I wish G-Field kept making their putters in Japan and if you just look at the options Mr. Sasaya of Golds Factory as you can tell is a true guru of what he does. Gotta love the brass pin instead of a sight dot. I have a couple of them on order and have a good feeling about these performing at the same level or better than my premium zone. Whatever the case I hope TSG promoting Golds Factory now puts the fire under G-Fields butt to bite back with some new models Many of us have placed orders for Golds putters in recent, Its going to be pretty exciting when they all land in our hands. Guys thank you for supporting the brands that support TSG, It means alot to Jacque and I as well as the brands we are promoting.
  13. R's all the way, Mizuos best wedge ever! Also you can get the RunBird Logo on these cause its a new model.
  14. Remember Guys Pro Shop in some cases displays MAPP prices. If you are an active poster you send PM to me for special prices.
  15. We sell Roddio shafts! I will add it to the pro shop soon.
  16. Guys i must stress these clubs take a while to ship after an order is placed. Here are some questions people are asking me: Q: What is the difference between Golds Factory and Gauge Design Japan ? A: Sasaya worked for GDJ and is the person who designed these models GA00A, GA01A, by Tour Service Div. GF Q: Can I get a Tour Issue 01/01 custom shape etc.. A: Sure expect to wait 3-4 months and pay upward of 3-5k Q: If no two items are the same because its handmade can i request a thicker topline on a putter A: No, the putters are all CNC milled from 1 piece, he can hand grind it before the finish but not increase. Wedges, Irons, and putter options are all hand done Q: How much to have the Tour Stamp on the sole? A: 66.00 extra Q: How much to create my own custom insert A: 450.00 ( every material available ) Milling designs can be created. Q: How come only 2 models of putters A: He will have more or less at times. These are affordable and the other one off or custom built models cost a fortune Q: Is the quality better than Gauge Japan or Scotty Cameron A: YES! By far the quality of work is the best of any putter company in the world. If you think another brand is made better let me know.
  17. Yea G, I would say tinker more with shaft and specs than heads, todays drivers are all pretty much maxed out in technology. I think it was a mistake to sell the epon when perhaps another shaft could have set things up better than ever. Ozik tends to give a lower tight flight and is not known to add any extra distance. How did it go for you in TSgirls fitting threads?
  18. guys these were limited and have been sold out for a while now, I may have a box with several around here somewhere though.
  19. Yes the ones that have the G-Field on the toe are conforming. the ones with the red G-field logo are not.
  20. Irons no, they are done by hand its the putters that use the same tooling.
  21. Great Post D! Only 11 pcs of that driver were ever made. Its a foamed head with muted feel and holds the center of the fairway better than most. You will get a lower trajectory than one would expect from a 10.5. If you liked the J340 or ol 975D's feel at impact this is club is for you.
