  1. They are still in my bag most of the time as well. More forgiving than the MP30 thats for sure but setup and feel are unmatched. Make sure to set your club specs to your lie angle, length and swing weight, dont do that if your in the middle of a swing change!
  2. Get them now before they are gone and even harder to get! Limited Edition from Japan the only Pure Forged club from Taylormades R7 line up. This design is based off of the 300 forged and enhanced even further! 3 - PW 1199.00 + 65.00 Shipping 4 - PW 1050.00 + 65.00 Shipping 5 - PW 899.00 + 65.00 Shipping NS950 Stiff X100 S200
  3. we sell GeoTech, drop me a PM. its a component company owned by Tom Wishon.
  4. Its obvious you know what your talking about as my initial findings are showing almost identical results. Somthing you should factor in is the flex. I tried the code 6 in stiff and it didnt feel as good as the R. it is also known in most cases that a lower kicking softer shaft that a player can handle will feel better than a mid/high kicking shaft that is a bit to stiff. The price on the Code 6 is a good value per shaft but its the TP-7, TP-7x, and Altus that dont perform for their price. more info to come, if we do the golf labs test it will cost a lot of money so those who are interested in supporting this test drop me a PM. With your donation you can come down to southern cali and take part of the testing at golf labs along with the golf lab swing bot, which makes the iron byron look like an antique and player testing with all the latest gadgets and a format by GL.
  5. I have to much spin on approach shots so i found these balls to be pretty darn good. Its built for the lower swing speed and doesnt feel as nice as other high end soft cover balls but performance is there but i cant say i shot a better score using this over my usual.
  6. This is no big official TSG test, it just myself and whoever i can get to give us feedback on a launch monitor with certain shafts. All shafted with Epon 460 heads in 10.5, all setup at D2 44.75" long. As of now i have only tested the TP-7 R flex, Code 6 Stiff flex, and the Mach Line 7080 SR flex. I have a 7 handicapper coming in tommrow to help out also. Based on my customer feedback of BSG/TSG'ers people dont see the performance value in the Ozik, I am also considering having Golf Labs in California doing an independant test.
  7. I agree Z101 is a classic, more forgiving than the MR-23 and a design we could see soon in the bridgestone line up.
  8. we have a set or two in the U.S if that is a major concern for you. Usually in the U.S only Alaska and Hawaii's gets caught with duties and customs.
  9. All new G-Field Drivers, FW, and UT's are coming near the end of the year. also EPON has a couple of things in the works.
  10. I called Mitsubishi Japan and was told November 3rd.
  11. Not sure only time will tell. The blade market is pretty small. I personally find no reason in playing a muscle back now days with so many great players CB's on the market. If their was an EPON blade what model MB would you like it to resemble most?
  12. no official bag yet but here is a prototype pic i had in the archive.
  13. Feels different, different design, different finish and overall different clubs. Endo doesnt equal Endo, I could say why not some of the Callaway, or Titleist because they are made by Endo. About 50% of the top tier forged designs with complicated features are made by endo because they can do it. Endo also sells pre-forged product to other factories that build golf clubs. EPON is the only premium golf brand ENDO 100% owns. hope that makes sense, if you have any questions let me know.
  14. Its a tad lighter and gives you a more head heavy feel. no real kick to the shaft as some may expect from graphite.
  15. Thats what all high quality shaft OEMs tell ya. The goal is to make sure the shaft plane is parallel to the face plane of the club. It doesnt hurt doing this and actually ads some piece of mind when you know it will kick down the line. Hand wrapped in bangladesh like Axiv, or hand wrapped in Japan i would do this to all of my shafts. If there were specific instructions on why not to, I would be interested to hear them.
  16. have your club maker do a flat line oscilation and mount the spine at 3 o'clock.
  17. You are on the money, You can learn to hit a softer shaft but cant hit a shaft thats too stiff. I was on the zelocity and noticed with every shaft i thought i should be playing based on my swing speed I was wrong. Swing speed is not the best way to figure out flex. Its a variety of things but IMO what would help most of the guys on the forum is tracking their head speed through different points, before, during, and after impact. I saw guys on the mini tours playing X flex losing head speed at impact, at stiff flex staying the same and at R flex tipped gaining head speed. Thats the whole emotion of the shaft, to gain head speed and kick. These mini tour guys would not play R or S due to Ego, its sad but the remedy was putting a shaft label over the flex or scratching the letter out. I swing at 100-103mph and use R flex, I have seen guys who hit 108mph and need R, no matter how many customers i tell this many say " I think i should get the stiff flex " I then ask why, and its always the same reason. because R is too whippy. its become a standard format ego excuse imo. All i can say is ok, but if you have the chance get on a launch monitor with somone trained in operating them and give me all the data. A good fitting takes about an hour+ and you should recieve multiple print outs.
  18. I shouldnt have to explain this but i see so many people going the wrong direction in regards to club testing and fitting. Guys are buying brand new sets of clubs ( Good for me! ) hitting the 6 iron or PW at the range and deciding if they make it into the bag based on that alone. That is the worse way to test clubs period due to many variables, one would be the type of swing you have on that day, the matt vs the turff, the clubs original specs, length, lie, shafts, grip size, etc.. If you guys are going to spend top dollar for the set and shipping, give it at the least 3 full 18 hole rounds on the course you know, In my case a set i want will always get the swing weight, lie angle, lofts, and shaft + flex sorted then 4 rounds of golf. If not, your wasting your time and money. You could be learning about your swing, distance gaps and fitting specifications and doing it the proper way instead of not. Ever wonder why the component guys are so happy with their clubs? its cause they get fitted and have their sets built to their swings, thats over 50% of performance. So why spend big bucks, hit the stock setup and sell it off? I see many guys on forums who use i.e Tour Concepts 1/2" long at D3 yet they are testing irons with S200's 1/4" short at D1 saying its not a good set of irons or it didnt make the bag... see what im saying here? When im standing there watching they will wonder why they top the ball more often :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: You will never get to know the clubs you purchased if you keep hitting them in a configuration you know isnt yours. Dont even bother buying them if this is the case. In a couple of weeks TSG will be able to offer all shaft options for every Japanese brand, any specs also. We needed to do this as many of you gents only know how to buy new clubs not test them to better your game. Sorry for the rant guys, its truth.
  19. More options, the 460MX looks really easy to hit. Coming December.
  20. Now this one looks like a good iron for me. Not to small not to large.
  21. A new deep face version of a very solid driver. For the low to mid capper this would be a better option than the XD imo.
