  1. Does anyone know of any other Miura forged Titleist Irons? I hear these Miura T-###/500 Irons are the only ones they did. Here is an image of the T stamps easily found and pretty abundant on ebay, which some people may confuse with the rare Miura forged version in my images:
  2. Here it is guys the "REAL DEAL" This set of Irons is NOT the T stamps you see everyday on ebay that were released in the U.S. These are the Japanese release to special agents only Tiger Woods Miura Forged Irons 2-PW same setup he used to use when sponsored by Titleist. It originally came in a cherry wood box with a letter from achushnet Japan and a photo of tiger "SIGNED" for 5000.00! Sold out in a matter of days! I acquired this set in Japan in 8 of 10 condition and had it refinished by Kyoei Japan in chrome. This is set # 127 of 500 produced for the Japan market. The U.S. T stamps were a limited release by Acushnet USA that had the same grind as retail and were forged by Nelson. The set you are now looking at is Miura Forged 100% authentic with the same grind tiger actually played.
  3. The new MB2 by Gauge Japan is not a blade, first off it has a cavity on its back and second its the most forgiving players cavity I have ever hit. I wasn't expecting my NC-1s to be in jeopardy but they now are. Both the NC-1 and MB2 have the same shape but the MB2's top line is 1mm thinner which makes for the perfect combo set. But I'm starting to think I don't need to combo them because the long irons are dumb easy to hit. These are forged and made entirely in Japan and the quality is apparent. I havent had much course time with my MB2's yet but I have had several days of testing them at the grass range against the NC-1's. Its a toss up. The MB2's setup slightly more player with the exact same shape yet maintains all the goodies that I loved so much about my NC's. What I really wish is that more people had the chance to try the last 3 models of Irons by Gauge Japan. 95% of the people who try them with their favorite shaft swear by them and will stick with GD from then on out. I cant think of a better Iron that has ever been available not even the MR-23's or the Miura forged TM 300's are in the same league. This is just my opinion but if you ask the knowledgeable folks here like Aluinser, Taipanli, Plus1, Dcc14, and Jack0428 they will tell you the praise that GD Japan irons deserve. I know I sound like a broken record but its my Honest and whole hearted opinion. Big Time Kudo's to GD
  4. In about 2 weeks you will be able to do a whole lot of new things
  5. M.W is playing the 757 again. She has been for a while.
  6. No shipping is about the same, the difference isnt that much dispite how large it looks.
  7. Plus1, I dont think you understand his post, he is saying dont buy the one or the balde because now his scotty is in the garage collecting dust. See how he says " Once bitten you cant let go " and " hope your budget is ready" It sounds just like you after buying your first gauge putter.. :money: I had to read his post twice but now I understand it, Of Course IMO the Balde and One are the finest Ansers ever made.
  8. Hey Joe, Bling Bling! Do these blind others in the sun? What are the specs on this shaft?
  9. I can think of a few better options on the market for you today. The Fourteen TB-1000's are cast yet pretty forgiving, I would say just as forgiving as the MP-33's. The RC Pro forged are a Japan closeout model, not even the RC staffed players on the JPGA took a liking to. If it must be blade like, you know my first choice would by far be the MB2's. If not those try some custom mizzy 33, 37 or 32's. If you feel like you got big time skills try the X-Blade2. If you are set on one of those two sets you have mentioned go with the TB-1000's, cast yes but they still felt good at impact and I would consider them a Neo blade with a lower center of gravity than most other MB's.
  10. I do! I am now playing the W505 and loving it, The feel off the face when a pure shot is struck is amazing, Its not exactly muted while it doesnt feel anywhere near cheap and hollow. It is very easy to hit with its large deep face its gotta have the largest sweet spot I have hit on a driver under 440cc. The W505 is 420cc's and I also like how the sole is not a chrome finish so the driver holds up very well not showing scratches. Mine almost looks brand new after many rounds. I highly suggest this driver in USGA conforming or High Rally spec. I play the HR version but our great member Taipanli plays the USGA model and Im pretty sure he is still raving about his after having it since release. Here are some images for you:
  11. Ok Plus1, You send Ari your heads! That way I dont have to send him mine! Ari, Id like an exact duplicate of the GAS1 Forged in Satin with the RAW face and 5 CNC milled sharp grooves. The Satin must be the Ishi Japan Satin and I need 53* & 58* lofts. About how long will this take?
  12. I dont know Ari, ya know the rules are different there. It would be nice to know, can you help us figure that out? BTW are you able to do a Japanese brushed satin wedge where only the face rusts?
  13. Oh its big! Very Big! and what a great time we have had in recent on TSG talking about XXL putters. Well here is another one, Its the new Scotty Cameron 42" red X!! They should call it the Red XL. Also take a look at this funky Circa 62 putter!
  14. Notice not only the difference in head size and shape but the 3 different shaft locations...
  15. Taken from http://www.tmaginsider.com/?p=157%20It In little more than a year-and-a-half, TaylorMade’s r7 quad driver has been used to win more than 50 professional tournaments around the world. An amazing accomplishment. The 50th win, coincidentally, was achieved by TaylorMade-adidas Tour Staff pro Ron Streck. A coincidence because Ron was the first player to win a professional tournament – the 1981 Houston Open – while using a TaylorMade metalwood. To commemorate the 50th victory, TaylorMade-adidas president and CEO Mark King presented Streck with a specially made gold-colored r7 quad in a ceremony at TaylorMade-adidas headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif. Streck called his connection with TaylorMade “emotional” because of the many people he knows who were with the company during its early years and who are still with the company, including King, executive vice president Sean Toulon and senior director of media relations John Steinbach. Reminiscing, Streck recalled his introduction to TaylorMade, when company founder Gary Adams approached him on a practice range in 1978. “I was sitting on the end of my bag, which had the logo of a famous golf equipment company on the side. Gary asked me how much they paid me to carry their bag and I told him nothing. He said, if I match that, will you carry mine?” A year later the first TaylorMade drivers were ready for play, and Streck tried one at the 1979 Tournament of Champions. Concerned it would stand out too much he painted it black and wrapped the ferrule with whipping, to “disguise” it as a persimmon wood. Yet there was no hiding the superior performance. With his first swing he bounced a ball off the back fence of the range, and that from poor lie. “The compact head shape and smooth sole made it look like a great fairway club to me,” said Streck, “so I dropped in a divot hole to see what it could do. I was amazed.” He put it in his bag as a 3-wood, but eventually started using it from the tee because he hit it longer than his driver.
  16. Only 2 available, one is went on ebay today and the other is 299.00 shipped!
  17. None of these have any fill. You would need to add your own which takes only a minute. true! what is the putter n the NEO thred then.....the comparisson pic? The putter in the neo thread is the original " Balde ".
  18. Sorry, none. As for now it is simply a rumor.
  19. I really cant say until I hit these. They look like the ViQ's in concept only but im sure they are much much different. The difference IMO would be a thinner topline, less offset, thinner sole and less bulk in the top back portion. Only the rear portion is maroon, it is similar to the 2004 XD365 that had this same color accents on its sole.
  20. None of these have any fill. You would need to add your own which takes only a minute.
  21. The XD and XST are some of the few on the market that are actually geared from the start for a pro or better player. They have a higher C.O.G than others and an ACTUAL loft that measures to stated. This all means it will go lower than what you are used to in a 15*. They all play neutral and lets hope they keep it that way with the new hybrid X-UT.
