Done with club builders (nothing against them) - need your help though
Do you have a 3rd car garage or somewhere to put your stuff? BUT in the end you gotta like to do this sort of thing, Even though I'm very capable of doing the work myself I find Irons are such a pain in the ass I rather pay someone to do it for me. I've got a mitchell lie/loft bender, putter lie/loft bender for cheap if you wanna swing by vegas and pick it up. There are a lot of other little parts you need as well. Don't buy all the stuff then find out you don't want to spend the time to build clubs. Figure that out first and best way is to build 14 clubs in 1-2 days to full specs loft/lie/length/swing weight/grip size/... The appeal may wear off after that when you imagine how often you change clubs and you will have to do this.

Torn between Wedges !!
A 64* should have trailing edge grind. The channel grind or sole divot removes the highest point or peak of the sole which helped us keep the leading edge closer to the ground. this is ver important in making the wedge perform better on firm conditions while having a design well suited for soft as well.

Would make great base for Gold's Mods !!
These hold a special place in my heart as both are when I used to live in Japan and both of these I travelled 45 min by train each way picked them up in person and took them home to sell. I was maybe 23-24 at the time. GA001H is the retail version of the Hoshino-pro putter shape, the Tour used to cost 1000 bucks, in fact both these used to be 1k. Back story on the 88 in the cavity is that it originally was two H H's but Hoshino's agent came in and bitched about it and wanted money for using his initials so G.T added extra dots. Sasaya-san left Gauge 2 years prior to this.

Torn between Wedges !!
One more thing, on Seven we are just about sold out of everything only some custom finish and prototypes left. The original first run wedges purchased will never be produced again the exact same way, I'm always making little adjustments not to say whats next is better but just different. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad and I'm not doing this on purpose I'm just evolving things. Seven has models that sell out before we even post pics of it. For example last week a new grind wedge 20pcs arrived and they all sold I've only got my personal set to take photos of and while we are producing more again there will be slight adjustments to it so those who have the yet to be named wedge temporarily known as "aggressive grind" congrats. My intention was to hold them, shoot photos, add to website then market and sell but we sold out of the original so I had to offer something. So I guess the good news is these are already gone so they don't add to the OP's wedge confusion: Bad is that these are already gone. ** Aggressive Grind has extreme heel and toe relief as well as a grind channel in the center of the sole, it has a lot less trailing edge relief for all lofts, it's conforming grooves unlike the original wedges and this is a satin finish exclusive to SEVEN that has a bit more lustre/gloss look to it but also feels slightly firmer at impact. The neck is just ever so slightly different than the original as well.

Honma Blades TW727M
Full write up is in the blog, to make it quick these are nice, had them a long time now they are in between TourStage & Epon in terms of feel, overall more rounded appearance, seems more shallow in face and neck height, love the neck transition, love the Vizard IB105 shaft ( high kick w/ metal fibers in tip ) My set is not this one it's a combo set in custom black nickel plating done by Sakata. The #4 iron and #8 iron are some of the most pure feeling shots I've had, the #4 was off the tee on a par 3, the #8 has been replicated many times usually while sitting up in the rough and catching it clean. I shouldn't play blades but these make the pain worth it. I've hit S200 & VizardIB105 for sure a difference in feel between the two I suggest the carbon if you are like me and should be playing a CB just seems to be more user friendly.

Don't forget Crazy, imo A-Grind & Crazy perform and feel at the same level. Cold Forged Vokey is no slouch either!

Recommendation for 85g Graphite Iron Shaft
There's a new Crazy STP85 in Stiff Flex I'm testing and will post on next week. Stepped carbon high-end shaft that Crazy paid top dollar to purchase the patent.

A-Grind Utility Wood Images
Many of these sold in the last couple weeks and all shipped quickly. I've hit mine a round, let a friend borrow it who won't give it back.. Before I say what I think about it, I'd like to hear what those who have bought one think first :)

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
I don't think so but hard to tell with two different shafts, A-Grind felt more pure metallic to me over the T388's foam like thwack. I would guess head vs head the A-Grind has a touch more spin and higher launch but because of the Crazy shaft the result was a touch lower and stronger flight with more roll.

A-GRIND Classic Driver vs T388 by S-Yard
Having hit both now I'm in love.... with both! So many of us have owned a T388 and it will go down as one of the best ever small headed drivers. It's mute, almost feels foamed, very straight with low spin and a fairly soft feel with dull thwack sound to it. A-Grind Classic Driver has got everyone intrigued, many have sold and I'm glad to inform you guys it's pretty awesome and very different than the 388 and while feel is always subjective this is a more soft metal feel less muted than the dull thwack of the 388. My A-Grind Classic has the Crazy Type B in it, the T388 stock shaft and side by side distance is equal so in other words not super long but still long. I would say both have very very similar performance characteristics and where they differ is in feel and looks. Feel is for each to decide but for looks A-Grind wins by a hair imo but of course we all have different eyes. with the different shafts trajectory of the A-Grind was more penetrating imo, more roll, and tighter but thats prob because two different shafts.

OnOFF Kuro Iron & Wedge
Hi Sir, Welcome to the site, it's S20C not 1020C. The difference is S20C is from Japan, 1020C is not although they are both almost identical. japan designation is S##C. There is no such thing as 1023C just like there is no such thing as 1018...:)

Crazy Wedges
Do all of you above have the CCB104 Wedge or the Prototypes? Both are excellent imo.
-
Crazy Wedges
It's been a while since we visited the topic of Crazy Wedges. There is always a waiting list on these, TSG has been buying all of their stock for years now. CCB104 wedge is almost forever gone. Prototype will go on but only 2-3 sets of 52/58 per month. haven't had good pics of these in a while.

Newer TRPX Shafts 2014/2015 releases
I'm very familiar with both, the CRAZY UT is sold out in my flex and has been for ages. Only X is in stock still. I love this shaft. The difference between the two is apparent, Crazy is stiffer, more boardy, more accurate. TRPX is near perfect its in many weights, but it's feels really nice in the proper flex, still accurate a little more distance but hard to tell with different heads.

Black Boron Bridgestone MB's by TSG Club Works
This is Black Boron, it's plated so it does not wear at all. I personally prefer our black oxide, just a really clean finish but it will wear and it feels softer than black boron. BB makes the club feel a touch firmer than satin does, BO ( black oxide ) is softer because it's a coating. Looking at the pics I would have done the large B in silver paint and Forged in Red.

2015 Epon Zero Driver
It should still be very nice IMO, it will feel good and for sure looks good but what's needed is the explanation of why? I buy Japanese for the Quality & Technology. Epon has the Quality but not the technology. Think Casio G-Shock MR-G Watch, be that way with anything and dominate. Relying on the brand name to carry sales won't last forever without innovation. As JDM grows and golfers become more discerning they learn that technology does matter and sell! Truth is when you cut epon drivers open they are empty and rely on the material, weighting, and CG placement, nice it's still the fundamentals of golf but so much more can be done and at the very least explain the why. This is precisely why many OEM's have left Endo, the lack of advancement in wood technology "especially in Adjustability" and use of new tech in various ways to reduce and distribute weight creatively. So what we have seen from Epon is the same tech in different shapes and CG locations for many years now. They have nailed the looks part down, but it's time they play catch up with tech. Unfortunately it's already too late. The term used by my engineer friends is "unwillingness to adapt" and that has led their customers to go elsewhere. The tech comes from the OEM level, not the factory but when the factory doesn't invest in the tools and tech to produce the customers desire they go elsewhere like overseas... and then the focus shifts to Technology over Quality which we don't want. It needs to strike a balance. FYI Epon & Endo are operated completely separately, it's hard to tell who exactly is at fault for the lack of innovation but I will say Honma and Maruman are still cranking out some sweet tech at Endo which leads me to its Epon who's the weak leg in design. Endo is still my favorite iron factory for mass made but IMO paying handmade prices for mass produced clubs is outrageous. What Japan has over any factory in the world is grinding which can't be bought or designed it's years and sometimes generations of skill/talent/practice handed down that creates that so if I were giving advice to Endo again it would be to absorb Japan's best asset and incorporate it into creating the best products in the world. Will that happen? Never they want someone who works for peanuts with no attitude doing a robotic task repetitively and let me tell you these grinders have attitudes, each one is quirky and unique in his own ways so I understand these are not the easist folks to employ.

Interesting ONOFF Prototype Wedge
We will see, got them on the way.

2015 Epon Zero Driver
Yes that's exactly it. Basically they are trying to push their new shaft really hard.

Endo forged irons
TC1000 as in the cast version? Castings can be mushy as well.
