I arrive in Tokyo on the 18th at 6am, leave early on the 23rd. I have ordered a JR Pass. I plan to take the shinkansen down to Kyoto on either the Saturday or Monday, just for the day. I should be looking at some golf courses on the friday. Otherwise got some holes to fill up. Thursday I thought I would go shopping / exploring. Really want to go to a good golf store. Also want to go to the elctric district / look at cameras. I am praying the Sakura is about and plan to visit some temples. Is there any hot springs near tokyo? Would love to do that. The main thing I want to do is go to a nice japanese golf shop in tokyo! Thanks

Best Course you played on in 2008 Was fortunate enough to play lots of top courses, interned at Trump International in West Palm Beach for 9 months! and was fortunate enough to play it as much as I like, so this would have to be my #1 for the year 9played inverness, sawgrass, Trump national, visited Oakmont, vallhalla) - but Trump International is my pick! Best shot you made in 2008. Sadly no holes in one or the like, but I think my best shot was at Trump national, was visiting for one day and was lucky neough ot be given a guided tour for 3 hours before playing! I went to the first and there was a Greenkeeper working by the green, I drove the ball into the fairway bunker, about 215 to go, over a creek, with a person standing about 10 yards away from my target. I pulled out my trusty tourstage u3 and hit it excatly how I wanted, sadly I lost it midair (it was right into the sun) - so I shouted four! and the guy ducks and covers, my ball lands on the green about 3' from the pin I walk up and the greenkeeper is laughing and I knock the putt in. Best Pro player in 2008. Harrington, not 'JDM' lol but he is the man at the major-moment (granted he sucked in the Ryder Cup)

I still like my maru spec 8 degree driver........can't beat a small head ;)

what makes the club a defecT? thanks Just bought one of ebay...but was with a shaft so can't measure head weight, there is a slight blemish on the tourstage logo on the sole and another where the sole and blakc paint meet by the conforming note - jsut hit it and it feels a mazing

Getting a Xdrive 430p 9.5 with the TOUR DESIGN QUATTRO TECH 65S SHAFT I currently use a bridgestoen j33 P 8.5 with a fujikura 757 tourspec Xs Was wondering what difference I should expect, kinda hit the ball high enough already so I am hoping my new baby ain't gonna ballon to much ( was possibly thinking about sticking the 757 in the 430p....) tips / advice?

btw, it come with a head cover? if so will up my bid to 475 :)

my x ut has a nspro utility shaft and it just goes up and carries a mile ( got a u3 though) - was tempted to get the U1 with the same shaft - thinking it would be a monster!

Numpty here decided to take the head cover of his Bridgestone J33P (due to it being saturated by the rain) - and then proceeded to smash a 7 iron into the driver when removing it form the bag. now I have a huge 20mm 'ding' out of the crown and thought I would try get the head refinished in a custom colour - does anyone know of a uk based comapny that coudl do this? thanks!

I used to use baldes, breifly used original nc1s, just got some forged tps taylor made and I am in love, best clubs I have ever owned......shame they have stopped making them :( (may be able to pick up a cheap set?)

I love my x-ut, really really love it, got a 3 iron one, thinking about getting a 2 or 1 iron....not sure though - as my 3 is my go to club - and if I had more options........ Looks simliar to the sonartec md, but I owned one of those and it plan sucked....
