  1. The Czechs make the best pilseners. Czechvar is the best of the best.
  2. Mighty interested. Which shaft does this set have? Thx, Bob
  3. Hand built and CNC milled from fine carbon steel in Japan, Gauge Desugn putters are highly sought after. This one is an Eldik M, 34", with the original factory cover. There are three tiny nicks along the bottom edge with one near the toe. The headcover has a little tear about 1/8" in length. Retail on this putter was close to $350 in the USA. $159 U.S. shipped but a deal must be made by Thurs. Aug 3/07. The club will ship via UPS Ground. My eBay ID is mgdcanada. Thank you.
  4. Pics attached. eBay rating under mgdcanada SOLD, please close.
  5. For references my eBay ID is mgdcanada.
  6. I've got an interesting 2-Ball that came off the Odyssey tour Van via our rep. It is a long putter head on a regular shaft. The head is quite heavy(guesing about 360-375 grams) and is 4* upright. 35" long, a brand new GP cord putter grip and 2-ball White Steel headcover. All are in mint condition. $75 U.S.. shipped.
  7. New price of $350 U.S. without the hybrid. Bargain!!
  8. Bump. New pic's of the full set available . Offers?
  9. This is killing me as I looked for this set for 10 years, BUT I am not 35 anymore so.......................... 3-PW made by MacGregor for Cobra during Norman's great run in the early 1990's and modelled from the legendary 985 Silver Scot head, these are stunning. Rifle 6.5 shafts with new Whisper grips. A few small flecks of chrome are missing off the top edge of the 7-iron and there is a little sweet spot browning on the 9, 7, 5, and PW. Otherwise a solid 8/10 and well worth the asking price. Pics are available via email. The House of Forged in California wants $795 U.S for their set. Buy mine for $465 U.S. shipped and I will include a new, slightly used Tour Edge Tour model 19* hybrid, stiff Nippon 950 shaft and Whisper grip, with headcover. $400 without the hybrid. May trade for OEM graphite shafted irons.
  10. And how do you know that for "sure"?
  11. Excellent TP 2FW, 14*, "S" flex Vista Pro 90, new Tour Velvet Midsize, 8/10, range ball marks on face with normal sole scratches. $137 shipped in Canada or the lower 48. Pictures available to serious buyers only if you email me at [email protected]. Will trade in Canada only for a very good 15* V-Steel in "R" flex or similarily conditioned/flex Titleist 980 15*. PayPal only please.
  12. The driver is sold. Thanks to all. An excellent driver that is too stiff for my aching bones. The crown is flawless while the face and sole show the usual wear. It has the new Grafalloy Comp NT 65S nanotech shaft in "S" flex, playing at 44.75", 268CPM, with a new Lamkin Dual Density grip. Headcover included. A stock photo is available and mine is just as good. My eBay ID is mgdcanada and I have 135 positive ratings, A great head with a stunning shaft which retails for almost $320 U.S. prebuilt, yours for $165 U.S./$199 Canadian shipped, PayPal please. Will trade in Canada only for the best recent OEM "R" flex driver offered. Thanks! Bob
  13. GAT for sure. I hit some Titleist 762's in both DG S-300 and "S" GAT and the distance was identical.
  14. The "finger" was hardly necessary as we are discussing golf equipment not personal relationships. Yes, Titleist is somewhat market specific but I guarantee you that if they had made a 440-460cc driver many of the Ping, Cleveland et al buyers would have bought Titleist but they could not. Cobra has been very succesful considering they were almost left for dead about six years ago. Fortune Brands has done an admirable job with that product line and I am sure the new 905's will sell quite well in the beginning as did the 983 Series. Every year the market becomes more intense and the window of opportunity is shorter.
  15. "Lets use a little common sense here everyone" Good idea and here is some for you. I can tell you most assuredly from selling perhaps 225-275 drivers over the last two years, that the average Titleist retail customer will not even sniff a Cobra driver. Why? He considers Cobra a second tier division that is not in the same rarified atmosphere as Titleist. These players have increasingly purchased Ping G2's and Cleveland 460's because their preferred company has been slow to respond to marketplace trends. I am only telling you what they are telling me.
  16. Then, they would be admitting that they are behind the curve which is not their style.
