  1. I have a partial set of CB-301's in excellent condition. I have 6-PW w/Nippon 1150 Tour stiff flex shafts, Orange GP Decade Multicompound grips installed. Standard length, loft, lie adjusted 2* up by previous owner. Pics available upon request. $455 shipped US firm. These were built by Chip Usher (chipandputt.com). I've been quoted $150 each to add the 4i and 5i. Total investment would still be $300+ less than new. Brian
  2. I'm currently playing MR-23 CBs, but am holding my MP-60s and J33 CBs in reserve when more forgiveness is needed. I'm assuming that you don't want to stray too far from the look and feel at address you're used to. The J33 CBs will be closest in looks, slightly bigger, comparable offset, but with a firmer feel. For a moderately bigger clubhead, comparable offset, more forgiveness, soft feel, go with MP-60s. Any thoughts are going alittle softer flex in your MR-23s? The 23's just became my gamers, but I've played them in X100 and R300. The forgiveness factor between the flexes was night and day. There is alittle more play in the R300 shafts, which for me have created more confidence in the small head. Good luck. Brian
  3. Is it possible to get replacement ferrules through Epon or TSG? I've got an Epon coming, and the shaft may be changed out. I'd like to maintain the Epon look with the original ferrule. Brian
  4. Are these taper tip or parrellel? Still available? bp

    PM sent.
  6. Looking for a new or clean pull Diamana 83 R or S, untipped. Ion version preferred. I'm not interested in a TP pullout. Respond through PM. Brian

Go R-flex in the 63. Untipped, it's probably as close as you're going to get to the YS-6. bp
  8. Still have them, but was able to keep them. bp
  9. This is a "Moving" sale. Hadn't plan to sell these, but will need some additional funds for relocating out of state at the end of next month. This is a partial set, 4-PW, J33 Combo, Nippon 1050 Stiff, 37.75" 5i, Bridgestone Tour Velvet Grips, standard loft/lie. Nippon's custom install by one of our sponsors, Paul at Shreveport Golf. Paid $875 for these. Condition is 9/10 due to normal bag wear from 9 rounds of golf. $600 shipped US. Pics available upon request. bp

Can anyone explain the cpm and flex rating on the AXIV shafts? How are the cpm's measured? bp

I received my J33 Combos from Paul a little over a week/half ago. I had them setup as 4-PW w/Nippon 1050 S. I received them just in time to take them to the range a few days before putting them into competition at Myrtle Beach last week. Needless to say, 1 tourney win later, I'm very happy to report these are winners as well. I'm going to wait alittle while longer before posting a full review of these irons. But, I can say that there wasn't a single moment that I doubted this purchase. These are really great irons from Bridgestone. bp
  12. I believe that www.leaderboardgolf.com still has some of these available. Last check, these were $110. I've attached the link, but you might have to call to confirm stock. http://www.leaderboardgolf.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? Brian
  13. Is the ZCOM Six simply a rebadged version of the International Series Fuji Six? If not, what are the differences? bp
  14. I hope that you find one of these. I sat on a new MCC Matrix shaft toying with the idea of pulling the Gemini out of the backup bag to reshaft. The result is that I've sold 3 drivers in the past two weeks because this combination is just that good. I've even thought about buying the Gemini 460 now. Good luck. bp
  15. Shaft is currently installed in a R7 TP 10.5*. I'm going to have it pulled, so it will be available for sale. Specs: X-Flex, Mid Kick, 72 Gram, 2.8* Torque, GP Tour Velvet grip installed - $150 shipped US I'll listen to trade offers as well. No hurry to get rid of this. Brian

Jon, I'm interested to see how this pans out for you, as I'm looking for a shaft for a R7 TP 10.5* I just purchased. I have generally played well with the US GD models, but Fuji's have been hit/miss. I'll be looking for your feedback on this combination. BTW - What is your swingspeed? bp
  18. From Nippon Japan website - http://www.nipponshaft.co.jp/english/whats..._e_frameset.htm "N.S.PRO 950GH WF Series long irons combine easy swinging light weight with easy contact. Short irons feature advanced weight flow design to give users a slightly heavier feel for maximum stability. The result? The kind of swing that lets you maximize head performance. These shafts let you exploit your technical skills to the fullest. The only limits are your own capabilities." Pulled from Tourstage X-Blades, standard length 5i at 37.75". Tourstage cord grips installed. $115 shipped US. bp
  19. Japan only - Nike Ignite 380 9.5* w/Fuji Vista Tour 60 S, GP Tour Velvet grip. Excellent condition, older Nike headcover. $700+ new in TSG catalog. $350 shipped US. Pics available upon request. bp
  20. SOLD This would be a good partial set makeup for anyone already playing hybrid long irons. This set was fully blueprinted by Dana Upshaw (Internationally recognized Master Clubbuilder). Headweights, shafts, grips properly weighted. Spined/flowed shafts. Swingweight is D4. Mizuno MP-32 - 5-PW with Rifle 5.5, Golf Pride Tour Velvet (ribbed), botton scoreline painted for alignment aid. Mizuno MP-T Black Ni 51* and 60* (bent/ground to 57*) w/Rifle Spinner 4.5 - available if interested. Clubs in excellent condition, have not played a round, only range/indoor sim practice. Pics are available upon request. $400 shipped US for 5-PW. $600 for additional MP-T wedges. bp
  21. I've owned both the MX23 and MP32 irons. Both were installed with Rifle 5.5 shafts. MX-23 - more forgiving, higher ballflight, slightly firmer feel MP-32 - forgiving for a blade, slightly thicker topline than other blades, mid-high ballflight MX-23's are very underrated, but a very solid performing forged cavity back design. If I could do it again, I'd go back to the MX-23's. They seemed to keep the sloppy rounds away. bp
  22. Well, I took the plunge and purchased this club. I can say that this combination, on the launch monitor, increased in carry distance from 227 yds to 243 yds. The feel is Titleist solid, but very explosive off the face. The shaft length is ideal at 44", which also attributed to more center face hits, also increasing my carry distance. This club won't soon leave my bag, but I hope that my Nak 380 will keep up so that I don't feel guilty about using the Nike during regular, non-competitive rounds. Aside from the Fourteen Hi660 I bought for $8 at 2nd Swing, this is the next biggest steal of the year for me at $250. bp
  23. I have an opportunity to purchase one of these drivers in excellent condition. I don't play competitive tourneys so I'm not concerned about it being non-conforming. I've found the best clubhead size for me is 380-400cc, and this has really caught my eye. It's shafted with a Fujikura Vista Tour 60. Any feedback? bp

I picked up a used MP-33 5i at the end of the season, thinking that I would use this club to better my ballstriking in the off-season. I put it in play a few rounds, and found that it provides the ideal (high) trajectory for me. I then demoed the MP-32 for a few rounds to compare. MP-33 - best feeling forged club that I've hit, high trajectory, less forgiving MP-32 - mid-high trajectory, more forgiving, more solid/controlled feel, slightly more confident at address due to thicker topline I ordered a custom set of MP-32, Rifle 5.5 (higher trajectory), painted alignment aid on the clubface (alignment/confidence). Just got them today, but haven't taken them to the range yet. Both clubs are winners, but most lower handicappers seem to chime in that the trajectory of the MP-33 is higher than desireable. These would have been my blade of choice if they were slightly less punishing than the 32's. Good luck. bp
