  11. got an x-drive 435 10.5* fitted with an ozik TP-7 S flex, playing at 45.5". thinking of selling it, in an easy 9/10 condition, but don't know what its worth. Any suggestions.
  12. i'll def take two if you have them.... send me a pm
  13. so i suppose what i'm saying that i've seen nippons pured, (same with ozik and axiv's which also don't need this process) and would suggest that some club builders are just either cashing in on the unsuspecting customer or are trying to get a return on their considerable investment in a puring machine. We need to be advised....
  14. i've been led to believe that Nippons are totally round so don't need to be pured/spined. Is this true

  16. this is a class driver with an amazing shaft... if only i didn't have 5 drivers already bj....

  18. don't do it Gareth.... you know you'll regret it! absolute top guy.
  19. ok guys here's the rub. i had always hankered after a set of x-tours and finally got a set that i thought would be perfect for me, brand new with TC shafts. Hit them once and felt the club bounce on the ground - couldn't take a divit properly. Was rummaging around plus1's clubs and found a set of Scratch oversized blades. compared them to the x-tours and the only differences were a slightly thinner top line and thinner sole. Took them to the course and they're now staying in my bag. Couldn't believe I'd ever be hitting blades. I suppose on reflection if the ground was very soft then the x-tours would be good.... but i could also really feel the difference in the forging - kinda surprised myself
  20. Guys, i've just played a round with plus1 and hit his Epon 460. I must say from the outset this is the nicest looking driver I've ever looked down on. Coupled with the exquiste feel off the face makes this the most complete driver I've ever used. Forgiveness and distance are ok, but like any other driver, it all depends on the shaft you couple the head with. His Axiv is an inspired choice.... once again, i find myself hankering for plus1's bag..... don't think i'll be getting this one for a long time.....
  21. Ok guys, got a good one here. A set of 3-PW heads only Tour Issued 695 MB's. You all know how these differ from the retails. For one, they're Endo forged and as soft as putty. They orignially came from Joe Kwok who can verify the authenticity of them. Originally issued to a top 20 money lister, I'll take $1000 shipped for them anywhere in the world.
  22. actually, to tell you the truth, i think i prefer the X.... bit like X-tours in profile don't you think.
