  1. Is epon able to custom a higher loft...say 11.5...I have a low ball flight with most drivers and need that extra loft to get best carry
  2. Just got it in the mail....will try to figure out how to use it but since my Japanese is very rusty can someone who has this and has used it or just got it but can read Japanese post general instructions and troubleshooting.... Thanks!!!
  3. Just received my new Tourstage Pro Caddy Bag in white and let me tell you its even nicer than the pics shown above... In addition its a very functional bag with pockets that for the most part make sense...some bags just throw pockets on top one another and stuff everywhere... It is also very sturdy especially with that base that is described on the TSG proshop Thanks to Chris, Jacque and TSG for the awesome bag...I am the envy of the guys I play with!!! ...now if I can just keep it clean!!! Help!

I have one of these purchased from TSG...it is an awesome club but mine does have a serial (lasered?) number on the hosel...the shaft is a silver black REAX 40 shaft (no plus wording in mine...) with wt 42, TQ4.6 and KP M which i the stock SR shaft... Someone recently told me that tour van models (at least he US ones) have an addtional lettering to signify them as tour van models (tv i think) but they still do have serial numbers... As gochin said...additional pics of different views of the club and even the shaft may be helpful...
  5. Is there a general standard for woods starting from driver thru 3 and 5 wood where there is stepwise progression for either CPM or flex or shaft weight or swing weight so that the woods feel and perform similarly or is it just totally by feel... And if so, does the progression then extend down to long irons Thanks
  6. Has anyone been able to try the new TM R7 XR driver out yet...and how it compares to other JDM drivers....
  7. Got a Tm 425 TP 10.5 with a x-stiff stock rombax shaft and its a tour van head with the specific serial number on the hosel...I like the feel but cant get the ball up with my swing...was looking to trade for something else but am considering the GFT... Wes
  8. Hey Chris These look deeper faced than other woods...is that true? Just ordered a set of the Fourteen SF206 woods which I cant wait to hit so dont think Ill be getting these just yet but man they look good.... wes
  9. I agree... the pricing and logistics to and from Japan would be more difficult than typical for other retail stores...I even forgot about insurance for possible damage... I know at say Nevada Bobs they let you demo one iron from a set usually...a 5, 6 or 7 iron...I would gather that one iron may be enough to just an ideal of the feel...but im sure its not a great substitute for trying out a whole set or more...but I bet even a single iron demo would be helpful for some...at least make it easier to pull the trigger and purchase... It was just a passing thought Chris...i think regardless of demo or not many of us HOs would still sink in the "kitchen sink" for that perfect set of forged import irons or new driver!!! Wes
  10. Looking to buy a set of Gauge NC-1 Handmades...hopefully in close to mint condition if possible...
  11. Just a thought for Chris...although im sure someone has already brought this up.... No doubt there are a number of great import clubs available as evidenced by the many posts here...but as well all are aware they do require a fairly sizable money commitment... Has TSG ever considered having demos for rent similar to other pro-line golf shops...obviously the rental price would be much higher to account for shipping to different destinations and logistically it would require work to track...and return shipping to TSG once finished would need to be worked out but I bet a lot of people would be willing to pay a bit to try out one the latest forged models before sinking a chunk of cash to buy these wonderfully crafted irons... I gather this may have been discussed before however... Not sure what others might feel or if its even feasible at the moment... Wes
  12. Hey Got one here...its a pull out shaft...just could not hit it... W-60 stiff...44" with grip...
  13. sorry for the delay plus1.. my computers been on the blink... I love the type x irons alot...easiest irons to hit that ive tried...even compared to cast game improvement irons...at set up its not as bulky as those cast irons so it looks great...I gather the type j will feel softer as they are more like true blades...i have mine set upright 2 degrees from their standard specs and have NS 950s reg flex in them as i dont swing that hard...ballflight is quite high...moreso than other sets but not really a balloning type flight...which is why they have the lofts stronger than what id call standard. Distance is on perhaps half a club or a bit more longer...again due to the stronger lofts...The only thing i needed to do after I got them was to add a bit of lead tape to the wedge and short irons as the swing weight was a bit light for my feel...right now they sit at around D2...I dont try to work my irons as much as others as I just try to hit them straight and these irons do not disappoint in that respect...but I think you can work them a bit but probably not as much as the J... Great set for those who want forged feel yet very forgiving cavity back performance...cant see getting anything else anytime soon...
  14. YW Chris...Rusty is a cool guy and does great work in my opinion. I hope it works out for all...
