Hey Jack, The 5 iron loft is 24. Yes, this 8 series from honma is simply beautiful. I can't stop staring at them and makes my eyes glazed all the time. And I agree with your opinion on bettinardi putters. I have mine for 3 years now. I always upgrade my clubs almost every year but that's the only thing that I don't intend to upgrade in my bag. They are just so pure on putting and saves me alot of strokes. Scatch wedges I bought from Chris 2 years ago and they have a soft feel since they are forged. They are on the heavy side and slightly bigger than your normal wedge(which makes it more forgiving for me). My 56 raw is very accurate wedge, spin is low but does check the ball. As far as the 2 different colors, its just for me so I can easily tell which is my sand and lob w.

Thank you for the comments guys. As far as the Honma irons, I love them. The feel is amazing, it's effortless feel on impact. Forgiveness is also one of the main reason I went with this series. Its almost as forgiving as the callaway x-20 if not, better. The only thing I had to make a major adjustment are the loft of these clubs. IMO Honma made too much "+" on them that I'm getting 10-15 yds more carry than my normal distance. Their Pitching iron for instance has a loft of 43 compare to a normal 49. So, I have to order a gap wedge of 50 or 52 degree. Overall conclusion I don't think I will own another brand of irons other than honma. (it's like driving a BMW vs. FORD, CHEVY or CHRYSLER). They really put in alot of quality, detail and functionality for game improvement hence the high cost of the club. (which made me hide the receipt from the wife ). But I'm really glaaaad that this club is an improvement to my game and gives me confidence when I take them out of my bag. It makes it all worth the $$$. Now for the Callaway Hyper ERC, IMO, BEST driver I ever hit and I've tried almost all of em american made brands (incl my honma driver 400rf, TM, Titleist, Nike, Cobra, Ping, etc..) The Sound I don't have to tell you is unbelievable (ppl will look at you in the range) The feel is med. soft and the DISTANCE is where it pays off. I was a 250 to 260 driver now I'm at 280 on average and will carry to 300 with wind and roll. No, exaggeration on my part just my honest experience. Well that is it for now until I get more new stuff I will update.

  5. Where can I buy different weights for my r7. In the US it only comes with 2 and 10. I want to play around with it and I need to get 6, 8, 10 and 14.

Interesting and so I went on Honma's website and look at their sponsored pro's and saw only 1 out of 8 using Tour World. Majority of them are using the following: Men used 400rf or 420rf Women used MG410 Thanks for your input xxio.

I only saw this today and it looks sweet  but I wanted to know if any of you guys have tried it. I'm comparing it to the Honma TOUR WORLD driver. 808RF https://az.nifty.com/cgi-bin/shopgoodss.cgi...81&GNO=00000745 Tour World http://www.honmagolf.co.jp/product/tour_world.html Any input will be greatly appreciated.
  9. Awesome Pictures Chris !! What camera did you used, just curious? And I can't wait to get those items so I can lower my score :smile2:
  10. I just got my TS F-ST+ 13 deg. , PRGR Duo Hit 18 deg. and TM RAC 2U Driving iron in normal-spec from TSG (Chris). I will post my review soon but so far I had 1 round with the F-ST+. And here's my short term review: Distance - my ball goes 240-250yds (using Pro V1x). Ball flight - it has a low trajectory which is what I wanted. Forgiveness - Fairway or not you can hit this club from anywhere. Feel - Very solid and effortless to hit. Looks - Very clean and beautiful look. I will update with a seperate review as I put more rounds in em.

    Any pictures ....
  12. Site is faster Chris, the only thing I don't like is from the main page. When you select Catalog or Magazine I wish the main page will redirect rather than having 2 webpages open. Minor thing no biggie, props to you  on upgrading and all the updates you do everyday.
  13. Niiice.... thnx for posting the picture Chris. Now I won't be able to sleep :wah: I can't wait for your review on this club vs XXIO 400cc.
  14. Awesome, thanks for ranking em. I'm actually looking for a 5 wood (have a TS F-ST 3+ wood on order), do you think the DUO HIT be as good also or go with RC BBD H-type or NIKE T100 rescue?
  15. WELCOME to the GD fan club........... "Once you go GD you can't go back!"
  16. Just so happens I have all them fw, and all in thaqt order too, except the Cally is infront of the Nike. You are an official club ho... So, can you rank them?
  17. Which is better on a wedge: Square or Round face? (or is it more for looks only?)
  18. Wow, looks good and performs... what more can you ask  I want one Chris, I'll pm you. BTW, how does it compare to F-ST 5+ wood?

Chris, How does it compare to Maru MR-23 driver?
  20. Well I played 36 holes with my new set of GD cb's irons over the weekend and I'am very very happy with it. It is very forgiving, I hit the sweet spot most of the time and if I have a mis**t you don't feel that awful vibration on your hands. The feel is soft but a canon like when I hit the sweet spot. Distance: I gained an average of 10+ yds on every club compare to my TM rac LT's and Titty DCI 990. I will probably experiment with the shafts later on but for now I love the stiff NS pro shafts thats on it.
  21. $1150 from TSG (Chris) but I heard you have to wait coz it is back order. The guy only makes 100 - 150 sets a month and everyone wants one.
  22. Unfortunately I have not hit the i302's perhaps TSG (Chris) could give you a better comment on it. I just know that the XXIO line is the newer version and is very popular in Japan.
  23. Wow, no input yet ...??? :wah: Thank you for posting this topic Taipanli. I'm really in need of a 3 and 5 wood to replace my TM Vsteel. And these are the clubs that I'm seriously considering but just don't know which one to pick. I know the F-ST has been around and has had good praises from the members here. I also know that the NEW F-ST+(non-bore thru) is being tested but won't be available til' 05(can't wait that long). But the V-IQ is very new and technology looks very promising. So, if any of you have tried these clubs please post your experiences and thank you in advance. :smile1:
  24. Jack0428, what I meant by short is the "face" of the club not the length of the shaft. My Shaft is a Stiff NS-pro in standard length. And thank all for your compliments.
  25. Hubba..hubba :surprize: That's one nice looking driver. It reminds me of rice cars that has Carbon Fiber hood.
