  1. Wow, that's news to me...I always assumed they were a bit more but :surprize:
  2. I'm sure this has been discussed already at some point, but I'm wondering if anyone has messed around with this shaft. It's the one Phil used at the Master's (insert 'if he uses it, it must be good joke' here). I'm curious for any feedback on a graphite design shaft that's $250. Is it any good, or are they trying to create a high end shaft to compete with Fuji? Don't get me wrong, GD makes great shafts...but $250? Oh hell, gimme 3 of 'em! :money:
  3. R7 TP, without question from me.
  4. I always get a lot of crap for this, but I have GBB2 and they are very deep faced, maybe too much so, and they play a lot stronger than their lofts. As almost always though, a custom shaft is a necessity.
  5. It's a great idea I think, battle at a lower pricepoint...but geez they really give a new meaning to saturating the marketplace. I wonder if too many different lines could turn into a drawback for the company. I don't think its something to lose sleep over though.
  6. Maybe a stupid question, but they are doing this at the factory, or is this an aftermarket deal?
  7. What does it take to get ahold of the black 33's?? PLEASE tell, don't keep it a secret!
  8. I like tour velvet full cord with the reminder. Softtie cord with the taper are real nice too. I do like the feel of tour wrap and tour velvet, but they just seem to wear out a lot faster. Traditional Winn's are too squishy for me. The new arrows are a step in the right direction though.
  9. I really like Rile's stuff too, flighted, PX, even airlites. I even have spinners in my current wedges. For me though, its still garden variety Dynamic Gold. It's the cheapest, oldest, and heaviest stuff you can get, but I have not yet matched the feel with anything else.
  10. I emphatically agree. I thought I'd never change from the 510TP, but I tried a retail R7 to see what it was all about and I loved it. I ordered a R7TP in my specs the next day, still looking to sell my retail R7. I've said this before in other posts, and I'll say it again...I don't think its right to charge that much for any club. I'm lucky enough to not have to have paid for eithe of them. I know all the arguments 'you don't have to buy' and 'somebody must be buying' and 'what's wrong with makin' a buc?'. I just don't think it's right.
  11. God those are nice, I can't wait to try them! Thanks for the sneek peek!
  12. "Very flexible... 9-10.5* preferably, stiff shaft...preferably an upgrade as I don't like either OEM stock shaft" in the MP-001 I have several heads, 400cc and 370cc, with NV65 and Prolaunch. What specs do you prefer?
  13. Anything at all?? MP 001? Ignite? Anything!? what specs are you looking for in these heads?
