tee the ball up higher as suggested. i was very reluctant to do this, but caved in and not only got more distance out of my drives, but less ballooning and straighter drives.
also, try moving the ball further up in your stance. this will help you from hitting down on it and causing less spin.
what is you swing like? do you have an out to in path? this will cause more spin on the ball as well as a slice, which is naturally a higher ball flight.
i don't think it would be an equipment issue. these are solid drivers and solid shafts with mid to high kick points. i think a low kick point would hurt you.
