Hi, I know probably a long shot, but if someone might have one it would be here on this forum. I am looking for a TaylorMade Burner forged or Burner TP 4 iron. I would also consider other JDM Tm forged 4 irons. My Burner Forged 5 iron has 26* loft so looking for a 4 iron in the 23* range. Thanks for looking and please pm me with any offers.

Hi xxio, hope you're well. Judging by our past discussions of where you are at your game, it sounds like the Burner TP may line up better if looking for a player cb. I can't speak on the burner TP having never tried them, but I was lucky enough to track down a set of burner forged irons and currently game them as my main iron. T's review of the burner forged captures the irons pretty well. I was about to dismiss the burner forged as being too soft, too straight, and too high hitting when I first hit them at the range. I got more feedback and just as much distance from my set of Tourstage xblade 701 irons. I decided to stick with the burner forged irons though, because as T noted, they suit a mid capper profile very well. They have some workability, but the stock shot with these irons are just short of point-and-shoot. As for appearance, outside of potential issues with size of head, you would be hard pressed to name a better looking TM iron, including all of the Japanese TM forged offerings.

How did you win the irons? Congratulations. What shafts are in the heads? Funny that you're looking for burner forged irons. I have a set of burner forged irons coming this week and I am looking forward to giving them a go. The saqra irons look great, especially the muscle back.

Great looking irons. The layered muscle back and sole are slightly reminiscent of the milled Gauge Design neo muscle backs. Very much looking forward to reviews of the saqra iron

Can anyone comment on how high they hit their spoon? I just picked up a 15* with kai'li 60 stiff and hit it as high as my pitching wedge. It still gets out there a fair distance, but I can't help but feel I am leaving some distance on the table. This was my first range session with the egg so I just wanted to ask if anyone had similar impressions from their initial range session. I get the feeling that the 13* with a tighter shaft might be a dream stick for me, but I probably need some rounds with the 15* to know for sure.

Hi, looking to try a JDM hi cor driver...Nothing in particular in mind, but higher loft 10.5 or higher and regular flex would be a good start (would consider other flexes and lofts). Nike DFI, 983k h-cr, Taylormade Burner 860, R7 quad max, R7 xr, Callaway ERC, or hyper ERC would be examples, but would consider others. Not looking to spend too much or even better possibly trade for a driver, but I am open so please just pm me with any offers.

BB, let us know how that FT-9TH works out. I am trying to hold out for the FT-Tour, but I would like to know if the smaller head provides a more solid feel. One of my biggest regrets was letting go of a J340 that seemed to have a higher loft than others I had hit. The shaft wasn't special compared to the exotic shafts that get most of the publicity, but it would go forever. Not to mention it felt the closest to hitting a made from wood driver.

It seems like there is a trend moving toward smaller headed drivers. Just for kicks I brought out my Tourstage J340 on a recent round and now I don't know why I took it out of the bag. Not overly forgiving, but so so solid in feel. Anyone still have one? I've always wanted to find a 10.5 lofted j340, but could never find a way to know club loft. The ones I always came across never had a loft on the club. Is there any love for this legendary driver? Or was this club all hype?

Probably a long shot, but looking for a driver and/or fairway wood Tourstage headcovers. Dream set would be the pseduo patent leather set in White and Red or black and red to match my bag, but would consider any Tourstage headcover. In the alternative, I would also consider any jan craig, rocket tour style of headcovers in red/white or black/red color scheme. I have a set that has passed around a few hands on TSG. 52 and 58 copper x wedges that were tuned by Carl. It removes the finish, and rust spots can develop. Nothing that diminishes performance, durability, or feel in my opinion. There are pics under the WITB section if care to take a look.

Always loved the Tourstage drivers so looking to try out a 430P. Anyone have one they might want to trade or sell. Just pm me and hopefully we can work something out.

Sorry if I missed it, but are there any reviews of the 445 yet? Can a mid handicapper use this easier than the current versions 430/460 versions of the X-Drive?

Thanks Chastity. I've tried out the 460P and hit it too low for my liking. It might have been the shaft, but I think the fade bias on the 460P is more than my ss can handle. Thanks for the 411 on the 430P lofts....hmmm maybe it's just not meant to to be.

Probably a long shot as I haven't seen too many 430P on the board, but still would like to try one if someone is clearing their bag for the expected 2008 goodies. Ideal 430P would be 10.5° with stiff flex diamana, GD, roddio, or mamiya shaft, but would be happy to consider any 9.5° or other shaft options. Would also consider a similar VIQ. Buzz, the TS202s are forgiving and long (lofts are stronger) than the 23s. I like to describe the 23s as player cavity backs that are amazingly forgiving, and the TS202s as forgiving CBs with traces of workability and forged feel. Salamat spoon. I remember running home from school so that I could catch Force Five (Gaiking, Dangard Ace, Getter Robo, Grandizer, and Starzinger). This was well before cable and I could only pick up channel 18 by manipulating the bunny ear attennas, and trying to read the subtitles through all the static. Just had to add some memories from the spring of my life with favorites from summer time. I think when I get to the fall and winter stages of my life I'll look back at some of these pics and remember some really good times. Pacman rocks, but just hope he can keep focused with being world champ and not a politician or celebrity
