The color looks outstanding...not exactly the teal head of the J340 but that blue might even look better. That's a great blue...was it a custom order? If you don't mind me asking how much was the refinish and can you send them a whole club? After a year of major ho'ing...the only thing that hasn't been constantly recycled is the J340. It's a great driver in every category.

FAQ, I just noticed the part in the cavity looks to be gold. Did you do that or part of your customization by Mizuno. Is that Bruin gold and powder blue?

Just got this with my Golfsmith order and it's too long for me to swing indoors safely (my ceiling already has club marks). Red is about 25 oz and recommended for those over 175lbs. Still sealed in plastic with dvd. Asking $80 shipped and paypaled in the US.

Just got this set in trade and decided to go a different direction with my irons... WTS near new set of Srixon I 302 irons. Not much signs of use on the faces. 4 iron has small nick on leading edge (but shouldn't affect play). When I traded for the set I was told the Project X 5.0 was tipped 1/2 inch to play closer to 5.7. Golf pride full cord grips. Asking $485 OBO. Hope this is the right forum...I am looking for tips on how to preserve finish on flat black or chromed blak finish on irons/wedges. I know that with play the soles and faces will show wear, but any suggestions on maintenance to preserve the overall finish and delay having to refinish a set? Thanks...

Does anyone know the top iron shafts in Japan and possibly comparisons to iron shafts available domestically? Whenever custom orders of M stamped Mizunos or Gauge irons come up, shafts offered are any available in Japan (except PX). Besides NSPro shafts are there Japanese iron shafts that should be considered in a custom order that aren't available US domestically?

Hoping to sell near new...about 3 rounds with these irons. 3-PW Miura tournament blades (US) Satin, DGS30, 37.75 5 iron, lampkin crossline grip. 3-5 Miura CB105 cavity back Satin, DGS300, Dual Decade grips (4 iron has slight nick on bottom of sole-like bag chatter) No other signs of much use on the 3 and 4. The long irons on the blades and CBs were not hit much. Played with iron covers so the set still looks very mint. Blades sold and cbs traded...thanks Lou and Rick.

FF, is the black satin finish the same that Chris had up a while back? Might you know how if differs from the flat black finish? Thanks for the reveiw...

Does anyone have pics they could share of how the Mizuno flat black or black ox finishes have held up after rounds of play? Just wondering what kind of wear to expect....and what kind of maintenance might protect. I know the black ox process fades over time, but wondering what kind of upkeep does black finish clubs require. Thanks...

How about $560? I was at $570 on Ebay with a couple days left before Karsten pulled my auction for intellectual property infringement. Umm, yeah I don't think they have to worry about me selling one new set. $560 shipped, paypaled, and insured.

Picked this set up in trade recently and the set is too nice to keep in the back-up bag. 5 iron is 38 inches. Set in very solid 8.5 condition. Gauge Design half cord grips look sweet with the green True Temper Tour concept shafts (4 iron grip slightly off the butt an easy fix, but want to be thorough). Tour Concept shafts have a nice feel...very consistent. Not to mention very bling bling shafts not readily available. Play slightly softer to flex, but your mileage may vary. Asking $860 and fairly firm on price given the rarity of head and shaft combo. Please pm with any questions. I don't mind keeping the set, but blades have been kind to me of late.
