  4. i liked the old callaway logo on the ball, the circle C thing, but now i hate this logo and it distracts me too much because its so friggin huge, probably the only reason keeping me from playing callaway hx blues

those look absolutely amazing, i wish i had a set like that
  6. i don't care where they come from, i wouldn't mind having either of those sets
  7. man that really stinks, i hate cats too, thats why i have a boxer ;) I hope when you said he shredded up the r7 tp it was just the headcover, not the actual club. Just think, at least you can get new headcovers for alot cheaper than a new club
  8. sorry to jack the thread, but how do you get all this stuff you're selling?

i'd still buy one if they were cheap, but thats kind of a disappointment, especially since everyones been anticipating a great putter
  14. yeah, those irons look really wierd at first, but after looking at them a few times, they look pretty sweet. The putters im not too sure of, Im not a big mallet fan
  15. i got my bid at $60, maybe $65 if you're lucky

oh, i'm sure my dremel can get a high enough horse power to sand it down, i just don't think i want to, it'll ruin the finish and everything. I think i'm gonna leave it as it is, it doesn't really affect play any. I just need a 54* wedge now, probably will buy a used one so i don't feel as bad when i destroy it :smile1:
  17. can i have one of your putters? i mean you already have 3 really nice ones, you can spare one to a poor child with a good cause

ok, i hammered the metal that was sticking out back in. On the sole, its a whole lot better and smoother, but on the edge, it still needs some work. I missed a couple times, putting a small rough mark on the edge, but it won't affect anything. I don't want to mess with it anymore, cuz its hard to see from address still. I'm also surprised at how solf this metal is...

well, the closest thing i have to a griding machine is a dremel with various sanding attachments. This idea also came across my mind. I think i'm gonna try the more manual way by pounding back in first, and then smoothing it off, because i don't want to take off any of the finish (just yet), then it'll really rust

im probably gonna hammer it down a little so it doesn't affect my play, the only thing i'm worried about is it getting rusted inside of that little cavity. Theres some grass in there, but i think i already got out the piece of rock that was stuck in there. Any way to prevent rusting?

So today after a very very crappy round of golf, I basically gauged my lob wedge when I hit a rock. I took a shot into a hill, heard a click, and looked down to only see this big rock mark in it. Since its a mizuno mp forged wedge, it did alot of damage. 3/4 to the heel is this big ding on the edge of the wedge. Its not that noticible from address (just a little bump) but it definately bums me out every time I look at it. So i was wondering if this could be either fixed or just touched up a little so it doesn't look so hideous. Can anyone near where i live be able to do it or do i need to send it off somewhere to get it fixed? Ive included some pics so you guys can help me out, maybe even you could fix it, or at least tell me how much it would cost to get it fixed. (some of the images may be a little blurry cuz my camera sux) Please help me, I love this wedge and its only a couple of months old!! :wah: :wah: :money:
  22. well, i haven't really negotiated the price yet, but its set as $50 right now. I also saw a titleist 975D driver with xstiff shaft there for $65, looked pretty nice...
  23. So the other day i was roaming around the pro golf store and in the used section i came across a 54* black ox wedge for $50. As some people know, i've been looking for this for quite a while now. The only thing is, its in about 7/10 shape, (which doesn't bother me that much) but it seems like some idiot scraped off the finish on the face. Obviously, that moron thought that the rust was a bad thing so he tried to scrape it off in order to sell it. So now, half of the face has the finish gone, and the steel under it showing. i was wondering if this will rust up again to get the great spin these are known for, and will it maintain the sweet feel of mizuno wedges? I can probably get them to knock off around $10, making it $40, but should i buy it or just continue searching for a different wedge? Thanks for your help
  24. man, if you were only a month earlier, i would've gotten them for $500
  25. uhmmm, what are you doing sending off your cameras to hawaii?
