  1. He pulled it down because I sent him a rather direct note earlier today....this is the response I got from him: "Excuse me you are who?? If the irons are counterfeit can you explain how you came to that conclusion as i m very interested?? These were bought from an epon dealer do you care to elaborate on your threat?? - motorbike124
  2. I just sent seller a note saying: "I know they are fake....take the auction down or I will report to both EBay and the FBI."
  3. Torstage yellow or purple...very cool
  4. Truly stunning. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find it?
  5. Amazing that Yamaha is almost nonexistent in the US...then again, could say the same for Ryoma and a few others.
  6. Hey, that's my car! Just sold it a couple months ago but some great memories. Mine was 086 black on black. Nice club...good luck on selling.
  7. Love my steel fibers. Smoothest shaft I've ever used and easy on the joints.
  8. Jeff: my wife is in the equestrian business. Some idiot broke into the barn and stole some very pricey devoucoux saddles (if you think golf is expensive, pray that the wife doesn't get hooked on horses!). We kept our eyes peeled everywhere for the saddles and Devoucoux keeps serial numbers on all saddles. Months later, the wife finds her saddles on eBay, contacts the local police and they actually tracked the guy down and we got back 2 out of the 4 saddles. Problem is, by the time it's up for sale, it's been through 3-4 hands, so very tough to trace back to perpetrator and the guy selling bought at an auction. In either case, I really hope they come back to you. The other thing I've learned is that most insurance companies cover some not all losses as part of personal property coverage.
  9. The other thing Aerotechs are famous for is for those with an injury to the wrist, forearm, shoulder, etc.
  10. Hey, you are the first guy I have ever met that would like to demo grips!! Funny, but best way is when you demo just about anything JDM, they usually are gripped w Iomics or something similar.

    Stunning!
  12. DAMN!! Well, someone wanted it way worse than me. eBay price with 2 mins remaining was $650. Just to cover myself, I put in a bid in those last 2 mins for $870 which I thought would never hit. In the last few secs two bidders duel it out and bid it up to $900! Just doesn't make sense when you can buy the same club brand new for not much more. Go figure...never thought a club that has close to zero reviews and not a lot of coverage to go for that much. Its not like this was a Ryoma or Crazy w a Crazy shaft. Weird What really sucks is that I'm still searching for the holy grail!!

    Great shaft!!
  14. Also hate the guessing game with buying $700 drivers off eBay and never demoing the club. Probably a true definition of a club ho!
  15. Precisely!! Tough to see on TV, but go to a tour event and see how high the pros now hit the ball and it's all about hang time, similar to the LD players. I was shocked the first time I saw Dustin Johnson hit the ball at the Barclays. Actually thought he had sky'd the ball it went so high...ended up being a 320 yard bomb!! Used to be these guys looked for super low trajectory and using an 8 degree driver...no more.
  16. Jeff: stiff shaft and at 66 grams. My swing speed is 95 MPH and I generally play stiff at about 60 or so, so guessing it should work(??) Just surprised to see if going for so much money.
  17. Gents: this is the club on eBay that I'm considering. Haven't bid yet but please feel free to give me your input...and please don't bid against me...haha! http://www.ebay.com/itm/200798046559?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
  18. Haha! Being a senior myself, I cannot say I am repulsed by that comment:)
  19. +1 to that Robb. I find that if I'm forever looking for the holy grail, it actually casts doubt on the gear I currently have which will ultimately creep into my game. That being said, what's everyone liking in terms of new drivers;)
  20. OK, I deleted just in case I offended any geriatrics out there
  21. No doubt Spoon. Having my 151 w fubuki shaft cut down an inch today. Classic tradeoff between distance with longer shaft vs hitting more consistently in the sweet spot. Love my epon driver, but want more distance and like you, waiting for epon to produce something for the "common man"! For now I am a bit repulsed by what they are producing (sorry that was bad,)
  22. OK, scientists and Spoon;)
  23. If Epon has any interest at all in the US market, they should seriously reconsider the name. Repulsion in English is immediately thought of as a very negative term associated with intense dislike as in "I am repulsed (meaning disgusted) by his actions". No one in the US is thinking of the term as it relates to physics...unless of course you are a scientist:) You could argue that the US is not their intended market for this driver but why choose a name that has a negative connotation?? Why am I starting to have flashbacks to our discussion of Kamikazi shafts:)
  24. Yes, but who comes up with these names??? Did anyone in marketing at Epon look up the English meaning of "Repulsion"?? Basically means with utter disgust or intense distaste!!
