  1. Just funny to hear that from a bunch of guys that love to fiddle with changing in and out of a bunch of shafts and heads and basically changing out of gear more often than some would change their shorts for the day, that you don't want a driver that you can fiddle with! I would think it would be a gear heads dream. On my end, I'm not obsessed about the fact that it's adjustable or not (had one of the original TM adjustable drivers and just kept it neutral the entire 3 weeks I owned it;) I more concerned or interested in how it performs and man is it tough to find reviews on the club.
  2. Yes, but thoughts on the driver?? I'm also not a big fan of adjustable drivers as an aside.
  3. Any place to demo the kamui in the US??
  4. Strange for me that ppl here would have limited interest. I had always thought that Tourstage was viewed as top quality JDM gear.
  5. Interested in some collective thoughts from the group on the 2012 Bridgestone TourStage X-Drive 707 driver. I see TSG has a couple reviews but interested in overall feel and whether or not its a bomber. Also any comparisons to my Epon 151 would be helpful as well.
  6. As reviewed by Supo!...although I believe a different version
  7. I am not liking the direction of Epon as of late and now this??!! Seems they're a bit late to the white party. A bit of a "me too" or not so fast follower strategy.

Limited edition doggie head covers, limited edition Personal irons, limited edition Zen putters, limited edition Zero driver (I think!) and now limited edition "new driver". Seems like these guys have taken a page out of the Cabbage Patch dolls! Love just about anything Epon...just want them to release a driver that's a true bomber, not one for only slow swings or athletic swings.

Quick question: why are so many Epon irons and drivers "limited editions"? I get it that OEMs put out a driver every few years as a limited run, but seems as if every new set of irons or driver from Epon is "limited". Marketing??

Sheesh! First the Zero that's geared toward scratch golfers that very few can actually hit and almost impossible to find more than a handful of ppl that like the club and now a club geared towards slower swing speeds?! How about producing a driver that works for average to above average golfers?

Only huge if it's an improvement over the Zero:)! I'm itching to buy something new
  12. I'm considering purchasing an epon 208KGX in copper but having never hit copper wedges, unsure what to expect. Softer? Easier to hit? More control? more or less spin, etc. Also my fitter can bend the wedge that's currently at 56* to just about any loft. My current wedge setup is as follows...my plan would be to replace my 58* chikara wedge and considering having new wedge bent to 60*...thoughts? Epon 502 PW = 45* Epon AW= 50* chikara green: 58* Chikara red: 53*
  13. Thanks and yes...quite literally, each time I pull back the trigger I have a little extra confidence knowing the putter was custom made just for my putting stroke and optics...Putting being all about confidence, so makes quite a difference. I am guessing the Edel has easily shaved 2-3 strokes off my game which is HUGE! Miura up for sale as sad as that is in next couple weeks.
  14. I would agree that the putters are not anything stunning, but they REALLY get the job done. I got over the not so sexy looks after I started dropping more than my fair share. Had a big member/member tournament last weekend and we won it. I would credit my Edel putter for most of the hole that were halved or that we won. Interested in where you got the putter made and how they could recreate the exact same specs.
  15. Sidebar: which Bushnell bag is that? Tough to see in pics, but looks very sharp

    Ha! Have one already!

I own the 151 and can tell you it's as straight as it gets...not stupid straight like you can't move the ball right or left, but when you want to be consistently in a fairway, i can't imagine a better driver. Great club at a great price!
  18. Great review...would also like to know how they compare to the 502's. I would love a set of personals, but when I told my fitter I wanted to give them a go his reaction was "no way you will ever hit anything better than your 502's!".
  19. Love their irons, their bags, not so much.
  20. NINJA OR NINJA WARRIOR!!
  21. "Let me ask you this, if someone designed a putter that said "Allah-o-Akbar" - "god is great" in Arabic would anyone be offended?" Uhm...actually yes I would be, or at least would not be first on line to buy the putter. I guess my question would be why choose a name that evokes the level of emotion you're hearing on this forum from a group that is generally very respectful. Thousands of other good names out there without potentially putting TSG in an emotionally charged situation that seems to conjure up years of history and as you've already witnessed here, quite a bit of not so nice debate. p.s. Great wind in the US also has another connotation which I will not reveal but usually happens after I have a great Mexican meal and a couple margaritas:)
  22. Great stuff...definitely ballsy or as they say in the ski world, "huevos grande"!!
