  1. Like NEW... TM- R-500 with 9.5* loft. NO sky marks and very little signs of any use at all. Beautiful head shape and size... probably one of the best looking head shapes to date for TM As you know.... this driver was TOUR ONLY. Currently the driver is equipped with a Stiff, Graphite Design Purple Ice shaft. Selling the driver with shaft for $325 shipped. This is slightly negotiable. Interested.. pm me or email me at home email at; [email protected] Thanks, Mike
  2. BRAND NEW - I have hit wedge and seven irons on range and off of matts only. Clubs show little to esentially NO wear signs at all. Beautiful !! Scratch, Players Cavity back irons. 3 - Pw 6.0 Tour Flighted Rifle Shafts Satin Finish Selling just due to other financial obligations.... need to sell! Asking: $775 shipped Interested parties may contact me via PM or my home email at: [email protected] Thanks, Mike
  3. In the event anyone is looking for a mint set.... contact me. I have a set that I hate to call brand new because I have hit the seven iron and the wedge at a range and off of matts. But.... they are practically brand new and in fact several of the irons still have plastic wrapping on the heads. My set is 3 - Pw with TT, X100 shafts. All original with TStage Cord grips and all to US Specs. Frankly.... I love the look of this iron. I bought them because they were new and this particular set of irons is very difficult as Chris mentioned to find mint let alone NEW. However.... I just cannot hit the X100 shaft. Anyone out there good enough to hit this iron with that shaft could have one very nice set of irons. I have considered having them reshafted, but that is expensive and I just do not want to put more money into them unless I just can't sell them. I am asking, $825 shipped. Anyone interested can PM me or email me at, [email protected] Mike
  4. Wow..... that really does sound very expensive for a wedge. Overpriced??? well, when you consider the price of their irons this does not suprise me. Chris... I don't know if you have seen the new "T Series" wedges from Mizuno. I just saw some photos on that wedge today and they really look nice. Selling price here in the states is around $109 Big difference from the Hiro. Mike
  5. Chris... how much are these wedges?
  6. Don't you guys think that the question for this Forum is not, "what is the best forged iron" , but "what is the best forged iron today" or maybe this hour? As you all know.... this is truly the flavor of the week. I can remember when the MR-23's were the holiest of "holy grails" and nothing could compare. I have seen this forum go from Miura's to Tourstage and back again to now it is PRGR and yesterday afternoon it was Mizuno Japan, and an hour from now it will be Gauge Design and an hour after that... Hiro Matsumoto. Do you guys see any real consistency on this topic over the last year or is it just me? I know what is the best forged iron. It is the one currently in your bag. If anything... I find a lot of this stuff very confusing! It is also like buying a computer... an hour from now it is obsolete. Buying irons which is as expensive if not more expensive than a computer is a huge risk if you are a club ho like most of us on this site. I am half afraid to buy anything. I usually buy my clubs with the idea that when I wanted to move on with my next set.... I would just throw my old irons on the BST forum and someone here would be interested. Not the case. It has to be the right flavor.. and like mentioned earlier... it changes hourly. Do you see the pattern? Try taking a set of MR-23's to your local "2nd Swing" shop here in the states and see what they will give you for them. They never heard of them. You can imagine what they offered me!
  7. I really like the satin Mizuno's... but they are only available in Japan? Correct? What is the cost on a set of Mizuno satins? Mike
  8. Selling a mint 9.5* R500 Tour Driver Head is perfect, no skymarks and practically no sole marks. I have hit this driver at range only and therefore is near perfect. The driver currently has installed a Graphite Design, Stiff Purple Ice shaft and a new grip. I am selling club intact with shaft. If you have any interest, you can contact me either here via PM or my home email address; [email protected] Thanks, Mike
  9. Ari... There seems to be some question about the finish on the Taylor Made CB, TP model. I have talked to a couple of TM people and each have told me different answers. Can you tell me if you have heard it will be chrome or satin finished? I think it would be a great disappointment if they did not have this set made by Miura. I just placed an order with my local pro for a set. I had some trade dollars due me and I decided to use it towards a set of these in Rifle shafts. I might change my mind if I find they are not Miura's. Anything extra you might know or can find out would be appreciated. Mike

Guys..... thaks a bunch for all of your feedback. I actually got an opportunity to speak with Paul at Shreveport yesterday and he is really a nice guy. I think that I am going to reshaft these with the Nippon NS Pro 1050's I appreciate all of your feedback.... it has been quite helpful. Mike

thanks... I really appreciate the information. I heard that Shreveport also carries the NS PRO 1050 shafts and that option also intrigues me. I had originally thought about Rifles, but now you have me thinking. Anyone had clubs done at Shreveport to report?? Mike
  12. Guys... I was just wondering if anyone out there is familiar enough to know whether the MR-23 irons are either Taper or Parallel tipped? I have a brand new set currently shafted with X100 shafts. Way too stiff for me. I have tried a couple of times to sell the irons, but no takers for what I needed to get out of them. I have just decided to reshaft with Rifles. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance... Mike

  16. Primo... I happen to agree with YOU. I think a lot of people including myself get very misled by advertising hype over so called, "Player" type Cb's I also bought a set of cb's (Mizuno MP-30's) and hated them! Although the MP-30's do look blade similar, the offset on the seven iron down to the wedge drove me nuts! I have only seen a couple of sets of true player Cb's and the absolute best looking is the MR-23's! IMHO I also agree with Chris from the standpoint that there are people out there that are playing clubs more fit for better players. I personally play to about a 12 handicap. I happen to be currently playing the Scratch Cb's and also have two sets of the MR-23's, due to different shaft options. I may not be a good enough player from day to day to play these true "Players" type Cb's, but I would gladly sacrifice a little forgiveness for a club I like to look at. I guess you might like to compare it to the guy that marries the ugly wife, but boy she sure can cook! Me.... I prefer the looker and I can take her to dinner.

  23. Primo.... I agree! I have had my set of the players blades now since the beginning of Spring and have a few rounds in with them and I have to agree that the Scratch irons are one of the best balanced set of irons that I have played to date. I have the Tour,, Satin finish on mine and just love them. The only problem I have is not the fault of the irons, but just that I am not really a good enough player to play this very small set of blades day in and day out and be consistent with them. That is not the fault of the arrow, but the Indian! I also have a set of the players Cavity backs on order and ARI has promised delivery of them early next week. I am off to an annual golf outing with friends at the end of the week and plan to take them with me. In summary.... so far the irons and my wedge has been great. I can only expect that they cavity backs will be just as nice, but more forgiving. I can post my review.
