Guys- If you haven't or aren't already hitting these new ZCOM's- you owe it to yourself!!!! These are incrediably LONG and Straight- Never hit ANYTHING Longer(mw54)!!! I paid more than this just for a PULL(best $$ I ever spent!) But order up the stiffer flex- they are about 1/2 less than stated. Josh

Sounds like the SIX is the right move- I have this is an R7 and it is sweet, plays about 1/2 flex light, so I suggest start at the normal flex you would get and then tip as needed- this shaft is very lively and won't feel boardy- easy to feel the shaft load and unload- it is light(54g) so expect your SS to go up a bit- but it does keep you from getting stuck(at least for me) and swing it at about 75-80% and you will see the longest drives. another suggestion is a fuji mw54 zcom-but availablity is pretty smalll. The new DG SL, is not a PX killer at all. I wouoold say PX are great for anyone who hits down on the ball(I don't). these SL's are what the DG lites are except they have a high flex point instead of a med flex. These are really DG on a diet without having to reswing weight your irons. I have been playing a set of X100 2xsoftstep for about 6 rounds and really work nicely- especially in the smalls head such as mr23's- the lack of weight makes it less effort and ups your SS just a bit :cool: Josh

I have not hit any of the NS pros- what is the difference between 950 and 1050..wieght? Also in terms of flex- would you compare these closer to a dg or Px or rifle? I ask because I am much more of a swinger than hitter and the px's didn't work for me at all- if made my Mr23 a very hard to hit iron- I swtched to the new DG SL(which is like the DG is ever way except its about 20 grams lighter( which I prefer).
