Hi all, As you can see on the left, I have a Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Tour. I can't imagine ever using anything else. That said, a few JDM putters have caught my eye recently and I wonder what I will experience with the new putter. Anyone with a SC Tour putters and JDM putters? Thanks, Droopy

Thanks bogeydog and gocchin! I thought the Yururi's would be softer and the Epon's harder...but it's opposite. That makes my decision a lot easier, Epon it is! :) Any suggestions for shafts? Also, is the True Temper Wedge shaft = S400? S300? or completely different? Thanks, Steve

Hi guys, I currently play Rifle Tour Flighted 5.5 in my irons. I am planning on replacing my sand and lob wedges with either the Epon AF of Yururi Tour Seida wedges. The problem is my wedges have True Temper Wedge (sand) and S200 (lob) shafts in them. What's the best choice for me for a shaft upgrade? Should I go with Project X 5.5 shafts, Nippon Pro GH (weight?), or ????? Is it possible that the clubs will feel too light? TIA for your help! Thanks, Droopy

Thanks to everyone who replied! I don't think I'm a good enough ball striker for the X-UT. I'd like to try the G-Field hybrid but I have no idea where to get them... I've heard that Adams Pro Series are very good too. How do they compare? Anyone try the Mizuno JPX hybrid? Thanks! Droopy

This is my post to the fitting thread: Swing Speed (mph or m/s) - 90-95 mph Driver distance (yds) - 220 carry Tempo (Slow, Reg, Fast) - slow Transition (Smooth, Reg, or Quick) - Smooth/Regular Wrist lag (Minimal or Lots) - Average/low side Usual ball flight (Low, Medium, High) - Too High Desired Flight (Low, Medium, High) - Medium/High Desired Weight (60g, 70g, 80g range) - 60g (or whatever is appropriate for Epon 460) Bad shot (Right or Left) - Right Current shaft specs (if available) - Accra T60 M4 slightly tipped What are you looking for in a shaft? - Long straight distance with great carry + good roll Hopefully that helps you understand my swing better? What is the full insertion depth? Since it is untipped and inserted 1.5 inches, I assume it's probably plays a bit less stiff? Droopy

I would definitely be interested in this combo. However, how stiff is it really? CPM? gocchin recommended a Whiteboard in R as Diamana's play fairly stiff. That's the only thing that worries me... Droopy

Thanks Spoon and gocchin, I wonder if the weight difference will be that noticeable? From my current shaft, the W5BA is lighter and the W6BA is a few grams heavier... Gocchin, Your description of your game mirrors my own! :) The only reason you went with the W5 is because you prefer a lighter shaft? Thanks!

Hi everybody, I emailed Chris late last night and he suggested that I post here in the fitting forum. I'm planning on purchasing an EPON 460 driver head and need some help with the shaft. I am... Height: 5’8” Handicap: 15.1 (but since I can't play that often, currently more like 25+) Driver SS: 90-100mph Tempo: Fairly smooth Normal Shot: high, slight fade Bad shot: Slice to the right OR coming over the top and pulling it way left Current Driver: TM R7 425 (neutral weighting) with an slightly tipped Accra T60 M4 45" My driver usually carries 220-240. I'm not the best ball striker and what saves me is that I have a pretty good short game. For example, when I was playing at least 5 times a week, I shot a 76 and only hit 1 GIR. I've been researching the forum and I'm not sure which shaft would work best for me. I've read so many good things about the Roddio shafts. On the stiffness designations: R - regular SR - stiff/regular (like a Firm flex) S - stiff Is this correct? Let me know if you need any more information. Hi all, I’m a long time lurker, first time poster. I’m currently playing a TM R7 425 with an Accra T60 M4 (stiff?). The shaft is only slightly tipped to make it softer. This was custom fit for me over a year ago and I hit it pretty well. My swing speed is not very fast and on good hits, I probably get 230-240 in carry. I’d like to purchase a Epon Technity 460 10.5 with either a: Roddio shaft (no idea which one) OR Axiv shaft OR Whatever other head and shaft combo anyone is willing to recommend.
