  1. I'm curious as well, I had a DI-6 and liked the feel but had it in a 10.5 R11 and hit it too high, no roll out.
  2. Paul, You need to give it more time to get comfortable and get the correct tee height. Realize these aren't optimal conditions, relax, take your time. Don't try to get your conclusion now. Zen, be the ball, let the game come to you and all the other sport analogies.
  3. For me a new set of irons takes more time to dial in so I always give them time and keep a set I'm comfortable with.
  4. New clubs take time to get dialed in and like you said it only matters what happens on the course. Good luck
  5. Paul, I'll do some research on which model. I'm a big fan of the fit face which gives me a softer feel. I'm not a mallet guy.

That 7v05 even in regular is a stout shaft, I bet in this set up it plays closer to a stiff.

I just got the Yamaha head from Stew so I don't know what to expect, it's a 10 head so I wanted to go with a low spin, low/med launch shaft as I hit the ball high. My current driver is a R11 9 with a blueboard 73. I hit this mid high with a baby draw and good roll out, I thought I'd install the BB in the Yamaha head but the R11/BB combo is working so well I won't touch it. I'm thinking the Black 72 will be a bit stouter and lower launch, I'll let you know in a couple days.

I'm having a black 72 installed in a Yamaha head shortly, I tried this shaft in a Superdeep head and shaft felt good but SD head wasn't for me.
  9. Bettinardi for sure.

Speeder 757 may not be a good fairway shaft.

    One draw back is it's 5-pw. I know I need a 4 iron.
  12. I hated the look of that putter but I played it for 9 holes of night golf and made a bunch of one putt pars. You'd have to put a gun to my head to make me put it in my bag.

Really you have a Ryoma 9.5 for sale? How much?

To me the Modus 3 stiff played soft to flex.
  15. Haven't hit the others you mentioned but I know the DI-7 is a good shaft.

Google Harrison, there's a chart on the website.

For drivers I like a SOLID feel vs soft.

Epon 502s with gel insert felt ok but didn't go for me.

Try them, you'll like them, a lot.
  20. I had the Nippon 8950s, really liked these. They're a little heavier and lower torque than the 950s, so lower launch but still have that smooth feel.
  21. Best hybrid I've found is the Taylormade TP 09 19 with a Fubuki hybrid shaft. Long and straight.
  22. Mizuno JPX 800 pros have a nice sole and played well in soft conditions. Titlelist Japan VG3s are also nice in wet soft conditions, any condition really.

They produce others heads to their specs so different feel for sure.

I saw TC 710s today the sticker said made in Japan, what does that mean?
