Pete Maybe the yonex ezone? Not sure how the 420 and 460 are but the 380 sounded/felt persimmon. I'd like to try the 420 as the 380 didn't quite fit my eye.

Just went through a full fitting (more detailed post coming). The fitting studio has a full and I mean FULL line of JDM gear in addition to all the US stuff. The fitting lead it's way into the JDM gear and I was just blown away. The feel was superb, quality outstanding and the numbers spoke for themselves. Again full detailed post coming, but I'm going to be a proud new owner of Epon AF-Tour Blacks with Diamana Thump X shafts. Never thought I spend this much change on a set of clubs, but if it cures my ho'ing, then it's worth it. Also never imagined I'd be fit for those shafts, but this combo on average gave me a 18 yard increase in iron distances. I've never achieved the numbers that I was getting out of these. The lighter shafts increased my SS significantly and the X flex (any other shaft specs) did a great job combatting my early release. The numbers will get even better as these were without the lofts/lies being tweaked for me. I did hit the 502's further but I had more confidence in the look of the AF-Tours. Oh yeah... FORGIVING!!!!! The fitter was laughing at me because I kept saying... "I can't believe these are a blade!" over and over. They have to be the most forgiving blade ever produced.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone with Epon 302's could post some pictures, including address shots of various irons. Trying to get an idea on offset and the appearance of the shorter irons. Thanks!!!!!

Thank you! How are the short irons? One reason I dislike my Mizunos is that the 9 and PW don't look like they belong. Currently pondering the yamahas, epon 302 and royal collection tours. Anyone know if any of them can be custom ordered with Shimada tours?

REALLY thinking hard about make the new Yamaha Tours my first JDM iron purchase. Just wish I could see them in person.

My god those tours look wonderful. I've never owned a JDM iron before. Might need to make that change. Any forgiveness in these? Went from a TaylorMade MC to Mizuno MP53 b/c I'm not playing as much these days. Don't need quite as much forgiveness that the MP53's offer, but need some.

Can you give some info on the M vs H grinds. Maybe which is better for what type of player/shots/conditions? Can the black finish be removed (raw)?
