I play Miz MP32, DS300 SL SST Pured steel shaft, for a few years now with HCP of 7. the age factor finally caught up to me and it is such a hard time keeping up with my 20's sons. No I don't want to hit farther than they are but I need to minimize the damage of my miss hit (I think it is the eye sights :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: ). I love the Miz MP32 accuracy and feel but hate the penalty when miss hit. I think it is time for a forgiven irons. It is time for a new set of irons and want to hear some of your suggestion in here. thanks guys.
  2. that is really nice. when can we get one like that?

Hi, maybe some of you could give me some help here. I had been playing Mizuno MP32's for a while now and love the way the Miz metal feel at the golf balls. The sad fact is that age finally caught up to me and it is time for a little forgiveness for my game; Also the fact that I need to 'punish' my 20'ish sons & nephews and make them pay for lunch for once :tsg_smilie_wah: I am very interested in the new Miz JPX lines or something else that could come close to the MP32's but a bit more forgiven for old man 'me' who had a tendancy to get a bit tired running after kids on the back nine. I would love to hear all of your opinions and will appreciate whatever you throw at me. thanks, Desperately out of cash fast!
  4. really nice head cover but as much as I like to bling, I couldnot bring myself to buy one for that price...not when I can get another putter for the same price. Plus I will not able to putt in peace if all I worry is not loosing the dam thing on the course.

IMHO Steel shaft would be great like a 4-wood or 5-wood but it has to be a SL or 950 for me. 3-wood is graphite all the way if distance is what you want. If the graphte in your 3-wd is too light, try something more heavy.
  6. Hawk, make sure you keep me update if the excercise works for you. Use really light weight so to have more reps. I am crossing my fingers for you man!
  7. I don't know if this will cure you but it did for me within weeks. I got tennis elbow and it lasted for almost a year. To the point I would avoid the range before the round, afraid that I would chunk once or twice on the mat or grass and ruin my entire round. Annoyed the hell out of me and I kept thinking this is the end of any sport for me. I was suggested by my doctor to wear a brace but that did not help much and it is so uncomfortable. One day I happened to make a complain about my tennis elbow to my sister's friend, who is a fanatic rock climber, and he made a suggestion to me. this crazed rock climber told me that most rock climber get the same pain when they first started and there is a way to fix it. He told me that the muscle on top, which run the above your forearm(the one that get expose to the sun the most) from your elbow to your hand need to be strenghten. everyone play tennis or some sort of sport. which use your arms develope real strong muscle on the bottom of your forearm more, which in turn tend to pull the top muscles. Rock climber use their hand to grab on to rock and pull themself up or hanging with one arm, alot so the muscle on top of the forearm need lot of strength. -he showed me an excercise where I would sit with my forearm rest on my lap and hand stick out from my knee, with palm down. Holding a small weight in my hand I would do lifting excercise with just using my wrist, and palm pointing down ward. The motion would be raising knuckle up and down. -another excercise would be stand with both arms in full extension in front of you, palm down. using a stick with small rope tie to the middle of it with a small weight at the end, about 4 ft. Both hand holding the stick, palm down, using your wrists, twist the stick to reel in the weight up from the floor. all these excercise only need to be done about 10 minutes a day, unless you want to be Poppey the Sailor man arm. I used both techniqus for a couple weeks, I can feel the muscle on top of my forearm strenghten dramatically and the dam tennis elbow disappear. I wished I know this before, I would not give up tennis so early. I had picked up tennis again and golf has been more fun. I had recommendate to a few of my golfer buddies and it work for them also. I hope this help.

Don't even know if they actually have a fake/copy of the R7 fairway wood. A friend bought one off ebay, his comment was that there is a new mark every time you hit the ball. by the time he finished hitting it on the range, it looks like a truck has just ran over it...this was from a brand new club. weird!
  9. Something easy to hit?? IMHO I would suggest to you TM R5 dual 3-wood or the any of the Cobra sz 3-wood. They are such a good deal right now in pricing. if you want to go high end then try then go with any of the Tourstage X-st fw but I found out that it does not compare to the combination of the Sonartec 2.5 w/ Fujikura Tour Platform 26.3 graphite shaft. This may piss alot of TSGer's off but Tourstage is good but not that good. again it is only MHO. :tsg_smilie_wink:
  10. Don't try any of the Gauge "the one" or "Balde" !! I made the mistake of trying the Gauge design Japan putters, I ENDED UP BUYING BOTH OF THEM. Now I let my "Scott whatever" sitting in the garage collecting dust and felt bad that I wasted my money on "peer pressure". I know about the personal preference crap but go ahead and try it at your own risk...I just hope your budget is ready cause Once bitten...can't let go.
  11. As I suspected Chris would say. love the NC1 look and heard alot about the feel of these wonderful irons. But for me, the MP-32's are it. Most of the time when you get your hand on a new piece of gear, you'd seem to do well at the beginning but as it set into your swing, that is when you can tell if the irons fit. I tried everything for a month... my vote is the MP-32 and TM300. Have not seen any come close yet. :smile2:
  12. yeah you are a sick individual :smile2: but I am jealous as hell. Please make sure you write that review. I hate to see these kind of posts here. I just shelled out (homemade peanut butter sandwhich for a few months) and got a combo set of MP32 for short irons and MP60 for the long irons. I love this combo set up...NOW! IAM TOTALLY NC1 ENVY !
  13. for me, one piece take back, real full body turn on take back always guarantee for me to release the club on the downswing. hope that help
  14. Just show that picture to my 7-yrs old daughter, who a M. Wie fanatic fan/golfer wannabe, hoping she could learn that swing. First question come out of her mouth, "dad, can you ask mr. Tourspec to ask Michelle where she buy that cool golf outfit." I am speechless right now. :wah:

-to play with and feel special...MP27 -to play with and still have some money for tee time, new shoes, balls, and feel special cause you are the only few one who have them on the course (this year) now...MP60 -to feel special...buy both.
