You thought about trying an FS model? 297 cc's, hythen metal. Amazing drivers. Really hot face... yeh that's one hott club...the painted face is so beautiful you won't want to hit a ball for fear of marring it. nice hi-launch as well. i'm starting to beat up my FS 3wd already!

the AS is 350cc but has a deep face and the pear shape makes it look a tad smaller. *i need to edit my previous post... the loft stamp of the .5 lofts should be on the bottom RIGHT (not left) of the '1' stamp. non-conforming have the loft on the upper right of the '1'. confused yet?

the AS/660tr is my favorite driver... beautiful profile and hdshape although not as long as some of the drivers out now. i rotate between that and a e340/661 which is super-hyten as opposed to all Ti. concensus differs on the conforming ones... some .5 lofts are AS lite and non-conform, some are legal if they're stamped on the bottom left of the '1' on the sole, i think? ask nickyprice...he's the man when it comes to kasco!

if i had known, i would've taken that FS off your hands... just picked one up and currently getting a vp70 installed. definitely a looong 3wd and the sound i don't mind since my fave driver is also kasco... got a supernova coming soon too which is supposed to be the sh!t! who knows, maybe the search'll be over soon...

after more than a year of contemplating the purchase of these irons, and from recent lack of play and practice, i decided i needed a friendlier iron than the Z's and mr23's and bit the bullet. i put the word out and taipanli heard my call...the x5000's are pretty hard to get ahold of...when was the last time you saw a set for sale? luckily his had my preferred shaft of choice...tfr6.0's. i finally got some time off from work and are really loving the forgiveness of these beauties! (of course, when i get back in stroke i'll switch back to my satin Z's... :love: ) a tad more offset and long heel/toe than what i'm used to but they perform better than i expected... high ball flight and the large cavity is extremely easy on mis**ts... very soft feel just like all TS irons...not clicky at all. bottom line...forged TS quality and forgiveness without having to play my cally x14ps shovels (last resort). thanx DDA![/img]

the top one looks like a killer whale... the 2nd one is kinda cool but is it conforming? looks longer face to back than heel/toe...

for sub-350cc...ping tisi 323cc, tm510tour-mid, orlimar hipti 340 or cleveland launcher330...<$150 kasco dna as is 350cc and in the topspot of my bag for almost 2yrs now. the e340 is 340cc and has a superhyten face so it crushes the ball. both kasco's can be had for <$250 on ebay. i'd love to try a gemmi but the technology is still new so i know there'll be definite improvements coming soon...

i've not hit the xblade cb's but i can say that the Z101's and the mp-30's are totally different in terms of playability & feel. the mp's are imo so easy to hit they're like game-improvement clubs. the Z's are cb but definitely require more 'flush' contact to get them to work like they're supposed to... TS irons all around tho feel MUCH softer than mizunos imo and the quality and specs are usually spot-on (unlike mizzy's...) i just put another set of TS itb...x5000's (thanx DDA)...an oldie but goodie and they play much more forgiving than my Z's or mr-23's.

hm-4 is an awesome shaft...counterbalanced but at a heavy static weight; 104gms if i remember. the cb effect makes it feel like a 80ish gm shaft which is perfect for a FW. also plays softer to flex cause of mid-kick...i had a X in a 200tour ridgie and it got the ball up pretty high.

ohh yuck... nato and durian in the same sentence...peee-yewwwww! my Dad loves papaya and durian but i can't stand the smell. haha i remember the first time (and last) time i ordered nato w/ wheat noodles...the Japanese waiter said 'are you SURE you want to order this??' but like a trooper i ate some even after smelling it :poop:

belly and long putters are ok w/ me so long as the shaft isn't anchored anywhere on the body.

i have a set of miura NA combos and they definitely feel softer than the tm firesole forgeds... tfr5.5's in the miura's and s300's in the FF's... the shafts make a huge difference in feel needless to say.
