  1. Nice. I wonder if you can get the grain flow forged stamping removed?
  2. I received some offers for retail version, but still looking for a 8.5 tour version.
  3. Those are beautiful irons!

300 Tour is still a great head!
  5. Please send me a PM if you have one for sale.
  6. My MP-29 retails feel better than my limited edition 681's, and my tour issue TN87's feel better than my tour issue 680 prototypes. For me, Mizuno hands down is the winner. Miura irons on the other hand are a different story.

I have both and would say the TN-87 are still my favorite Mizuno iron. The TP-19's are also a nice alternative if your're looking to refinish a sweet set of irons.
  8. The closest shaft I've found to the 660TR in the value range is the Harmon CBX. It's a great shaft for the price, and very underrated. I received it in a 580 Tour so I don't know if the tour version is different from the retail. Just for reference, I've got the 660TR, 660TR Blue Streak, 693HK, 671TB, and 761TE all shafted in various tour heads, and my 580 Tour CBX combination is equal in feel and distance to the other combinations.

    Interested. PM sent.
  10. Sweet looking set of irons!

I've hit both and prefer the 580 Tour over the 540DF. For me, the 580 Tour hit a flatter ball and felt much more solid. The 540DF hit the ball very high, imparted a lot of spin, and had little to no roll out after it landed. I was hitting the 540DF about 10-15 yards shorter than I hit the 580 Tour. I think the 540DF is a great club for a low ball hitter. For the money, the 580 Tour is a super good value. I actually like this head over the 580XD Tour as well.
  12. They sound like the North America version that were about 3-4 years old. Raymond Floyd played those irons for awhile. I'm sure you can get an approximate cost if you were to look on the Miura North America site and discount them based on their condition. I've seen a couple of these sets on ebay and I believe they sold in the $300-400 range used, but that was 1-2 years ago. If I'm not mistaken, they look very similar to the Bridgestone J's Professional Forged Cavity Back.
  13. I whole heartedly agree! Makes me kinda ashamed of all the Taylor Made gear I own given that this is there next generation. Can you say C4?
  14. Can anyone tell me the differences between these Titleist heads (offset, sole, bounce, grind, other)? I've heard the 681T's are much more solid than the 681, but haven't heard why. I've also heard the 680's are easier to hit than the 681's. Curious if there's anyone out there who's hit all three and can provide me with some info. Thanks in advance for your help.
