  1. Purchased at Yahoo auction in Japan. My parents live in Japan, and my wife has a bank acct on Japan. Worked out great. Have yet to get on the course since I purchased it ...can't wait for spring!
  2. That's what I am hoping for ! By the way, when I went to change my grip at a local shop this past weekend, an old man told me, "huh, cameron knock off ha?"
  3. I begged my wife to buy the Gold's Factory Trinity. Ever since I saw it on BTI blog, I had to have one, but was a little too pricey. Finally saw one used at an Auction, and decided to pull the trigger. I told my wife, it will be the last putter I will buy : ) It's drop dead gorgeous.
  4. Hard to imagine how they can make it better... The current spoon is sooo easy to hit. Straight and long. Can't beat that combination!!!
  5. Nice. Would love to mod my bettinardi. Always wanted to tryout the PZ milling.
  6. Yeah, totally agree. You will have a hard time finding anything that feels/looks/performs better.
  7. PW - 47 GS-CB , 46 TS X-CB1 AW - 52 GS-SW / V3 SW - 56 GS-SW / V3 LW - 60 GS-SW / V3
  8. I purchased the gs-01 and the gs-m1. I haven't played a mallet in awhile...but will give it a shot... as my putting woes continues. If these doesn't work, will consider the gf.
  9. I have 2rounds under my belt with the gs-01. The first round I had so many 3 putts I lost count. The head is not the tradtional anser type so kind of getting used to. My second round was much better. Had 6 one putt with only 1 three putt. The feeling was pretty soft with good feedback, and the alignment was very easy with the vertical slit across the top. With the price that is listed here, you can't go wrong.
  10. As most, import for me. Suites my swing much better. The only "tour" I would consider is the putter.
  11. Best JDM Driver in 2008: Epon EMB Why: Straight as it can be. No more pull hook. A bit loud (aluminum bat) but easy to get used to when you hit it that straight. Straighter than my 4+ RC BBD Type H which is scary. Best JDM Iron of 2008: George Spirits CB Why: Nicest feeling irons I ever came across. Softer than any of the blades I have used in the past also. Minimum offset with medium size heads.....which you don't see that often. I can control the trajectory easily like the blade. Love it. I would buy this again, and again. Best JDM Putter of 2008: Gold's factory Answer Why: From what I have seen and heard from this site. Don't own one yet. My current gamer is either the Gauge A3SP or the Byron TCB. I got tons more but none of them are going in. I need to find 'the one'. May be GF is the one. Best JDM Wedge of 2008: George Spirits SW Why: Like a extention of you hand. The head sits so nicely and the head shape is perfect. Easy to control spin. Best JDM Shaft of 2008: n/a. Haven't tried much this year. Best Course you played on in 2008: Blue-Monster. Why ? because of the 18th hole. Best shot you made in 2008: 195yd par 3 at Jacaranda golf course at Plantation FL. Left to right wind. 4i GS-CB, slight draw to hold it against the wind. Landed softly to 1ft. Easy Birdie. It was the first 4i I hit in more than 5 years. Best professional player in 2008: Shingo. I don't think he is all that ... but he keeps on winning on the JPGA. Amazing.
  12. This was announced on BS-golf yesterday. The X-blade 901 looks nice but the others, I'm not so sure.
  13. I bought the GS-CB irons (4-PW) and a set of the wedges 52, 56 and 60. I shafted the 4-PW with NS 1050G and the wedges in NS1150.The length is 38" on 5 iron....woulda liked it shorter at 37.75. First Impressions Looks - Simply beautiful. The headsize was much bigger than I expected. My previous irons were TS-Xblade CB1...and it's a tad bigger than that. I would say in between the TS-ViQ forged and the CB. Because of the headsize, the 38" (5i) did not feel too long. (I still wish the head was a tad smaller) Top lines are much thinner than the TS CB. All the lines are very clean with minimal offset which I like. The wedges just look excellent. Simple, clean, and looks like it will work on any lie. You can open the face up and still be comfortable. I only got one round in.....in heavy rain. (today) Because of the rain, the wedges are already getting spots. (grrr) Also noticed that the silver paint fill is coming off. My mis**ts are on the toe, and I hit plenty of those today on the first nine. Sweetspot is relatively large on this, so was not penalized that much. On back nine, I was more feeling comfortable with the irons and were hitting it flush. When you hit it on the sweet spot, it's nothing I have felt before. Very very soft. (Not mushy). And like everybody here, I have hit many many JDM clubs before. This is one of the best in terms of feel. Trajectory : Medium-medium high trajectory. A bit higher than my previous CB...which is kinda odd, but since I am a low ball hitter, it's all good. Maybe I was hitting a bit higher than normal due to the condition. I never played in a rain this bad... the course wouldn't offer me a rain check so decided to play on. (i was still on the 3rd tee when it started to rain hard...but was able to get 27holes in. Everyone on the course left, and my wife and I were the only ones were out there. 3.5hrs for 27holes. Not bad.) The distance control was also superb. Very consistant. Also, this was my first time on the AF901 22deg Machline (SR). Couldn't hit it at all. Dunno why. Considering going back to my 7w. So, all in all, I am very very satisfied with my purchase of my GS-CB and the performance of this club. Love to try out the GS-MB someday to compare the two. Anybody else with a GS-CB out there ? Love to hear ya feedback. Cheers.
  14. I use a 10.5 with stock SR shaft in 45.5 (D0.5). My swingspeed is around 105mph. Although the shaft seemed very wabbly at first, it is very stable. I'm normally a low ball hitter, and with the EMB, nice medium high trajectory. I'm 5'8" by the way.
  15. Has to be one of the sexiest CBs ever. How does Mr.Takei do it ?! He is a genius when it comes to club design.
  16. FYI, George Spirits website has been up since late June. www.georgespirits.com Again, congrats to Mr.Takei. All his clubs looks absolutely amazing.
  17. I thought the Fourteen MT28 V3 was forged (鍛造ニッケルクロムモリブデン). Same method and material as the x-wedge ... no ?
  18. Currently considering the new blk x-wedge or the MT28 V3 as my next purchase. Does anyone know which clubs spins more ?
  19. +1 for FOURTEEN MT28 V2. Than comes Miura WMF-03 at close second.
