  1. Almost forgot the grooves: Most OEMs will never produce retail grooves as sharp as tour grooves. Doesn't appeal to must customers. 90% of golfers buy clubs based on durabilty. Have you ever noticed how often a tour wedge lasts? Without the ultra sharp grooves, its just a retail wedge. Many touring pro's switch wedges every few weeks; PM is one of them. Not only durability, but also play. An average golfer doesnt even know how to use a wedge correctly, nor care. Until the highend/tour market is larger, we'll have to stick to pulling from the Vans or play retail. Chris
  2. A shop here got some in today along with a few drivers. All the wedges were satin. When I asked the owner he gave me a "huh?". He said he just ordered lofts and they arrived satin. While many, my self included, love the raw look, chrome is the huge favorite. A brushed or satin is a great mix that will most will play. If I hadn't bought a new driver and wedges last week, I would of brought a few home to snap pics. Will have to wait until next week when I change again :P
  3. I have 2 brand new cleveland 900 single dot wedges. The lofts are 56 and 60. They have the "satin" finish. They're both single dot, low bounce wedges. The single dot wedges are very hard to find and the most sought after. Both wedges are brand new. Never hit. I purchased them 2 days ago, but found a new driver I need funding for :P I'll have to get a set of wedges later. I'll break them up, but would rather sell them as a set. $275 for the set - $150 a peice. Chris
  4. Chris just got the Balde in. Check it out. Looks even better then I expected. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/modules.php?na...c&p=89946#89946 Chris
  5. Thats correct. The only deposit you EVER have to make is the 20 dollars. The poker site requires the deposit to verify your account is legit. They don't want 1 person creating 4 or 5 accounts and our account getting paid for all 5, so this is their way to control it. Chris
  6. Sorry, there isn't. I am trying to work something out for future tournaments, but until then we'll have to play without the Mac users. Chris
  7. The last one took an hour and 10 mins. You shouldnt have any problem being done by 11. Chris
  8. Irish555 tipped me off to these freerolls that they're offering. You guys should check them out. 11PM PST every night of the week. Its limited to the first 500 and it usually fills up in 10 mins. The prize pool is 200 bucks. Normally I dont like free rolls cause they play is really bad. Its not even poker. People takes these pretty seriously. Chris
  9. Glad to see everyone likes the prize. Lets hope it encourages a few more signups. Chris

Its not a gimmick or scam. I am a long time online marking affiliate of online poker sites. I am just trying to give back to the golf forum community and supply everyone with a little entertainment. If you plan to join us, please don't wait till the last minute. Download the software and make the deposit as soon as possible so you don't run into any last minute hang ups like a few have. 11. The all time best fairway wood shaft is the 869. You can find a pullout for under 150. The HKPro80 is a little lighter, and creates a little higher ball flight. Its still a very flat ball flight. Chris
  12. It was Golferpimp that took 5th without playing :wah: :-D :surprize: Plan on a week from Sunday for the next one. Just need to get it confirmed with Noble before I post the details. A few of us are going to try and play in a small nl table Sunday evening as a group since we dont have a tournamen sent up for this weekend. Anyone is welcome. Contact me if you want to play. Chris
  13. Chainsaw!! Congrats Chainsaw! Nice win! It came down to Gator, Hoots, and Chainsaw to the final three. Blinds were pretty high, and the game got exciting. Chainsaw took Hoot out first then slowly chipped away at gator. It was lots of fun and can't wait for the next tournament. Expect a post in the next few days which will include the date and first place prize. Chris Finaly table ( I took it right after I was eliminated  ) Final 3. The chips stacks were a little even, but they got it back to about square at one point. The winner Chainsaw!
  14. I sent you an e-mail a few days ago, but I also just PM'ed you with the password. See you guys tonight. Chris
  15. Just a few hours left. You still have time to join us. Follow the link in my signature. Chris
  16. League members will be the only ways playing in this event. If you're having problems send me a PM. We'll figure it out. Chris
  17. This is true. This month they're offering a 100% bonus. This means if you deposit $100, they give you an additional $100 for a total of $200. You do have to play a certain number of hands to earn the bonus. Its similar to how Vegas casinos comp you a room. These casinos dont have rooms to comp, they just give you cash! You dont have to be a high roller to receive these bonuses either. Chris
  18. You lasted longer then Chris, you should make sure he doesnt for get that ;) -Most people are depositing 20-40 dollars. 20 is the minimum. -Each tournament we start with 1500 in tournament chips. They have no value except in the tournament - The deposit has no relation to your chip amount. The reason a deposit is required is for verification purposes only. Chris
  19. Whats the top prize in the golf tourney? Is it better then a Gauge 3 wood? If not sounds like you better let the tournamen director know you wont be there ;) Not sure where you live or when the tourney is, but the poker doesnt start until the evening. You should be able to do both. Btw, what do you guys thing of my new avatar? Chris
  20. I hope Tim and I work something out, but if not I'll send you a PM. Thanks Chris
  21. It takes them a day or two to update the lists, but everyone thats on the list should be receiving an e-mail starting late this evening. Hehe.. I hear you.. I dont mind helping with neteller, I just dont know if there is enough time to get it set up for a transfer. You can easily set up a neteller account and fund it with a bank transfer or cc in time, but you have to take hte extra step to do a peer to peer transfer that we might not have time for. Chris
  22. Matt, If you have a verified Neteller account I can probably trade small amounts with you. I tried this with one other member, but we ran into a problem because the members neteller account wasnt verified. Verifying a neteller account takes 2-3 business days. Its similar to Paypal, they make a small deposit into your bank account and you verifiy that amount with them. I have a few hundred in my neteller. If this is something you'd like to do, you'll need to verifiy your account ASAP. Contact me and we can work out a minimum transferr. There are paypal and neteller fees that will have to be put into consideration. Chris
  23. I need a R7 TP 9.5 degree either headonly or with an mid/heavy weight shaft in X flex. Would preferr SKW or HKPro 80, but will also consider 771, 757, 859. Anyone? Chris
  24. 50 players is our next bonus. The bonus is big enough to give away some very nice prizes. Imagine if we're able to give away a GAF1 with minimal funding what maximum funding will bring. *cough* Custom Miznos *cough* ;) Like some of the others said, I just enjoy the chat that goes on during the tournament. Chris had my laughing so hard last tournament that I couldnt even see the cards on the screen. Chris
  25. All you've got to do is win the TSG poker tournament on March 29th :P We have just confirmed our next tournament for one week from today. We had planned to have it this weekend, but many members had conflicts with the holiday. We have received minimal funding, yet were still able to afford a new Gauge Design 3 wood. The 3 wood retails for $229 head only and it will be awarded to the first place winner in addition to their portion of the prize pool. This tournament will only be open to offical Poker4golfers league members. To join, visit our site at www.poker4golfers.com/join.html . Joining the league is easy. You simply download the software, register an account, and make a minimal deposit pf 20 dollars. The deposit is only for verification purposes. You dont have to play with your money at all. Just keep it in your account for 7 days while they verify the account, then you can withdraw the funds. Last week we had 20 members show up. This week we hope to have 30. Cash prizes will be awarded to those that place in the top 15. The winner will receive the Gauge design 3 wood in addition to their prize money. I know its a little hard to beleive, free money and prizes. Its not a gimick or scam. I am a long time online marking affiliate of online poker sites. I am just trying to give back to the golf forum community and supply everyone with a little entertainment. If you plan to join us, please dont wait till the last minute.
