2006: PRGR M3 Hit Fairway Wood!
From where I'm standing i love everything about it. The shallow face, the head shape, the look, scorelines. The whole package looks truely great. I wish I could get my hands on one of these to demo, I'm sure it would beat out alot of the fairways I've tried.

The X-Drive 460 is coming
Does anyone have any pictures. I've always wondered why the X Drive, Tour Stage's most popular driver, was only 435 cc. Don't get me wrong, 435 is still pretty large, but golf has moved to 460 as a norm. This sounds like it'll make a big splash on th import scene. Looking forward to more info.

Mizuno MP-27 Irons from Japan
Like he said, they're custom Mizunos. I don't think Mizuno is going to put out different finishes as stock. If your truly interested, you can surely ask about it here at TSG. If you want a set that's truely custom, and you love Mizuno irons (who doesn't), it'd be a good idea to check it out.

My new Flat Stick...
The rigid looking grooves on the face look like what Gaurin Rife did with their putters (the Roll Grooves or whatever it's called). The only problem with the Gaurin Rife's is they don't even come close to looking as good as these beauties. The colours, the style, the preformance (from what I've heard). Everything about the G-Feild putters point to perfection.

Technity
Looks like a great company overall. I'll have to agree with the resta ya, the copper wedge looks amazing.

Wedge Stamping
You can do this one on your own if you want to. You get a stamp kit for cheap (off Ebay if you can), and stamp the new number and even your name or initials all by yourself. Paintfill it with whatever colour you want and you have personalized club.

Royal Collection Prototype Video
Do you have any info on the size of that driver? It looks larger than most other offerings from RC.

cpga's bag
There's been rumour of an r7 460 TP. Ya have any info in this one? Nice set-up, TM is one of my favourite brands. Those irons are unbeleivable, one of the best looking sets there is on the market.

PING TOUR TISI TEC 3 WOOD - 14 DEGREES
I love the finish on the Ping lob wedge. I'd consider buying it, but I just recently got a brand new lob wedge from Taylor Made.

wedges with the most spin
The Spin Milled ones are nice for that. They feel super crisp and fly like a dream. I'd reccomend them to anyone who doesn't mind ruining a few balls, these wedges bite the ball with some really sharp teeth. Plus, the oil can finish that's new in them looks really good.

Hole-in-one
sly_sam replied to acrazygolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI haven't gottan one yet, but I holed out for birdie on a par five for my fourth shot, in my first year playing. That's a good way to get hooked on golf forever. Hopefully mine will come the next time I play, or this year even. Those things are so sneaky, you never know when they'll jump out and scare the crap outta ya. I was excited when I holed out from 120 for birdie, I'm not even twenty yet but I may have a heart attack when I get a hole in one. Wish me luck. And I wish good luck to all those who are still searching for that ace, you need equal amounts of luck and skill for one of those.

I studied and made the switch
This demostrates how me being a left handed hockey player forced me to me a right handed golfer. As you know, the muscles used to shoot in hockey are similar to the ones that swing the golf club. My left side on my upper body was developed enough to make the motion of swinging right handed very natural. Alot of the best celeberties athletes who golf are hockey players. Brett Hull played in a Nationwide Tour event as a pro, and he's been a sratch player for years. People always ask me how I ever became a right handed golfer from being a left handed hockey player, I tell them it was just natural. Then again, every once and a while I do flip a wedge around and hit it lefty on the range, just for fun. (some advice on this: developing both sides is a great way to improve on mechanics, it takes you out of getting too dominant with one or the other, smoothing out faults; both Tiger a Phil will both practice with the opposite side, and even switch clubs in pracitce rounds on occasion)

Ladies JPGA Tour Bag Pics
Hey, Honma is carried by Golf Town! I never realized this, but there is an import distributer here in Canada after all. I thought we were stricky domestic but I've been proved wrong. Though, I'm sure that what Golf Town carries isn't anywhere near as advanced as what's over in Japan. They have an import pice on them that's for sure; for a driver it's about $800.00 US ($1100.00 CAN), for irons it's about $3000 to $5000 in Canadian dollars (so about $1500-3500 US). If I had a million dollars...I'd buy something Import. It's nice to know that we at least have easy acess to some form of Import here in Canada.

Coming Soon The Taylormade R7 Forged Limited
I thought they looked similar. The overall profile of them is almost exactly the same as the 300 Forged. They probably play the same way too. Do you think they'll come out with another TP Combo set, as another throw back to the years before? I know they could just as well do it now that they have both a TP cavity back (from last year) and the new MB TP that was recently released.

Introducing the Taylormade R5XL Series
From the looks of it the r5 XL is going to be replacing the old r5. Taylormade still has the old r5 on their site, will these ones be the replacement soon enough?

Coming Soon The Taylormade R7 Forged Limited
Looks nice, almost alien tech. Like the back of it is kinda like a space ship. It looks just like the older CB but with a better look.

JPGA WITB: Daisuke Maruyama
Again we see that nice looking Titleist Proto the 906 F2. I'm really looking forward to seeing more on this one. Nice bag set up, but yeah, no import. What gives with that? That could just as easily be a PGA Tour bag, rather than a JPGA Tour bag.

The 2006 Tourstage ViQ2 430cc Driver w/PICS
This driver is the full package. I'd love to try it sometime, but I'd have to go to Japan to get the demo for TourStage products. Hopefully someday TourStage will expand into North America, but then I think it would lose it's import touch that makes it so good.

Bunker Play- Need Help!!!1
One thing that many people forget to do when their in the sand is either one of two of these things, or even both. They don't grip down as they bury their feet for traction and they don't have the ball up a bit in their ball position. These two things are key to hitting good bunker shots. And another thing that's underrated is confidence. Like any shot, if your not feeling good going into it, your never gonna hit it well.

Srixon W-606 and I-606 Irons
The look of it is excellent. The red stripes remind me of a sports car. Any news on the advances in its technology from the previous edition? (or the advances they're working on?)

Would love your guys input
We don't need any more Ping half-moon things painted on the top, those were cool, but I wouldn't buy a driver with that on it.

Would love your guys input
Another sweet looking drivers from the sole design is the TourStage ViQ. Both the 450 and 430 are pretty nice, but I like the look of the 430 better from the sole. Drivers like that, that look techy, are always eye catching.

Would love your guys input
I'd love to help! 1. I've always liked the look of Titleist from adress. The Nike SQ is really unique from the top, but many people don't like the trailing edge moon shaped design near the back of the head. 2. The High Bore looks great from the sole, and I liked the bright yellow of the Nike SQ. 3. I like a driver with the score lines that leave a circle shape in the middle of the face where the sweetest part of the face is. I also like how Callaway has incorperated their logo into the middle of the face on their FT-3 and X 460 drivers. 4. I like the longer hosel, it makes the club look classy for some reason. 5. Red, Blue, Yellow. 6. I like Beta Titanium, but as long as it's hot, it really doesn't matter. 7. Nver been a fan of the Carbon much. 8. Never been a fan of the moveable weights either. 9. Titleist 905 R was pretty sweet sounding. So was the Callaway X 460 and the SasQuatch from Nike. 10. I used to play with a driver that didn't have one, but I found that just a small arrow is nice. No seperate paint fill from the drivers crown, so it blends in when you hit, but is there when you set up.

Yes Tracey Putter
For me, another thing about the Tracy specifically that I liked, C-Grooves aside, is the weight of it. Many of the mallet putters out there are too Heavy and screw with the rythm of my stroke. And although I play pretty good with the lighter blade, I still need a bit more control over my stroke that I couldn't find. I needed a balance between heavy a light, and this putter (the Tracy) delivered what I wanted. Plus, I was never much for the look of a mallet. Before I got my Tracy, I would practice making my five footers like everyone else. Now that I have the power of the C-Grooves in my bag, I practice making my twenty five footers instead (mostly because these putters make anything inside 15 feet look like a joke). Anyway, for the sake of your game, I'd reccomend C-Grooves. You won't have to buy a new putter shaft again (reffering to snapping it over your knee).

What if....
The way it is with me, I buy the clubs that work the best for me. I also use Ebay for most of it because golf is too expensive without it. I got a brand new Nike SasQuatch off ebay for $250 US, and it came with an Aldila NV 65. One of the best deals I've ever gottan off them. I got my X Tour irons for $600 from the same place. Buying golf equipment isn't so you can shove the price tag in your playing partners face, so you think they think you look loaded. This just makes you look like an insecure jerk. What I'm trying to say is spending large amounts of money on all these new clubs won't always work. So the best clubs for you aren't always the most expensive or the most popular. You just have to educate yourself in what's what, and do some real world testing. So like one of you said, it's the indian, not the arrow in the end. The club doesn't mean anything if your not there to swing it. Whether it be a persimon driver or the latest new craze of hi tach ones, you still have to hit it right to get the results. If a guy tops his driver and it and it goes 30 yards with an old persimon driver, do you think he'll hit a 200 yard top with a $700 driver from this years batch?
