  4. Copper underlay is going to create a softer feel off the club face. 99% of the time the copper underlay in included in the price of the satin finish. I will make sure to post pix and a full review when they come back. Steve :smile2:

  7. I had them do 3 wedges for me in black, and the finish was gone in like 5 rounds. I have my 690.CB's getting refinished in satin with copper underlay as we speak. If you really love the irons and want to make them look like new and give them a softer feel, satin is the way to go. Steve
  8. Make sure it is a set of irons that you REALLY like, because it isnt going to be cheap. Black finishes wear TOO fast IMO, so personally I would suggest satin. You are looking at anywhere from 40-60.00 per head to get the job done right, so anywhere from 300-500.00 to do the full set. Depending on the time of the year, turnaround time is anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. Hope this helps... Steve :smile2:

You can reduce loft to reduce some of the offset. You may or may not be able to tell the difference. If I were you, I wouldnt mess with the shape or grind. That wedge looks great and has an AWESOME grind on it. You could go with a black finish, copper, etc, but chrome or satin will be the most durable. Steve :smile2:
  10. Those are seriously some sweet pics. I would love to see some pics of some custom CB's done in black.. Is there no love for black MP30's?

  14. I have 3 Vokey prototype wedges for sale: 1. 460.10 Oil Can (prototype 1998) The wedge has an awesome grind that allows the face to be laid open easily. The sole is BLANK. The number "37" is stamped on the hosel. There are some ball marks on the face on the sweetspot, but the groovs are still AWESOME for its age. Has some small dings on the leading edge, but other than that, no bag chatter at all. I would rate it 8/10. Shaft is DG S300. Price is 250.00(OBO) plus 10.00 shipping USPS priority mail w/ delivery confirmation in the US. 2. 460.10 Oil Can (prototype 1998) The wedge half of an "M" grind on the back(helps lay open easier) "60*" is stamped very shallow on the sole. "92" is stamped on the hosel. The bottom 5 grooves ars smushed in on the sweetspot from hittting alot of balls, otherwise all the other grooves look good. Would be awesome if it was regrooved, but it still spins the ball well with the grooves it has. Has some medium sized dings and nicks on the sole, only small dings on the face. Shaft is an Rifle 7.0 Price is 200.00(OBO) plus 10.00 shipping USPS priority mail w/ delivery confirmation in the US. 3. 48* RAW (prototype 2001) The wedge has no loft stamped on the sole or on the side under the wings to designate the loft. I personally measured the loft, and it is 48*. Has nothing stamped on the hosel. Has ball marks on the sweetspot, but the grooves still look pretty good. Has lots of bag chatter, but no large gouges. Has DG "wedge" flex shaft. Price is 250.00(OBO) plus 10.00 shipping USPS priority w/ delivery confirmation in the US. My ebay name is "Zip7111" and I have been on BSG for a long time. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or send an email to [email protected] If desired, I can pull any of the shafts and toss in a pullout I have laying here if you dont like the shaft. Also, I will throw a BRAND NEW Titleist logo velvet grip on all the wedges. Will trade for Bettinardi TOUR putters or TOUR Scotty's. I can add cash if I have to. Thanks for looking.... Steve :smile2:
