I am getting ready for a new set and wanted to get some opinons on these 2 sets.Which would you buy given the choice.I had a Custom set of MP-60s one of the best sets ever owned but Epons with all the options are almost just as customizable as Mizuno.I was thinking Epon Af-501s 3 & 4 iron and the 5-PW AF-301s.?Both sets will be shafted with Nippon Super Peening Blue shafts if that helps.Opinons welcome.

First things first.Make sure the clubs fit you especially the lies!That has a big impact on where you strike the ball.After that is set get a mirror or have some watch or video you to see if you take the club away too far too the inside.This maybe one of the most common faults I see alot of people (myself included) make.You think/feel you are moving the club straight back but it sometimes is snatched way too far inside leading to alot of problens and rerouting on the downswing or just comming back to the ball from the inside too far leading to the heel hits.Check those out before you go canging the arrows.

Saw that Geotech Golf is now listed in the Pro shop.For anyone who hasnt seen them yet the 670 HC iron heads look really nice.Almost like the Scratch AR-1s.Also the price for 3-SW cant be beat for Japan forged SC25 HEADS.Anyone use them yet?

Now that the new MP-57 is on the hoizon will this mean the Japan MP-27 will be no longer available?

Does anyone who has owned or hit or even seen the 14 770 forged irons think they look like the Taylormade 300 forged?I know it has been said the new R7 forged is designed to look like the 300 forged but I just dont see that since I own both sets.The R7 forged looks bigger and the topline and sole also seem bigger.They feel nice but the 300 forgeds I have are getting on in rounds and really looking to replace them with something just like them.The ones I have are Miura so its getting harder to find anymore of those.Any thoughts?

Dont you guys wish we coud play golf with 14 wedges in our bags instead of the rest of the clubs?These wedges and some of the others on this site would be killer in a bag.

Just curious as to why S200 "Feel light"?According to the specs on the R7 forged the S200 is only 3 grams lighter shaft weight than X100 and only 2 grams lighter in overall club weight than X100.Will those few grams make that much difference?
