  7. This is from the GD website... "Shaft Tipping is adjustable, but should never exceed 1.0" for Tour AD shafts." They recommend .5" for the u.s. production Tour AD's in a std bore 3 wood, but you could go 1.0".
  8. you can send me the pic if you can't post it here...
  9. I am interested also in the size of these. They look to be similar shape and size to Cameron's Baby T grip. Thoughts?
  10. Anyone know of someone who can put a very durable matte black refinish on a brand new set of iron heads? Looking to spend less than $20/head.

LOL... Whats a Troll? :smile1: And to Darwin, Keep up the good work...  A "troll" is someone who never posts and when they do it is just something really stupid that makes no sense or something to intentionally piss people off. They are all over golf forum websites.
  12. ????? Joe, does this mean a 45" shaft actually weighs 540 g (12g per inch ??) :punch:
  13. Depends on if you butt cut it or tip it. Cutting a shaft from the butt end does not affect the stiffness of the shaft all that much. It will have an effect on length (obviously) and swing weight. If you cut the shaft from the tip end (tipping) this is what will cause the shaft to play stiffer. As for "better control" the shorter shaft you have in your driver the more consistantly you will hit the ball in the "sweetspot". Most pros use between a 44" and 45" driver. This is because the majority of they want to hit more fairways and don't care if they lose a little distance. I would recommend not going any longer than 45" on your driver. As for cutting it down. If you like the stiffness it plays at now then cut 1" off the butt end. If you want the shaft to play stiffer than it currently does then cut 1" off the tip. Keep in mind that the stiffer the shaft plays the less yardage you will get out of it. Does this help?
