  1. http://www.usttourshop.com/irod.htm pretty sure the 90 listed there is the CB (counterbalanced).
  2. grafalloy Blue 90 - tour version that is heavier, great fairway wood shaft, but if you are looking for that kind of kick then it might work. GD Purple Ice would probably work well too. They arent the cool name, but sometimes you gotta overlook that to find what works. I have played them both as well as just about any Fujikura you can find and they spec out and play just as tight ime.
  3. This is going to sound kinda crazy and is not "Fujikura", but the Blue 90 is heavy, rally smooth and has that active lower mid kick and actually plays weak to flex because of the bend point like a 660TR. Cheap experiment too.

I use GP Tour Wrap full cords, round. My motivation for using these is pretty simple. I play without a glove and have tried every cord grip on the market. The Lamkins have great cord, but they are almost too coarse and the wrap is not smooth like the GP. The wrap also helps maintain grip pressure, the little edges are more surface area for my hands to grip. When choosing a grip the most important thing is feel and getting the proper size. Some people like reminder ribs, some dont. Its all what feels right in your hands and fits you.

I have tried several and as a hobbyist you shouldnt have to spend more than $150 to get a really good one that is reliable and has some levearge. That being said I would recommend the Kennedy puller. It is pretty simple looking, but is very effective. In the same price range is the Golfsmith, I dont think the shaft clamping mechanism works as well on this as the one on the Kennedy does.

no. I heard someone say that they had a longneck GAA0 and I would imagine thatis pretty close to face balanced. This one has about 25% toe drop and a standard length neck, about like a Newport.

34.5" no headcover - lamkin grip very similar to the standard Ping grip, only dings are underside of the hosel and on the toe(not even a big deal)...face is clean, topline, maybe a bump or 2 - putter isnt mint, but is a great player. Great putter, crisp feel, nice milling. $150 shipped and paypaled.
  9. I have one of these and it is the best golf related buy I have made in quite awhile. If you are going to get one, drop the extra bucks and get the YPT XL that he has. The magnification is higher and it will scan at 800 yards (I tried just to see if it would work)...can nail a flag from 250 (as long as the wind is blowing it a little). great price for a new unit too.
  10. That wont be up long...blatant violation of Ebay policy, their no raffle/sweepstakes "clause" - just report the thing to them so nobody takes the shank...then again anyone who is too dumb/unenlightened enough might deserve the reality call.

  19. the problem with comparing GD flex within a group of shafts is the "standard" for measuring. Just slapping each in a clamp and getting teh freq doesnt work...it is all based on orientation, which is why spining and flo are important....consistent measurement standard. Unless you have a vrapload of tapers forget about freq matching them with DG. I like DG better than rifles, they play tighter and I like the trajectory better. Rifles always feel dead to me no matter how good I am swinging.
  20. Price drop! Trades?
  21. Removing chrome isnt something you wanna do yourself, it is pretty dificult to do without the right tools and you will eat the metal. As far as grinding, dont use a bench grinder, use a belt sander with various grades of paper...you can control your cuts much better with a greater margin for error. You might want to get a bounce gauge if that is something pertinent to you.
  22. sent - might take a few minutes, friggin email server is on the fritz.
  23. Ok, now that I have verified the authenticity (beware of misinformation). No insert, 350g head, neoprene BG headcover. No writing on the sides, super rare. BG sells them for $700+ 1 Center Shaft 33.5" $500 each shipped to your door. Trades as always considered.
  24. if you submerge them in some really hot water for a couple of seconds before installing it will help, also get a nice seat on the hosel.
