D, Just got back from NY after playing two rounds at Bethpage and did not get your PM regarding the M65. If it is still available, I'll take it. Thanks.

If I understand it correctly you're not suppose to look at the putter on the back swing and sightline causes me to do so. Lasik may be or a new brain. The angular lines and color .... GD should renamed it as the BEAST!

Plus1, The One and Newport have similar back view; i.e., no cavity. However, the One is much more "angular" in comparison to the more rounded corners of the Newport. The One is AWESOME looking but would be much better without the sightline!

From the top view, the Balde & the Newport are similar. From the back view, the Zero & Newport are similar, but I like the look of the groove on the neck and cavity on the Zero more. Looking down the toe line, the Zero & Newport are similar, but the Balde looks better. Looking down the heel line, the Balde & Newport are similar; again the Balde looks better. The face of Zero & Newport are similar. The face of the Balde is slightly bigger since the sole of the Balde has less rocker or curve. I like the milled face of the Balde over the swirl of the Newport and the groove in the neck of the Balde & Zero. The Balde to me is softer thus it provides much more feels than the Newport. I may be wrong but the ball coming off the Balde seems to skid less than the Newport and Zero (I can hear the ball skidding before rolling when putt on the carpet in the living room). I like to remove the red paintfill in the logo but too afraid to ruin the putter.

Played golf for the first time in months yesterday. I took the Balde, Tour Zero, Newport 2.5 tour and the MC Series 360 to the practice green before the round. The vote was: 1st place - Balde; 2nd place - Newport; 3rd place - MC Series with the Tour Zero coming in very close to the MC. I played with the Balde and it was sweet. Please don't ask about the driver ... it was ugly ... :yuk:

Tubu Black Limited!
I agree that it is much better looking than the Red X. Just cannot decide on whether to buy another putter or to reshaft the irons.

NO! .... Can't be better the Balde w/out sightline. I guess the Balde may be "out of the bag" if I am to be with the "ONE."

Shaft to replace MR-23 S200
Chris, I saw your post dated 9/6 wherein you recommended the 750 Wrap for the NC-1. If the 750 fits better to the NC-1, what is better for the MR-23? Thx.

tour yes c groove putter
Does Yes produces "tour" putters since you can pretty much custom order any putter from them?

Shaft to replace MR-23 S200
Got clearance from the doctor to hit balls again. I want to new shaft for the MR-23 US spec. 5 iron plays to about 180/185. Driver SS is about 110 (give or take a few mph). I'm thinking of the Nippon 750 Wrap? ANy other good shafts, either steel or graphite (elbow problem). Also, the MR-23 is tapper, right?

Getting taper ferrules to fit
Put a small amount of acetone or nail polish remover on a rag and turns the ferrule with it then buff it out. Be careful to rotate the club with even pressure to get a rounded ferrule.

All the rage in Japan!
It appears that .860 is the norm for non-conforming driver ... I want more and would hope that this one is more.
