Any thoughts or recommendations on playing an 869x in a 14* or 16* TM Rm at 41". Is the 869 designed to play at 41"? How much would I have to tip an 869 to play at a true X flex? I prefer a High or Mid/High kick shaft with somewhat of a soft tip in my FW"s. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

I have an Original 1995 Del Mar 1st run of 500 34.5" long in good condition.

An Untipped 869 (non tour spec) should measure 25" from the tip to the very bottom of the wave box.

My Dad has a VP 80 in his TM R580 and he loves it. I had a VP 80X in a SS-03 which is a good combo, but I needed a softer tip for these tight ass lies in Texas. I replaced the VP80 with a Fuji 869. Why change? I've played the 757 in drivers and fairway woods. The 757 is the better shaft, for me.

Those are tour only shafts, we can't just order them. They were obtained by a gentleman for an order he placed with us. :D Robbie, I know!
