  1. I have to be honest with you, I never even asked. I just told Ken (my TM Corp connection) to get me a 8.5 R7 TP and to ship it overnight as soon as its' ready to go. I have a little Golf Trip scheduled on July 19th and I wanted the R7 in my hands by then. I'll ask Ken tomorrow, and post the price. But if you run the cost through my "Wife Price Conversion" program the cost comes out to $299.99
  2. Chris, I'm not sure if you have played the GD CP-02? If you have, can you give me your impressions on the comparison between the I-65 and the CP-02?
  3. Well I just got the word today, my TM R7 TP (8.5) will ship on July 15th  . Once it arrives I'll pull the Speeder Shaft and put a GD CP-02 on it and give everybody a full report. That's if my Wife hasn't cut my balls off and shipped the back to TaylorMade along with the R7!
  4. Jimmy check out this bad boy http://www.accragolf.com/seseries.html
  5. VERY NICE!!!!!!!!
  6. How about a TourStage X-Drive 350 Prospec (355cc's), I have one and it's just a great solid Driver!
  7. Progolfer, if your looking for low torque, soft tip, smooth shaft. The Graphite Design CP-02 shaft is without question the finest shaft I've ever played. I pulled the Fuji Speeder 757 out of my R510 TP and put the CP-02 on it, and man the difference was night and day. The 2.0 torque rating of the CP-02 gives you a nice tight shot dispersion, and excellent control. But the shaft still maintains a nice soft, active feel. The trajectory is medium, with outstanding distance, just a super shaft!
  8. Benny, how about the new KZG Evolution Irons in a "Satin" finish. KZG should be able to set these to whatever specs you require. http://kzgolf.com/forged_evolution.php
  9. Gmoney, have you considered Diamond Rifle shafts, here is a little info from Royal Percision: How is Project X Different from Diamond Rifle? While Diamond Rifle and Project X produce very similar trajectories, they are achieved through very different methods. There are distinct variances in the geometries and gram weights of the two shafts which alter their dynamic performance. Project X is a heavier, constant weight shaft driven in design by the PGA Tour. It is recommended for those players who load the shaft more aggressively, while Diamond Rifle is designed more for optimum performance with standard to moderately aggressive load.
  10. Well boys, based on the response; it looks like True Temper and Royal Precision will both be in business for many years to come. 8) 8)
  11. I have to go with Rifles, feel, consistency and just plain overall performance. Keep in mind this is a purely subjective opinion, based on my own experince. But for me there is no contest, it's Rifle Shafts
  12. Andre, good news on the Z101's! I had mine built at the factory +1 inch shaft length, in addition to the loft strengthening. It took a couple of rounds to get use to them, but I'm sure you'll be flushing them prefectly in no time :!: :D :D
  13. Thanks for the info and pics Chris :D :D :!: The wife will be so pleased, another Driver for me to buy ;argue :fire
  14. Welcome JS, you gotta like a man who swings a TP :D
  15. Andre, I play 6.5 Rifles in my Z101's and I had my lofts strengthened 1 degree throughout the entire set (2-PW) to help keep the trajectory down. It worked great, but I would strongly agree with the other forum members and test them at the range before you make any changes, good luck!
