Alrighty - I have a TP R7 9.5 head coming and I am looking for a Fuji shaft. My swingspeed is about 103-105 and am looking for a shaft that will launch lower. I am more of a hitter and like to play aggressive. I have not messed with the R7 weighting but prefer playing a heavier swing weight. I like the feel of my evolutionin my 540 - somewhat stought - and the GD YS 9.1 in my 3 wood is great.

Looking for a winter range club. Do not care about shaft.

Paul @ Shreveport has a finishing wheel that he can use to brush the chrome. So, it won't be a true factory finish, but it will be a very even 'satiny' look b/c it's hooked up to the grinder. Anyway, I'll receive the clubs this week and I'll post some pics for you. He tells me they look awesome! :cool: Guys - seriuosly the dremel tool worked great - then finish with a 3m finishing pad. It came out very even. Practice on some old irons or wedges first - not hard at all.

I did not have time to read evreyone's replies but will later. I am happy to hear evreyone's success. My friends wife died of lung cancer a year ago - and if you see the pain first hand - you just shake your head wondering how anyone can smoke. I started smoking when I was twelve. Got up to over two packs a day at one point and then quit - about twelve years ago- then after three years started again. I was amazed at how fast you go right back to smoking at the smae level. Anyway - I quit again about 14 months ago and have not had a cigerrette since. This time i went cold turkey where the last time I was on a program. Quiting cold turkey is the best way IMO - only because it hits you like a freight train and the experience is hard enough to make not want to go through it again. I am avery happy to be anon-smoker again. Now I need to stop making excuses about the 40 pounds I gained.

Chris ... hit the local hardware store and get some gel paint remover. I use a Q tip to apply let sit for ten minutes then rinse with water and scrub using a soft bruchs - like an old tooth brush. Do not put any on the plastic ferrules. Re apply again if need be. I have done this to three sets andd no loss of chrome.

Head is in good condition - no sky marks just normal wear - a very small (tiny) scab mark at the hosel that cannot be seen at address. Shaft was recently installed untipped an palying at about 45" and D4 swing weight. Also have TP head cover. $250.00

Chain by a new 2005 X Drive with a GD M65 stiff shaft in 9.5 deg. Then you will get sick of that in a month and I will buy it back from you for half price LOL :laugh: :laugh: Blade soundsl like a great deal especially with the diamana. Cleveland 460 Comp is suppose to launch lower and is a cannon. :money:

Just so I am clear - I can have my Newport II oil can refinished in platinum ? instead of the original finish. Also pick the length,weight and grip ?

Shoe - hang in there. You live in avery good state with plenty of family counseling and great programs. Take advantage of it. Hopefully it is just a phase that slows with maturity. I have read a few posts on builders using hot glue melt - need to be careful. A shop owner that I have a great deal of respect for has expermented with hot glue melt - then cut the head open to find out the the hot melt would ball up and not distribute evenly. I believe the melt he was using was Mitchell - but not 100% sure.

Who is the forging house ? Endo ?
