I have to disagree saying the 540xd is overhyped. It was the 2nd most played driver at Bay Hill behind the 510 DF. These drivers and the original 540 DF never really got the respect they deserved for being such great drivers. The 580 Tour and 540 XD Tour are both great choices and most likely better than the Low spin 510 DF that takes a special player to use effectively.
  3. Were do you get brampton? Also were do you get that brampton grip stuff that is more of a goo than a solvent? Thanks

  6. I saw these for sale by you on ebay and i was wondering if you can get them in red? Can you take a Pic of one of these headcovers on a Utility or Rescue mid? Thanks
  7. A Frequency Machine isnt gonna give you the true flex of a shaft. You have to try the shaft out by hitting some balls. From what ive heard Project X play stiff if you dont take a nice divot and swing down through the ball. There for hitters more than swingers.

.355 Taper Tip Shafts are used.

Its not that I doubt you, its that I have heard from others that they are made in the same place... Who have you heard from? Get over it philly.. stop post whoring .. .have you ever hit a tour club?

Which Gauge Design putter is most similiar in head shape to a Scotty Cameron Newport Studio Stainless? Im guessing it is either a GAA1 or GAA3. What are the headweights on these? What do they cost? Thanks
  12. Are you sure they are made in different facilities... ??? Yes im sure.
  13. The Four weight version is the TP version. I have no clue, but if there is a two weight version it will probably be just called the R7. I dont see how this will end the popularity of tour clubs. Being retail clubs these will most likely still have the same closed faces and probably the same loud sound that the 580XD retails have. The Tour Heads will be square faced and more muted. I disagree with the statement above that says rat glue makes TM tour heads more solid. The 510DF Tour was made at a different Foundry than the 510TP , and they DF Tour heads often have heavier weight ports which make them solid. Also the Tour R7's will probably have a hotter face than the retail ones. As is true w/ the 510 TP vs. the DF Tour.
  14. Is there just 1 size? Any mention of a TP version? What is the suggested retail in Yen? Thanks
  15. Is there a conforming version in Japan? Thanks My guess is that there isnt. The High C.O.R models say Max on the face What was the face angle like, how did it look at address? Did it get progressively more closed as the lofts went up? Thanks for the pix
  16. Is there a conforming version in Japan? Thanks

Yes it has been certified at the Cameron studio. Certificate number A000265 if you want to look it up on the cameron website. Glad you enjoy the pics even though they arnt the best. Steve :D How do you look up the certificate number on the website? link please. Thanks
  18. Its just a retail shaft, nothing special and worth nothing more than a TM stock shaft. I think it is 80 something grams and mid- low torque
  19. I usually just take a drill bit (one that will fit inside the ferrule, but not easily) and twist it with my hand through the ferrule. It makes the inside bigger. Whenever i try to put .355 T ferrules on .355 T shafts without doing this, it never works.
