  1. I have both the MP14's and Miura's you mentioned. The MP14's were bumped out by the miuras last year. They are both excellent clubs- cleans looks, nice feel, etc. However, I found the Miuras to have a slightly better feel and to more forgiving throughout the set. The best part is they still look blade like at address. If you liked the 14's you will like the Miuras! I have MR23's in the bag right now, but the Miuras still make it in 50% of the time.
  2. Forgot to add... would like DG wedge, s300, s400, 5.5, 6.0 or 6.5 rifles for the shaft.
  3. I am looking for a scratch sand and/or pitching wedge... anyone have anything they want to get rid of? I will probable order a new one, but if someone has one that fits me well and they are looking to get rid of it... In any event, please let me know what you have! thanks
  4. Tourstage X-Blades -3-PW -Rifle 6.0 shafts with tourstage cord grips -38" 5 iron, standard lofts -These clubs are in 9-10 condition and have been played less than 5 rounds. SOLD! Ping Eye 2+ BECU Irons -2-PW -Rifle 6.5 shafts 2-9, PW has s300 sensicore -37.75 length, Standard Black Dot lie -Clubs are in solid condition, atleast an 8+ of 10 -The PW has an s300 sensicore shaft which I had installed at the same time as the Rifles, I just prefer the added playability on wedge shots. All clubs were professionally as a set and have brand new matching Ping grips. All clubs have square grooves, the PW has the illegal grooves, making it all the more valuable. -$475 Sonartec SS-06 5 wood 19* -Graphite Design ys-9.1 X flex shaft -42.5 inches -tour only long hosel sonartec shaped after the 970!!! -$170!!!!! Taylor Made 200 tour 17* -43" SHAQX shaft in stiff flex -Head is finished in PT grey and looks excellent! It is an amazing match for the SHAQX. -$190
  5. Those look great!
  6. Here is a link to an old set. The pics are really small. I would have bought these if they had a PW! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...MEBWA%3AIT&rd=1
  7. These appear different that the pro 100 blades out bother and that were used by Bjorn. Those were more boxy.. similar look but with some sublte differences. The story is that the mold for the original sets was broken.
  8. Nothing in my box, try the email address. Thanks. Email sent

  14. I have talked to you about the Hot Metal over on BSG before and you know how much I love it!!! It is one of the finest ever made. I currently have two hot metals and a Smoothie and the Hot Metal is every bit as good. They have a great look at address, super hot face, just a pure pure club all around. I really don't know why people don't talk about them that much, but I have never heard a single bad comment about one! I have a feeling if they were more readily available they would get the praise they deserve.
  15. Pete Here is the problem... if the logic is that it is a design issue, and that it will not kick right inserted full bore than you will still have the problem even with the regular flex. You might want to consider another shaft if you are worried about the problem. Try the purple ice shaft or something that works with the bore-thru. I have one in my LFF and it is a monster. I guess if the Aldila is something you are set on the 2" insertion would be the thing to do over going with a regular flex. I had my local club maker drill out the stock shaft in one of my 983e's so I could try the whole 2" insertion thing and the guy butcher it!!! The paint was all burnt around the hosel and there was even a nice drill mark on the top of the head!! Just make sure you are having someone knowledgable do it! By the way, I am such a ho I forgot that I actually owned an 983K with an Aldila 75-s sometime this summer. I hit some absolute bombs with it but hated the K head. I didn't find that it played any stiffer than other shafts I have played full bore in a titty head, but I didn't keep it long enough to give a full review... sold it after 3 rounds.
  16. Is that combo a bad idea...no... will it play stiff... yes! I don't really think you need to put it in only 2" but that is just my opinion. I don't know what you have been accustomed to but I have been playing titliest drivers with some fairly stout shafts full board for around 7 years now. I had a 975D with a proforce 75 stiff full board for a long time (the combo now immortalized by the great Anthony Sorentino    ) ... i still think it is one of the best combos out. I had a 975J with a Vista Pro 80 full bore and to this day the combo might be my favorite of all time. I tried the 2" insertion thing with an Apache in my first 983e and I hated it! The club just didn't feel right to me... others have had sucess with this though. I actually have a 983E with an aldila 85-s coming UPS tomorrow. It is pretty cold here in PA though so I don't know if I will get a chance to play it and give you a review! I am not a huge swinger and don't play an X flex in anything clubs and the full bore/stiff shaft combo had been ok for me.
  17. I had set of those last year... pretty nice sticks! Great feel, but i like my Miura 1005s more than those miuras. You can find that model on ebay but they are few and far between.
  18. I always us full cord grips on everything, and no glove! I have lost chunks of skin at the range!! But once they get worn a bit it is no problem. I like to use round on my irons, I feel it gives me more options regarding grips position, pressure etc is I am trying to work a shot or hit a punch. On woods I like ribbed so I know I will always have a consistent grip and not get too strong or too weak with my left hand.
