Your best JDM clubs since last season....
My Epon 460 driver, PRGR M3 Hit Tour 3 wood and Epon Type-s irons won't be leaving my bag for a while. Super clubs!

Epon Golf Bag
Hope it is the Izzo. Great bag! Thanks for the pics.

best Japan fairway woods on the market
I have not noticed any fade bias with my M3 Hit. It really wants to go straight. I can draw or fade it, but mostly just point and shoot.

Doh. Sorry. Meant 42.5".

The PRGR 3 wood is 15 deg and 42.5". So it is not too far off from a 4 wood spec wise and it's very easy to elevate. If you like the looks, I would highly recommend it.

PRGR's New M3 Hit **TOUR** w/ PICS!
I would highly recommend it. I don't get to play much golf now days and have been looking for clubs that offer more forgiveness, yet maintain the look and feel that I am used to. The Type-S irons fit the bill and now it looks like the M3 Hit does also. I can't wait to get a few more rounds in with it.

PRGR's New M3 Hit **TOUR** w/ PICS!
Received my 15 deg M3 Hit with M-43 shaft and wanted to give my initial impressions after one range and one on-course session with it. My current gamer is a Royal Collection Type-H II with Diamana Red. You can tell from the pictures what a beautiful club it is. It has a fairly shallow face which is what I was looking for. Sets up square and the shallow face gives one confidence that elevating a shot off the turf will be no problem. And that's just what I found from the 10-15 balls I hit on the range. Super easy to hit. The RC Type-H II is fairly easy to hit also, but the PRGR is a no brainer. Just aim and swing. I did not detect any fade bias, but the shaft is a bit soft for my swing. I was planning on switching it out anyway if I liked the head. It has a softer, yet explosive feel and matches up well with my Epon driver. Nothing tinny about it. I hit it twice off the tee and 4 times off the deck for my second shot on par 5s. I did not bring my Type-H for comparison, but the PRGR seem longer off the deck, and similar off the tee. But so far I can easily see this club winning a spot in my bag. I'll reshaft it soon and give another review after a few more rounds.

Epon Sole Engraving
Very nice! If only they had that option when I ordered my Epons.

Bridgestone Science Eye Portable
That looks great, but are you sure it really does all that. From trying to translate the website, it seems like it measures clubhead speed and path (straight, inside, outside), and estimates distance. I don't think it measures lauch angle and spin. But still, for ~$100 I want one.

PRGR's New M3 Hit **TOUR** w/ PICS!
What are the specs on the PRGR stock shafts? Can anyone compare them to some of the more well known shafts on the market?

The three wood is the only club in my bag that is not safe. This club looks like a great replacement!!!

Royal Collection Star FD Fairway Review
Thanks! I am also interested in the X-drive GR fairway since you are having fun with reviews! I'm looking for something with more forgiveness, and the GRversion looks good.

Royal Collection Star FD Fairway Review
Thanks for the review! I am a big fan of RC fairway woods and was interested in seeing how these perform. I would never have guess how large it was so your pics and impressions were very helpful. You may have saved me some money!

EPON 2008 New Products w/PICS!!!
I like the old logo better. But the type-s irons are so good I would play them no matter what the graphics looked like!

Shaft Tip Diameter for Epon
Yes! .335 tip.

Tourstage X-UT Hybrid
Is it the Nippon 950 steel shaft? I've found that shaft launches fairly high. I don't know if you would gain much by switching shafts. The Fuikura Banzai might be a good relatively inexpensive option to try.

What length driver are you playing to get maximum distance?
I've found that I can't hit the sweetspot consistently with drivers longer than 45". I usually play my driver at 44.5" or maybe 44.75". Regarding SW I like my driver at D3.

Will do. But don't hold your breath!

Ultimate Epon Driver
Nice! Somehow I missed those. Probably a good thing, though. I love my Type-S irons.

Black J? No. I did not see those.

Ultimate Epon Driver
It's in my bag. I am hoping to get to the range today and I will get a few rounds in with it over the next two weeks. I've been playing the Epon 460 with X-con 6 and couldn't resist this one. The anniversary model is beautiful! Almost too nice looking to hit. I'll report back later.

Hybrids vs Fairway woods.
Hybrids to me are easier to control then fairway woods, but not quite as long. I play a 20 deg sonartec fairway wood and a 22 deg Adams hybrid in place of my three iron. The 5 wood is one of my favorite clubs and I haven't found a hybrid that could replace it (although I have tried). But I like the 22 deg hybrid instead of a 7 wood as it gives me better accuracy and trajectory control.
