  4. I knew it would come around for you (^_^), it's just that adjustment period I keep telling everyone about. (^_^)
  5. Yes I know the wedge well. It is very popular on the J-LPGA not JPGA. There are quite a few JLPGA girls using it. They push it towards the female crowd especially with it's graphics.
  6. Well there has been some mention of MTI here on the forum before. It's a wedge created by Cool Design Inc, a company created by Miyagi Yuuji, it has a very large tour following and in the last year eclipsed all other brands (even fourteen and vokey) as the most used wedge on the Japanese tour. MTI or Miyagi Tour Ism has announced a collaboration with Yokohama Rubber Company (PRGR in the golf world) to bring the wedges retail. There are basically two models one for a Digger/Deep Impact (Type D) and one for a Sweeper/Shallow Impact (Type S) and two lofts in each model (53 and 58). There is a lot of talk going around on sites in Japan as regular people have been dying to get their hands on MTI for a very very long time. Should be here in October!
  7. Now to refinish my Gauge Carl wedge.... (^_^)
  8. You can now join the official Epon FW fan club! (^_^) Remember too, the driver, having such a different feel sometimes needs an adjustment period. Good thing is you know that PT-6 inside out!
  9. Thanks everyone for their hard work. It was hard to choose winners: Results here: http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/index.ph...mp;f=1&id=2 Congratulations!

Give me a couple of hours... I'm updating the pro shop and the 48 series colors will be there...
  12. I had a raw 60* Seida Prototype sitting around that had picked up some rust over the summer. I've been working with my personal clubfitter to do some custom grinds and wedge finishing lately and we experimented with Perma Blue on the Seida, interesting result as we got it to look more cooper antique than a gun blue....
  13. Unfortunately that's all I can show right now.... Chris' avatar has another angle... teasers is all we can show... (^_^)
  14. Very limited availability, forged by Miura, retail for over 2100 a set. Also blades available (even rarer) and a driving iron:
  15. As far as I know most Gauge Japan's were also open 4* or so...
  16. My 701's should be here any day now! (^_^)

Ai-chan has always hit a Tourstage TV-50 alpha Stiff shaft in all her drivers. That's the same shaft in there.

It'll be interesting to see as traditionally the lineups have been seperate with the US having their own driver models and Japan their own. This year alone, Mizuno has released the MP Craft 425, 460 JPX E500 and JPX Light, that's four drivers this season alone!
  22. The Z-Steel released in the US is the 1st Gen Japanese Z-Steel that was out in Summer 2005 in Japan (2 years old). So it's a pretty old model by Japanese standards. The new Z-Steel II is packed with all Srixon's latest technology including the starburst face. The new Z has a thinner stronger face for even higher ball speeds and the starburst face increases the sweet spot for a much larger hitting area. The CG was also placed deeper back in in the head increasing MOI and trajectory. However, because this wood is geared towards "Athletes, or upper class players" Low handicappers as we call them here, Srixon made sure that the higher trajectory was made to be a powerful piercing one that can over come windy conditions. The design of the head is said to minimize side spin and allow the player to play the ball/direct the ball with better control.
  23. Yup got it and posted thanks.... 3 hours to go... 18 essays in... 10 WITB's.... you still have time!
  24. B, all I can say is that it is one of the most popular shafts in the JPGA tour especially among the bigest hitters/fastest swingers.
