  1. I haven't hit either sorry! But I do read a lot. :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: Tourstage also says that the Center of Gravity is actually 0.5mm higher on the 2007, allowing for slightly more penetrating ball flight and spin. The 2007 also has higher MOI.
  2. Size wise the 2007 ViQ Forged iron vs the old ViQ forged are pretty close. The heel of the 2007's are a tad taller than the old version and the sweetspot is according to Tourstage 0.6mm higher. They measured true loft on the 5 iron and the 2007's are a little stronger at 25.2* while the old ViQ was 25.8*.

Yeah that GDO site is awesome but not always up to date. Actually since I posted that link Chris scanned a new up to date pic of shingo's bag. Here it is:

Chris (TourSpecGolfer) can probably still get them for you, though I don't know if they will be much cheaper. Just drop him a PM here.
  5. Forgot to post this up from the X-Drive 2007 Intro back in October when all the top Tourstage Pros showed up for an unveiling of the new X-Drive. Each player is holding his own driver that he will have in his bag. There's quite a mix of 460's 460P's 430P's 430's and 410's among the players all depending on their personal preference and flight characteristics. Who would have thought a pic of a bunch of guys holding golf clubs could get people so excited! :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: As reported on the Inpakuto.com blog, Tanihara (3rd from the right) and Hiratsuka (far right) will have them in play at the World Golf Championships starting tomorrow in Barbados. So if you catch coverage, look out for the new X-Drive! PS. I love that Tourstage Staff bag in the background of the shot where Tanihara is teeing off.
  6. He won't regret it, the Code 6 is one smooth shaft. Great feel and best bang for the buck in the Ozik line in my opinion! Good choice Madball!
  7. They are indeed forged by Endo and there are Tungsten inserts in the 3 to 5 iron. According to Tourstage the MOI has been increased by 15% compared to the old ViQ forged allowing for more forgiveness. The lofts are a little on the strong side but with the tungsten inserts in the long irons and an extra 8g of weight distributed to the sole section of all the irons, that extra low center of gravity helps get the ball up.
  8. It was a good call by Endo... they are very sweet irons and I think I might have to get a set soon. :tsg_smilie_wink:
  9. Now that you mention it R, I do see the similarities as well. It's weird I didn't notice it earlier as these are two of the sets I would consider getting as they both look awesome. :tsg_smilie_cool:

Hi Zerohandy, If the wedge is on the Fourteen site then Chris can get it for sure. It's probably just not listed in the Pro shop yet. If you PM Chris he can probably tell you more. As for buying second hand equipment from members, the quickest and most used way is still Paypal. It would be difficult for members to receive credit cards. Another option is money order, but then the process takes a lot longer.
  11. Some more question I forgot to ask you was, what kind of ball flight you looking for and what are your swing characteristics? Graphite Design Japan is another brand you should definitely consider but it all depends on what you're looking for. I think almost everyone has had success with an Axiv/Epon combo. Chris has hit the Code 6 in the Epon too so he might be able to give you some feedback there. I'll be going the Axiv Epon route myself.

  13. I've got a Tourstage ViQ 5 wood in need of a headcover. Please let me know if you have one you want to sell. Thanks! :tsg_smilie_cool: gocchin
  14. Chris those are awesome! Beautiful pics as always my friend!
  15. I have a set of s300 pulls sitting at my clubfitter's... If you want them just pay the shipping and their yours... I doubt I'll ever use them.
  16. You are correct as usual... the 460P has the yellow on the sole too instead of red.
  17. Unfortunately I only have an old shot of Yang's bag. From what Chris said he's practically all G-field / Gauge Japan now except for his Honma driver. A few months ago he was using: Driver: Honma Beres 460 w/ ARMRQ Prototype X Flex Fairways: Kasco 3 wood, TaylorMade V-Steel 5 wood Utility: G-Field GFT-UT 3 Irons: Gauge Design Muscle 4-PW Wedges: Gauge Design Studio wedge 52* and 58* Putter: G-Field Leap (M I think it is) Ball: Titleist Pro V1x-332
  18. Chris scanned a nice pic comaparing the driver heads:
  19. According to that picture it says it's a Diamana Prototype
  20. Maybe you should consider the "P" version of the new X-Drive clubs. If you are hitting hooks, the pear shaped X-Drives are built with fade bias.
  21. Here are some bag pics for now... one of my fav players Kondo has one as does both the Miyazato brothers..
  22. No Fairway pics yet, at least up close ones... will post if I come across any.
  23. Based on your swing speed I'd say you're probably a stiff, but it's a lot harder to recommend the quattro tech based on your feel. Your swing speed is close to TourSpecGolfer's (Chris) and I'm pretty sure he uses a stiff in most shafts and has even had success with R flex shafts. My belief is that you're better off going a little too soft than too stiff. This is of course just my opinion as in the past, if I got a shaft too stiff for me, I'd be screwed (shots short and to the right), but if a shaft was more flexible than expected, it would be more of a timing adjustment for me. You seem to have had success with other Tour AD shafts in stiff. At this point in time, with the QT being so new there's not a lot of feedback on how it plays, just guessing based on specs...
  24. Yeah I haven't seen any shots of the 460P live yet, except small images in the hands of pros in various magazines. I'll be grabbing the regular 460 as a fade bias is not for me, nor is my swing X flex. :tsg_smiley_embarrassed: But theres something for everyone this time around... :tsg_smilie_cool:
